The entire team are some of the most welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable people I've ever met. My 7 year old daughter has been experiencing pain on one of her baby molars that has a large…read morecavity. Her pediatric dentist wanted to do oral sedation on her and didnt have an appointment till October. (2.5 months from initial pain and we all know once a tooth has pain even a couple days is unbearable). I was in desperate search and came across Dr. Kelly Lam who is not a pediatric dentist but she was SO amazing and SO patient. We took my daughter in for initial consultation and Dr. Lam reviewed what needed to be done, the tooth was too bad to save so we needed to extract the tooth. She doesnt do any kind of sedation other than the local numbing like we all get as adults. My daughter felt comfortable with Dr. Lam and agreed to get it done. Day of the visit, my husband and I were more nervous than my daughter! Dr. Lam explained the procedure to my daughter, numbed her up real good (to which my daughter said after "is she going to give me the shot now?" AFTER she already went in with the numbing shot!), and proceeded with the procedure. My daughter came out so proud of herself. I cant recommend Dr. Kelly enough. The fact that we didnt need to drug up my daughter with laughing gas or any kind of sedation says alot because shes usually very nervous. I had Invisalign treatment with the San Bernardino office from 2023 to 2024, and my experience has…read morebeen extremely frustrating and disappointing. In May 2024, I went in for a revision and was told I would be contacted when my new trays arrived. I never received a call. About two months later, my husband followed up in person and was told they had not received anything for me. There was no proactive communication or effort to resolve the issue. Around that same time, I was quoted nearly $1,000 for a crown, even though my insurance indicated crowns were fully covered. I later learned this office is not a preferred provider, which explained the high out-of-pocket estimate. I ultimately switched to another dentist where my insurance is properly accepted and have since received routine care without issue. After that, the level of service noticeably declined. For months, I tried to schedule an appointment to complete my Invisalign revision, but was repeatedly told I had to see a specific dentist who is only available in the San Bernardino office once a month. Every appointment I scheduled over a three-month period was canceled. I was eventually offered a May appointment, but I will be out of the country at that time. I asked to be seen at another location and went to the Riverside office, clearly explaining that I was there only to complete my Invisalign revision. Despite this, I was repeatedly asked if I wanted a cleaning, encouraged to get a deep cleaning (which I do not need), and even told I should have my wisdom teeth removed--something no other dentist has ever recommended to me. It felt like constant upselling rather than patient care. After clarifying multiple times that I was only there for my Invisalign revision, I was then told it would cost $2,500 to restart the treatment plan. This directly contradicts what I was previously told by the San Bernardino office--that I had until November to complete my plan. Overall, this office demonstrates poor communication, inconsistent information, and a clear focus on upselling rather than patient care. I would not recommend them, especially if you are relying on insurance coverage or expect continuity in your treatment.
