The admission process, IV placement, and all of the initial evaluations were completed without delay, which gave me confidence that I was in good hands. After I was transferred to my room, the nurse immediately welcomed me, helped me get settled, and made sure I was comfortable. Every member of the staff who cared for me was kind, respectful, and attentive. The unit was calm and quiet throughout the night, which made it much easier to rest and recover. The laboratory staff did an outstanding job drawing blood. Despite having several blood tests, I was left with almost no bruising or marks from the needle sticks. I would especially like to thank Nurse Michelle for taking the time to explain everything clearly, answer my questions, and offer helpful advice. I would also like to recognize Nurse Sasha. She has wonderful skills, and every injection she gave was completely painless. The food was tasty, although it had cooled by the time it reached my room. When I mentioned it, Michelle kindly arranged to have it warmed for me. I am also very grateful to Dr. Ranae Ellis and Dr. Robert Singal. They carefully explained my condition, reviewed my test results with me, answered my questions, and provided clear recommendations for my treatment and follow-up care. As a patient who came to the hospital with severe chest pain, I greatly appreciated that the team took my symptoms seriously and thoroughly evaluated my heart before determining that the problem was most likely related to my esophagus. Their professionalism gave me tremendous peace of mind. Hospitals are often remembered because of the technology they have. I will remember this hospital because of the people. Their professionalism, compassion, and genuine kindness turned a frightening experience into one that gave me confidence and peace of mind. Please accept my heartfelt thanks and appreciation. I hope every member of your team knows how much their dedication means to patients like me. You made a difficult experience much easier, and I will always remember the outstanding care I received. Thank you all. Gratefully, Michael Levin. Hospital stay 07/30/26-07/31/26.

All staff pleasant, polite and knowledgeable. Dr Mary is a saint. She reads all past records, listens to current situations, talks about resolving challenges and prescribes meds that address conditions. I am grateful Dr. Mary explains how they work as well as why they do not result in tolerance. I am 90% better. I know she will help me to 100%. Mary sends referrals immediately and knows which doctors will best meet my needs. Dr Robert is just as wonderful in all those areas. So grateful to be with them. TYPE OF CARE: Asthma (now cured), Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) (cured after referral to GI Specialist and upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy performed and esophagus expanded during procedure, difficulty breathing during exercise (all-gone) and blood work-full testing across the spectrum to identify areas of concern. Blood pressure - after trying amlodipine, then losartan, each could not bring readings down. Finally, they prescribed both at once with a lower amlodipine mg and they found the solution to my high bp. Have have had normal numbers since.

HCA Northwest Cardiac Care Hospital…read more 1. Checked in at Woodmont HCA Hospital Emergency at approximately 6:45pm for cardiac pain. 2. At approximately 11:00pm Woodmont Cardiologist recommended I be transferred to Northwest HCA Hospital because they are a cardiac care specialist. 3. At approximately 2:30am they admit me to room 433A. 4. At 5am a Cardiologist MD comes to see me and mumbles something and leaves. No plan of care. No clear communication. 5. At 8am still no communication about a care plan. Nurse tells me I have been scheduled for a stress test. 6. After a frustrating night without sleep and chronic pain and fatigue I decide that Northwest HCA is not where I'm going to receive the level of care I expected. So i ask nurse to preñan AMA release. 7. Still no MD shows up. Nurse explains and I ask to speak to an MD. Nope, that's not happening at Northwest HCA. DONT LET THE PRETTY LIGHTS AND SHINY FLOOR FOOL YOU. Northwest HCA is not about care and service and communication. It saddens me the lax employee culture. Sloppy and inattentive busy on their cell phones. Just pay attention to the first contact with checkin security. Eating potato chips, relaxed and chatting.

I did not feel physically or emotionally ready to be discharged, and I expressed that to the staff. Instead of feeling heard or supported, I felt dismissed. The way I was treated by the managers, Carissa and Kris, left a lasting impact on me. During our conversation, I was told that I needed to leave because other patients were waiting to deliver their babies. That made me feel like my recovery and well-being no longer mattered simply because I had already given birth. The days after childbirth are an incredibly vulnerable time for any mother. Compassion, empathy, and respect should never stop once the baby is born. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. This experience has stayed with me and has affected my postpartum journey. Instead of looking back on the birth of my child with happiness, I remember how I was treated during one of the most difficult moments of my life. I sincerely hope this hospital takes concerns like mine seriously and provides better support, communication, and compassion to future mothers. Every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and cared for not rushed out the door. Please do better. Mothers and their babies deserve better.

The traffic is horrible upon entering the parking lot since it shares the entry lane with a school. If you dont cause a crash, the parking area is sufficient. Mandatory check- in on the first floor then a stairway or elevator is provided. The center offers a large lounge with pay2eat snack and soda machines. Sadly, no cafe in sight. The third floor is designated for outpatient surgery and endoscopy, while imaging and dermatology are conveniently on the first floor. Patient's names are called out loudly by staff and were exactly upon appointment time. Per our opinion, the doctors here are easy to speak with and are knowledgeable - two important traits.

It's a small office and Dr. Wong is the only attending physician. They got a small office but the staff is friendly. Dr. Wong seemed nice. Because this our first visit, Dr. Wong asked a lot of questions. However, some of those questions sound weird and maybe a bit personal. When it comes to doing our blood work, they took two attempts to get the needle in me. I had blood work done by my last doctor and never had any issues. Unfortunately, my wife was not so lucky. They must have stuck needles in my wife's hands and arms in 6 different spots and still couldn't manage to draw any blood out. We ended up getting the blood work done at Quest near our house. We also had some other tests done but they never call us back with the results. A few days later I got mine back but they couldn't find my wife's. I think it's okay going to a small doctor's office, but the staff just seemed a little confused or unorganized.

But when saw the doctor, he asked a lot of questions which we thought were not related to our medical history. We went alone with it because we thought he may wanted to get to know about hour medical background. And .... when it comes to doing our blood work, they took six attempts to get my blood !!! 3 assistants ( not sure if they are nurses ) must have stuck needles in my hands and arms in 6 different spots and still couldn't manage to draw any blood out.  We ended up getting the blood work done at Quest near our house. But it comes to getting our results back from our test, it was very disappointing. My husband and I did the same test at the same time, but my husband got the result back after 2 weeks and I was told they can't locate my result. After repeated call back and forth, I finally got my results back 2 additional weeks with no explanations. Can you imagine if the test was a very important test and the result could be life and death? Their back office was totally unorganized and unprofessional and for that, My husband and I will NOT be going back.
