We stopped in for some pizza a couple of nights ago and were so unimpressed that we won't rush back anytime soon. When we arrived there were two booths with customers and a sign that said seat yourself. We found a booth and some menus and waited for a server. We were greeted shortly thereafter and gave a drink order. Water for me and a beer for my husband. Then we ordered some Fried Mushrooms for an appetizer and a large Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. 40 minutes later we were delivered a barely warm pizza and fried mushrooms. My husband asked the girl who brought the pizza for another beer - since he had finished it and we hadn't seen our server again - and she said she would tell our server. Then we started to eat and realized that we didn't have any napkins, plates, or silverware. Nothing. So... after waiting for several minutes... I decided to get up and go get them myself. The bartender came out from the bar and asked what I needed. I told her, she gave them to me and apologized. Then our server overheard and said it was the fault of the runner who brought us our cold dinner - as she grabbed the beer to bring to my husband. The food - not great at all. Maybe it would've been better had it been brought out to us when it was done. It had obviously been sitting in the back for awhile. The cheese had no pull since it was cold, the mushrooms on top were cold. The fried mushrooms were greasy and started to get soggy from sitting. They had good flavor so they may have been better had they been served right away. During our time waiting for our food we watched one man walk up with cash in his hand, looking for the server, so that he could pay and leave. That left us as the only people in the dining room. There were people in the small bar area and that seems to be where all the servers stay. They were not short staffed. We saw several workers in the bar area and in the back kitchen area. They definitely aren't understaffed. Also - heads up - there is a 4% charge for using a credit card. The highest I've seen yet. So, bring cash for your cold pizza. read more

9/17/25 - We were there for an hour and a half before our food came out. Little to no attention while we waited, so much so that our ice had fully melted in our drinks long before the food came. All potato products came out incredibly greasy. Nothing was great. Rough to wait that long for food that wasn't great. And then we were simply thanked for our patience. That's fine, but honestly after a certain number of hours, some accountability is in order. In the form of some type of something being comped. But that didn't happen. This was a unique failure on Sunday evening. We arrived at 6 pm with children ages 11, 3 and 1 years old. It was busy so organized our order to place it as soon as they waited on our table. We patiently waited for service and our food but after two hours, with family needing to travel another hour, we asked for our two pizzas to go and we all ate them cold at home. What was to be a nice finale on a wonderful weekend ended on a very disappointing note. Credit to the children who behaved and didn't melt down confined to a booth! Suggestion to management, if your wait times for a simple order of two pizzas is two hours, let the diners know at the outset so they can decide if this is the best evening to dine with you. We have been there before and been very happy but this was a real catastrophe. Our poor server was rushing about and pleasant but is was impossible. Where to begin. I was visiting family in Ohio and we went to Parker's Pizza for dinner. We sat down and the server was there asking what she could get us to drink. I ordered a pizza to eat there with a sandwich to go. For an appetizer we ordered fried pickles. Everything was excellent. I have extra cheese in my pizza and they definitely did no skimp. Our server made sure our table was clear of dirty dishes and we had plenty to drink. When we got ready to leave she brought out my sandwich (the Italian hoagie), it was piping hot. I finished my pizza and ate my sandwich on the way back to Texas the next day. It was STILL wonderful. At this point, I'm wondering if I could get them to fedex their food to Texas. worst experience EVER! went there on a Thursday night, not busy and took over an hour to get our food! the server was very rude and argumentative after asking where our food was. plus they add a gratuity on ever check! not OK. service means everything. if you service is amazing!!! why worry about adding gratuity. that's just goes to show they add gratuity because people do not tip. prob because service is horrible. will never be back and will warn people about the automatic gratuity. tried to get owners name and number and they refused. you need a whole new staff. sad! read more

The waitress was very nice, but she seemed to have no idea what she was doing. Maybe very new? Maybe not? I'm not sure. We sat for 30 mins after ordering an appetizer before we got it, and it had an incorrect item in it, and the incorrect item was overcooked as well. We sat for an hour waiting on main food to arrive before I decided to leave after another waitress told us there were tickets ahead of us and that it would still be a bit. It wasn't slammed busy. Food not correct, had to have it recooked. When got home the other sandwich was not made correct. Called to let them know and the lady argued with me that the mushrooms were grilled. Another girl got on the phone. Finally, she finally put on a manager. After telling my story twice already, I told the manager to ask one of the other girls. She said, well...if you can't tell me, I wont give you a credit and hung up!! I called back and asked when the owner would be in and she said maybe tomorrow, maybe not. I do believe I've eaten here ever since I was old enough to eat solid food. This place has been a Georgetown treasure for many many years. Steak Stromboli ... pizza sauce, cheese, pickles, onions. Large pepperoni, sausage (ground), onion, and strip bacon. They have added on a new dining area. It has and will take them a little time to adjust and train new staff. As long as you have patience and understanding you'll be fine with a small wait. Although I no longer live in Georgetown, I always make it a point to stop in while visiting family. read more

After the change of hands, it just seems to be lacking in speed and sometimes quality.-We've had dinner delivered and the buns were a bit burnt on our Stromboli's. They told me one price and then overcharged me. I came in to order a hoagie and asked specifically about if any cost to add veggies to the hoagie. I was told by the waitress there was no cost to do so. So I asked to add the veggies. Later on the bill they added an extra charge. I said to the waitress they should have came back and checked with me if I still wanted them if there was a charge after telling me no charge. They just left the bill and said nothing. I brought it up in hopes they would not do to others in the future and mentioned that a couple of times. They never told me they wouldn't be doing it to others. The food was in a brown bag stapled up so I couldn't see if it was correct, the boy read it off and assured me it was there and correct. Drove 20 minutes home, had three 6" steak hoagies, 1 with the correct toppings, 1 had mushroom sauce and onions and pickles, the third had very little cheese. The pizza crust doesn't taste homemade.. rather cardboard-like. The sub bread is doused in butter which could be favored by some, but for me was pretty greasy. A lot of the appetizers taste like they were frozen. Not terrible but definitley not my favorite experience. read more

On Saturday June 17th my mom and I stopped in to have lunch! Normally we love visiting the small town eatery and supporting locally owned small businesses. However on this day our experience was the worst we have ever had!! Our waitress came over and took our drink order which was fine she went and got our drinks also fine. We were the only 2 people at the time inside the restaurant, she took our order and left and I could see the bar area from where our seats were. We sat and we sat and we sat and she never came to check on us, but whatever we were just waiting on our food. While we are waiting a family of 8 came into the restaurant they sat at a table right next to us and had a different waitress than we did. She took their order and drinks and then we were all waiting. It was 45 mins later and we had still yet to get our food but the table of 8's order started coming out to them. SO I asked their waitress to please step over to us which she did and I asked her nicely if our girl had put our order in to which I was greeted with a attitude saying she would have put it in as soon as we placed it. I said well only reason I ask is because this table here sat down a good 10-15mins after us and you have brought them their food and we are still sitting and waiting on ours. To which she huffs at me and says I guess we will have to check on that for you! She then goes and tells our waitress who has still never came to say boo to us. She brings our food straight out to the table a couple mins later.....laughs while placing it in front of us and says ohh it was in the to go pick up place! Never did she apologize for that mistake or anything. So you can now tell our food had been sitting forever and their way of trying to make it taste ok was to smoother our hoagies in melted butter which is now dripping from the sandwiches it was so gross and mozzarella sticks where so hard and just gross!! TO ME I would have discounted something for us off our bill or you know made sure to apologize for the giant shit show that was unfolding. But instead I was handed my bill at full price and so I went to the bar to say I wasnt paying for the whole thing and greeted again with a major attitude by the woman who is being a waitress and sitting at the bar and eating what I assume as her lunch but I bet her's wasnt gross and nasty. Needless to say no apologies were still give I was accused of storming the counter and told her not to get snotty with me and she said I came with a attitude well I didnt have one till you guys didnt apologize gave me crap food laughed about the situation and now want me to pay full price. I went ahead paid left no tip cause well no way in heck was that happening. Driving home I kept getting madder and madder about that act that had just taken place. I called and asked for the manager which oh not surprising was the one giving me so much attitude while at the restaurant! Needless to say the phone call ended with her hanging up on me very classy 1st class customer service act!!! This is a small locally owned business. They have hand written signs all over the door saying stuff like, we do not accept credit or debit cards. Our times have changed starting Jan 2014, we will not be open on Mondays anymore etc. Btw, I visited this in Jan 2015. :) Their pizza toppings are limited.. they don't have beef as a topping. What gives? I ordered a small cheese pizza and it was okay. Nothing special ! I also ordered 6 buffalo wings and they were swimming in hot sauce. They were also breaded.. so it appeared they heated Tyson's heavily breaded chicken wings and poured half a bottle of hot sauce on it. Only one waitress on shift for a Sunday after church crowed! Food is mediocre. I ordered spaghetti the sauce was so dried out from the reheating in the microwave. The waitress being about 18years old did not understand or did not have the time to listen with both ears. She relaid the information incorrectly to the BIG BOSS MAN. Who the next day drove his truck around my friend yelling at him not to come back to his restaurant again! Not giving my friend a chance to explain. I heard every word that my friend said, and nothing was improper. This is not a small town business person, this is a bully and a fool. I am so disappointed with the service from this hometown favorite and the bad attitude of the staff. This evening at 6 pm I ordered an 8 in steak hoagie, order of fries and a medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions and banana peppers for delivery. I was told there were 2 orders ahead of me. After waiting for 90 minutes, the driver arrived with the steak hoagie, fries and a 12 in steak hoagie with mushroom sauce, pickles and banana peppers. When I asked what happened to my order because this wasn't correct, the driver said he picked up what the ticket said, I called and said my order wasn't right and the young lady that answered said 'What do you mean your order isn't right?' With an attitude Honestly Wade, you need to get a grip on this order delivery process Why can't they say how long it will be for the delivery and why does your staff act like it's the customers problem when the orders are wrong?????? read more
