Chris at Parker Security Center is the BEST! this place is very honest and doesn't try to hustle you or try to sell you unnecessary stuff. We are driving across country today to move back home to Washington. We bought a used cargobox carrier that goes on top of the car for this move. and when the final moment came to use the damn thing, the damn lock got jammed and it wouldn't f'ing open! and we have a lot of stuff to carry. we called around and parker security center was the first place to get a response from. Chris told us to come in and he took a look at it once we were there. We told him that we have to drive for 22 hours today and this stupid cargo box is stressing us out. he first tries to see what's wrong with the damn thing first, and says that something inside the lock is broken. he diagnosed the problem for about good 15-20 mins and he was able to pick the broken lock and finally open the damn cargo box! he recommended us to change out the lock but that'd take 1-2 weeks because he doesn't have the part in stock. he advised us to keep the lock unlocked and just use straps to tie down the cargo box for our move back home. and he charged us NOTHING to pick the lock. CHRIS, YOU THE MAN. YOU ARE SO PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. We'll throw this cargobox away once we reach our destination lol. read more

Hugely disappointing. Chris seemed like a "nice guy" but ultimately failed horribly. He lost the key he was supposed to be duplicating. Full of seemingly-sincere apologies. But after his urgent promise to order the correct key from the manufacturer--to replace the one he lost--nothing ever happened. I patiently tracked Chris down by phone at least 3 or 4 times and returned to the shop 3 times (!!)--with the same empty promises each time. I finally gave up and bought the VERY expensive replacement myself. (Manufacturer can duplicate missing key with VIN, but it's extremely costly.) Not once did Chris return a call; it was always me trying to follow up. I'll never go near this shop again. read more

I called another shop to get a copy made of my Thule Bike Lock Key. They weren't able to give me a quote or a turn around time. I think his name was Jason confidently told me it would be about $5 a key and could be done on the spot. I went in and sure enough it was handled quickly for that price. He seemed to know a lot about the industry as I asked him other questions about replacing locks on bike racks. Really friendly and great customer service. That would be my go to place for keys. read more

Brought in lock set to rekey and make multiple new keys. Things were great, until I reinstalled door knob. Door did not lock any more, no need for keys for a door that does not lock. I brought the set back to store to see if they could figure out what was going on. I was told it was broken. I had no issues at all with the door knob before I got it rekeyed. $30 and a few hours time wasted. No offer of refund, partial refund or discount on new set. Just S... out of luck. read more

This place is great! Professional, knowledgeable, staff, who were able to get this done. I dropped in and worked with Chris in the Parker store. He had a spare FOB for a Ford vehicle but was not able to program it. He asked if I was interested in going to their Aurora store which was 20 minutes away. The gentleman there was able to figure out the issue and successfully programmed the FOB and cut the key. Great professionalism and super customer service!! Prior to this, I tried to get this done with a Remote Locksmith who showed up two times with the wrong equipment and refused to help me. Thank you Parker/Aurora Security Center! Oh MAN am I glad this place got bought by someone who gets what customer service is all about! We've lived in Parker for 22 years and the guy that used to one this had a sign on the door that said "call for appointment"!!! Uh, NO, I'll go somewhere else...and we did! These new guys are AWESOME, they just saved me a long drive and a LOT of money driving up to Arapahoe Hyundai to get nailed for 75 bucks for doing nothing! Scheduled a service call to have 3 locks re-keyed and door hardware installed. Waited almost my 4 hour time slot for a phone call that the person was on his way. Called the business to inquire when someone would be out and we discovered that my appointment had not been put into their system correctly (so no appointment on their schedule for the day). The person on the phone immediately dispatched someone to come to my house (came within 30 minutes) and apologized for the mixup. The person did a great job for us and even re-keyed all locks twice when I gave him the wrong key at first! I also received another call from, I believe, one of the owners apologizing profusely for the mistake and saying that that is not how they do business. That call was MUCH appreciated.
