Sadly From Beverly Nabors: Dr. Foley is good but her staff Casey and the Receptionist staff needs lots of teaching as how to care for her patients. I actually filled a Grievance against Casey and the Receptionist on her office side. As my facial skin cancer continued to worsen into the corner of my eye, NO reply from my email, message, or even walking in on Monday, October 20,2025 for help. I was told Casey would contact me.... It's now October 23, and Nothing from this Office. Today I saw Dr. Heller's office and feel very confident in his diagnosis. Park's Dermatologist need to check it's Ratings..... Was sent a letter for both my husband and l We where told they no longer be able to give us medical care That was one week after we made appointment no expectations. But I believe it was we tried to make appointment over the phone we couldn't understand the person whom I believe was in India. So we went to the office to make the appointment. we told them we didn't understand the person with a heavy accident. We feel this is American I want to speak to people who work in office here. They never answer their phone. I left a message for a surgical appointment. The message says they will call back in 24-48 hours. Six days later I called back and tried the regular appointment line because I had not heard from them. I was number 14 in line. After 15 minutes I was still number 14 in line. I called the next day and was number 2 in line. 20 minutes later I was number 2 in line. I tried to go on the website and the site kept giving error messages. They just don't care. read more

This practice was, at one time, a pleasure with which to consult. Not anymore! When you call for an appointment, you cannot get past the recording that states leave "A" (ONLY ONE) message and expect a return call--the return never happens! We (spouse & I) have not seen a physician in the past few visits (1-3 annually) and the PA staff are extremely rushed. We are leaving the practice. I really liked my doctor, but staff is difficult . Back and forth for days trying to schedule appointment. They call me after I have scheduled & are unaware of the appointment they set up ? Took at least a week and five telephone calls to set an appointment.The reason I will not return, they scheduled a consultation with radiation techs . At this 5 minute meeting they asked me a few simple questions that could have easily been done over the phone . They then charged over $100 a minute . The real insult, is no one at the office had any interest in why I was unhappy . read more

I have been a patient for over 15 years and cannot say enough good things about Parks Dermatology. I usually go to the Port Orange office but have also been to the Ormond Beach office. The office staff is always cheerful and very helpful when scheduling my appointments. Dr Suah always takes time to listen, doesn't rush through appointments and has always resolved my issues. I went to this office for laser tattoo removal. I was told going in that they did not numb the area because the gel gets in the way of the laser. I thought it was normal since it was my first treatment. I literally felt like I was being burned alive. The pain was so excruciating that I almost threw up. It was truly the worst pain I've ever felt. I'd say it was equal to labor pain. They acted like it was completely normal and that this is what it takes to remove a tattoo. Shortly after this treatment I had gone back to have my moles checked and to remove a skin tag. I gave them my insurance card and was told that I owed $75 out of pocket. I paid them in full. I then received a bill from them a few weeks later telling me I owed them $175. I called them to find out why and they said that that's what I should've paid out of pocket on top of the $75 I had already paid. I told them that if it was more than $75 then they should've told me that day. The lady told me she wasn't sure why I wasn't charged that the day of service. I told her that 3 weeks later was a little late to be telling me I owe an additional $175 for the service. I expressed to her that I thought she should wave the charge because of a lack of communication and it being almost a month later. She absolutely refused to. They then sent the bill to collections which is now on my credit report. A few months later I started going to Advanced Dermatology in Palm Coast to continue my tattoo removals. I told them about the tattoo removal experience I had at Parks and they were SHOCKED that I was not numbed. They said they had never heard of such a thing. They put a numbing gel on my skin, allowed it to sit to get good and numb and then wiped it off before lasering. I was shocked at how little pain I felt compared to the horrible pain I was put through at Parks. This place is bad news all the way around. I'd recommend people to stay away from this place. read more

I've been going here regularly for 3 yrs for Botox and filler. I called today to make an appointment and they told me that the person I see Put a note in my folder saying they no longer want to see me but no explanation! They were going to call me back to tell me why but never got the call! It really made me feel discriminated against or something! I felt kind of rejected and confused all day!! You kind of want to see the same person forthese procedures! The sad part is I have given their name to four or five of my friends saying how great they are for aesthetics and dermatology. So now I have to find somewhere else to go. I just looked at their rating and it's only a 3.5. I found a new place closer to home and I'm going to call tomorrow for an appointment that has a 4.9 rating. read more

After hitting that mile stone of 40 - something, I knew I had to find a specialist that could gently remove the lines that life had left behind. I was so happy when I found Miss Ida Bell to do just that and a little more. Miss Bell is extremely knowledgeable and comfortable with her practices and expertise. She talked me through the process step-by-step from beginning to end. With her experience, she also offered constructors recommendations as to initial changes and long term goals of maintaining my aging skin and addressing certain areas of concern. The office is very clean and well-maintained. The office staff is very professional and proficient in scheduling and payment options. I highly recommend this facility and especially Miss Bell. After waking up five days in a row on vacation with swollen severe allergy eyes I desperately yelped dermatologist and allergist all over the area. Went down the list calling every option and was beginning to lose hope until i came across this place and an absolute angel of a receptionist called around to all five locations to make it happen. It was a total lifesaver esp after having soo many horrible experiences being denied and left on hold by soo many other places. They got me in same day and gave me a fresh start. Feeling like my old self again thanks to the kindness of a stranger who understood my needs, took me seriously and restored my faith in humanity. very grateful to have stumbled upon them. If it were possible to leave Zero stars, that's likely what most people would see. After 2 treatments was told I would need a 3rd visit with a laser, so I scheduled a follow up appointment, only to come in, be told they don't have the laser, but could schedule a consult at the same location for treatment. I asked if they don't have the equipment, why would I come back for a consult, to be told I need a laser, which they don't have. After that discussion, I Was charged a $50 copay for being told they scheduled me for treatment they could not provide, and to schedule another appointment, so that they could again clarify, that I needed treatment, which they could not provide. This hypocrisy is nauseating. read more

If you want medical malpractice please visit this facility. You can explain to staff that you are allergic to something and they will still prescribe it to you without a care. 9 days later and still no response. The woman ahead of me today was screaming that no one called her to tell her she had cancer and instead had to call the lab to get her results! The staff is really nice but I am a little disappointed so far with my experience. I moved to FL with a need of a dermatologist because I started getting blemishes on my skin. My first visit I told the ARNP that I was perviously on products that helped clear up my skin. She then prescribed me different creams. I gave it 7 weeks and my face had got worse. It turned into full blown acne, where the blemishes were very angry red and painful. I rescheduled today and basically paid for her to tell me that she is going to put me on what I originally was on. I've so far spent a lot of money with no results. Not to mention I waited an hour today. read more

I've had skin cancer of various types, and they have always treated me as if I am of utmost importance and are very clear when they give instructions and results. I'll preface with Dr. Parks has a great reputation in this area. My experience at this facility was with the nurse practitioner, Ida. I went in for a mole check and for what I presumed was a cyst (I'm in a medical profession so I knew what this was textbook). She gave me the option of leaving it or biopsy and I asked her to remove it. She did a shave biopsy and on paper diagnosed it as a dermatofibroma and told me it should heal nicely. The biopsy came back as a cyst. A few weeks later the cyst grew back. I contacted the office and they explained that the biopsy didn't necessary have to remove it, just diagnose it and that if I wanted it removed I'd need to schedule for an excision procedure with a doctor. Not only am I from out of town making this super inconvenient, but I paid for a biopsy that didn't remove the pathology because she wasn't qualified to perform the procedure that would. Knowing this, I would not schedule an appointment here unless it was with a doctor. The standard of care was not met to the level of a medical specialist, but billing and coding was done to that level. read more

On November 1, 2017, I had an appointment with Dr. Cappola to check two spots on my forehead and one on my neck for skin cancer. Dr. Cappola checked the spots and said there was nothing to worry about and to come back in a year for an annual body scan. I didn't feel comfortable with Dr. Cappola's diagnosis, so I scheduled an appointment On February 14, 2018 with Advanced Dermatology to get a second opinion. Dr. Eubanks performed a biopsy of the spot on my neck and it came back positive for a type of skin cancer called Squamous Cell Carcinoma. I will never return to Parks Dermatology. read more

I would rather give no stars if that was an option. I was supposed to have a CO2 laser treatment done, which I have had before from them. First of all, they make it extremely difficult to even schedule an appointment. You can only schedule it with Gina Burdi, though she does not give out a direct number for you to call or respond to voice messages. Although when you call the office, they will tell you that you can schedule through the receptionist which is not true. After wasting an inordinate amount of time calling and getting false information, I finally got an appointment scheduled. I rearranged my work schedule of clients to take a week off for the procedure, using up all my vacation days. And as I am waiting in the chair for them to start the procedure, they tell me their equipment is malfunctioning and they cannot do it for another two weeks. I had to write off an entire week of work as I can not make last minute schedule changes. They took absolutely no accountability for the hardship and disappointment they caused me. Not having much other local options, I eventually scheduled another appointment. This time Rahcel Smith and Gina Burdi ambushed me before starting, which was never part of the process before, and told me they would not do the procedure because my chin was inflamed. My skin was no different than it had ever been before, and there was never an issue. I could not believe that they completely screwed me over a second time! It is clear that they don't know what they are doing and you can count on them being incompetent and totally mismanaged. Moreover, they maintained an attitude of total disregard throughout the whole process and made me feel so much worse after their "evaluation" of my skin. I have never been treated so poorly from a business. They truly do not care about your experience whatsoever. I will definitely not be returning. It is worth taking the drive out to Orlando to not have to deal with them. read more

Have you ever heard of a dermatologist who does NOT see patients with ance? Yes that is what I was told by the staff at Parks Derm when I tried to make an appt for my pre teen daughter. I inquired why, "Oh the doctor doesn't like follow up." Are you kidding me? I have a few friends that go here but I realized they get injections... not actual medical treatment. Hmmm interesting. I decided to take my daughter to the wonderful dermatologist I went to as a teen in Winter Park, they may be older and close to retirement but I know they are caring, compassionate, and competent. My review is two fold. 5 stars for past this treatment of this doctor and 1 star for current situation. I set appt with dr to have skin checked after several years without a check. I was having very bad afternoon, not feeling well the day of the new appointment. Could not find the port orange office, stuck in traffic on dunlawton coming from another appointment and drove around in and out of traffic on dunlawton to try to locate three times. Not easy to stop on dunlawton or pull over but I stopped put address in GPS and still could not get the appropriate directions. I missed my appointment. I called to reschedule was told the doctors time is very valuable, that the doctor put a note in my file per the receptionist that the doctor would not see me again. I said ever? they said yes that's correct. The staff encouraged me to see someone else but not this doctor. I was shocked and appalled. They did not care what my reasoning was, there was no way to make this right with this office. So why would I see someone else in their practice when they treated me this way. A doctor should understand people have reasons, people get sick, life happens. Listen to your patients before being a jerk . read more

No way I will ever go back. Not sure how they list themselves as a dermatologists office. Went in there for mole screening and dermatitis and ended up getting prescriptions for their inhouse line of beauty products and moisturizers- They even called in a prescription for a face wash to the pharmacy who in turn called me to question it and laugh when I told them, turns out it was essentially selson blue. If I wanted a true salon experience or makeover I would go to a salon or Dillards. If you want to see a dermatologist do not be fooled by Parks name- save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I will never return. There is no 0 star rating. I have been to Dr. Coppola 3 or 4 times in the last few years. (Even followed him from a previous practice) When he walked in today, I was immediately rushed. What are we looking at, where, next, next, next...? His appearance had changed dramatically since the last time I saw him (didn't recognize him) and to make small talk as he was "burning things" off, I tried to compliment him on his new look and told me that I did not "Know him like that". That I had no right to say anything. As I tried to explain myself, he said, "You can't take a hint either' and walked out. For the record, I was going to say that he had gone from a traditional, debonair doctor look to a Keanu Reeves Matrix look, and that he looked younger and more "hip", still handsome. I did not know that you needed to be in a relationship with someone or lifelong pals to give them a compliment. Great bedside manner. read more
