I had a serious toe fungus and researched and saw that Parker Podiatry has a laser that kills the fungus. I did not want to take the damaging oral medication if I could help it. I met with Dr. Parker who thoroughly examined my toe and scheduled 3 laser treatments with Jackie. She is a saint, she cuts your nails, treats them with an anti fungal and then uses the laser treatment, my nail was 100% back to normal within 3-4 months. I cannot recommend Dr. Parker and Jackie highly enough, they saved me! My son also had a toe issue with his toenail and Dr. Parker had him straightened out withing a month. RIP-OFF!! Dr. Was nice, the front staff was very unprofessional and extremely rude. if you are that miserable at your job, FIND A NEW ONE. i asked for a refund of my 100.00 co-pay, i went and got a blood test to find out what was going on with my foot. i was told i would get a call with my results in a few day. After a week i called his office to find out the do not have my results and have lost them. Again i was told i will get call back after the find out what was going on. I never revived a call again so i called again, the front desk girl proceed to tell me "oh you results show nothing" OK.....so why does my foot still hurt????? she could not answer my question and recommended i come back in fro a second appointment....are you kidding me, HELL NO. i need my REFUND of $ 100.00 asap . i will be contacting BBB and all sights to leave feedback if i do not revive my REFUND and a call back read more

After I had xrays done, I was told my insurance would not cover the shot I needed to relieve my foot pain on the same day (it did cover same day at another podiatrist in Memorial). When I called multiple times to ask what the out of pocket cost would have been for the shot, I didn't get a response until I went into the office to inquire. Orthotics were pushed on me even though I said I already had a pair. A pain relief cream was pushed on me too that was compound and out of pocket. I have a feeling it was more about $$ and getting multiple visits out of me and less about helping me. I think Dr. Parker is probably a good Dr. I think his staff is not very friendly, a little annoyed with questions and will try to get you to spend as much as they can, even if it means having you come in two weeks later so they can charge an extra office visit for a shot. I would have paid out of pocket. This isn't how other offices handle patient care. I do not typically write reviews, but I am going on week 3 and my foot pain is getting worse. In April 2022 I was mislead into paying out of pocket for orthotics by Stacy the receptionist, saying my insurance didn't cover them when they absolutely do. It has been 7 months of trying to get help from Desiree in billing, who has been extremely rude and totally unhelpful. In 7 months she has been unable and maybe even just unwilling to correctly file the claim with insurance. She didnt even attempt to file the claim until the day I accused them of fraud 3 months after the initial visit. How difficult can it possibly be to submit a claim for orthotics? It has been 7 months! I even had to file a billing FRAUD claim against them because it 100% feels like fraud from being lied to about coverage, the incorrect claim filings, and the refusal to issue refund. I've asked for receipts and documentation, and they refuse to provide them. They have been nearly impossible to get a hold of as my calls and emails go mostly ignored. I've reached out to Desiree approximately 27 times via email and have received a handful of replies all if which are giving me the run-around. I am due a refund according to my insurance but the office will not issue it even after saying they would in August. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE due to the office staff and their shady billing practices. I've made attempts to speak with Dr Parker directly but have yet to receive a call back from him. Deceptive. DO NOT go to this practice. When we came in to the office and were told that our 14-year-old needed an orthotic we gladly paid the $600. We were told by the specialist that they came with the warranty in case he grew out of them. Today upon. We were told that we have to pay for the warranty? This was never told to me and all she could do was not her head and say "OK OK you can talk to my manager on Monday". I am disgusted and ashamed for this practice. Been seeing Dr. Parker now for almost two years. After receiving foot care from other doctors for years with no results. Dr. Parker was very nice respectful and knowledgeable. I would give Dr. Parker 5 stars for his surgical ability and the success of the two bunionectomies he performed on me, but for the rude and unethical behavior of his bookkeeper, I have to make it 2 stars. This practice has owed me a $1,072 refund for 15 months now due to some services that were not performed. The credit just sat on their books. Finally, after over a year, I called to ask about it. Desiree readily admitted that the credit was owed. She said a check would be sent. That was three months ago. I have called her many times during that time. If I am lucky enough to get her on the phone, she says the check is on its way. If I leave a message, she won't call me back. I started seeing Dr. Parker a few years ago for heel pain that I had been dealing w/for about 15 years. He examined me & explained very well what was going on with my heel & offered various alternatives for helping me walk without pain. I went through orthotics, cortisone injections & physical therapy. These were temporary solutions since to "FIX" the problems I had needed surgery. I finally went on 4/2/14 & had 4 procedures done at once. It has been 5 weeks now since I had the surgery & I am completely pain free & walking quite well considering the work I had done. I could not be happier & am currently looking to schedule surgery on my other foot so that I can walk pain free on my vacation to Vegas in October! My experience with Dr. Parker was fine. I had a subungual hematoma from my laptop falling on my toe. I watched youtube videos of people using a hot paperclip to make a hole in the nail, but I saw so many comments saying that if you go to a podiatrist, they will use a cauterizing tool. I figured that would be more sanitary and all around safe. Dr. Parker ended up just using a lighter and a paperclip. It was fine and got the job done. So no huge complaint there I guess. My main complaint is with the billing department. First I was sent a bill that included costs that were covered by my insurance already. I called and billing said they would get back to me. Months later I received a bill in the mail for the correct amount. I paid it the day after. The next day my husband informs me that we were charged twice for the payment I made over the phone with billing. He called and asked if they could remove the payment, and of course not. Apparently that function wasn't available at the time. The bill had already been drug out for months, so we called our bank and disputed one of the charges off the account. A lot more hassle than I would have liked. I wanted to return to Dr. Parker to have surgery on one of my other toes, but now I don't want to deal with billing again. read more

I had bunion surgery about two weeks ago. Dr. Parker is an excellent doctor with extensive experience. He has two good nurses that are very attentive (post surgery) and I've received great care. I'd recommend the laser treatments to speed up the healing of the incision. My complaint is that the nurses do not take customer opinions seriously! I told the staff at the office, on the day of surgery, and post surgery that I have a severe latex/band aid allergy. If my skin can't breathe it begins to blister (hence the allergic reaction). Day 10 after surgery my foot began to enter hell. Around the incision I got blisters about an inch wide on either side. I called Dr. Parker's office to ask what I could do and the staff told me to wait until my appointment. I was extremely irritated because my foot had been itching but I did what the doctor's staff told me to do. Typically the stitches are removed 10-12 days after surgery and today was my twelfth day. I came in for my appointment Dr. Parker's office manager was absolutely horrendous. I explained my frustration because I knew I had been through in describing my allergy and she blamed me for my allergic reaction. She said because I didn't say I was allergic to adhesive I was responsible for the giant blisters. Not true. Latex does not stick to skin. Any band aid you find at the store has a small patch of adhesive. The band aid sticks to you because of the glue. I know I was clear because I emphasized my band aid allergy at least 5 times. The staff here as medical professionals took no responsibility for their misconduct and I am beside myself. I have to wait another week before getting the stitches removed and the kicker is that this situation was completely avoidable. I was ignored and then blamed for the staff at Parker Foot and Ankle's total inability to listen to the patient. Dr. Parker is clearly an expert but his poor staff have worsened my condition. I would recommend being extremely clear about any sort of medical conditions/allergies you have to his nursing staff both BEFORE and AFTER surgery, and to avoid the bitchy office manager with the short brown curly hair. Medical professionals are supposed to anticipate issues ahead of time but his staff did not care enough to clarify or ask me any further questions about my skin's reaction to band aids. If you are an outlier like myself, I would urge you to be cautious and clear with every employee at Parker Foot and Ankle. read more

Over the years, I have seen Dr. Parker for neuroma surgery in both feet and various other foot problems. I am happy to say that my feet are doing great. Dr. Parker knows what he is doing and keeps up with innovations in the field. But most important, he is a really nice guy.
