Never get a root canal here specially the front teeth. Lucky, I did not...They will waste your time. They told me if I get a root canal my teeth would break and I should get my teeth pulled. Magnolia Dental Care is the worst dentist I have ever heard of. My girlfriend was previously going to the dentist twice a year already, and takes great care of her teeth. She needed a new dentist after moving to Riverside and went to this practice. They made her wait over an hour, only to say that she needed a "deep cleaning" instead of a regular cleaning. They refused to do a regular cleaning, and then continued to say that she also had 8 cavities. The following week she saw a new dentist who said her teeth were perfectly fine, no cavities and no deep cleaning necessary. Even though she told Magnolia Dental Care she was not interested in their services anymore, they still proceeded submit a claim and got insurance approval. They constantly called her asking her to come back in to get all that work done on her teeth. This is the type of practice that gives HMO dentists a bad reputation. We will be filing a complaint with the state Dental Board. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

one dentist visit that would affect me for years to come... I came here three years ago to get some cavities filled. they were not very nice and I was crying the whole procedure due to the lack of care and immense pain I was in. I noticed I have a uneven surface on top of my tooth now after the filling, did not think anything of it. Two years later, that filling comes off because of that and now I have a gaping hole in my tooth. I have to get two root canals because of this. When not happy with the dental work and asking for a refund, it's impossible to get a full refund, because the lab charges them a fee and they do not refund the fee that they charge the dentist and I'm sure charge you, even though the impressions are not done correctly, and not the patients fault that dental work was done incorrectly! read more

Everyone hates going to the Dentist including me lol. But I will say that this has been one of my best experiences to being to a not so fun place. The Dr. Is very perfossional , he explains everything that needs to be done. Every other dentist I went to wanted to do a root canal but said fillings would be fine , which they were. I ended up also extracting 4 wisdom teeth and got dry socket. It's very common but extremely painful. He was able to pack my gums with a medication and took the pain away. He also said come as much as you need. It gave me relief because that is a unbearable pain. Even the receptionist is amazing they treat you like family and really try their best to make you feel at home. read more

I have been a patient at magnolia dental for many years and have always been impressed with how friendly the staff is and the quality of service that they provide. Today was no different. I had a crown put in in 2015 and today it fell out. I called the office and I spoke to Patty about my problem. She told me to come right in. What started as just re-cementing a crown turned into prepping for a whole new crown. Dr. Farrah was super patient and took great care of me. I had a broken tooth that wasn't bothering me, but was sharp and it had been a couple of years since I had a cleaning. The office was nice and clean with lots of parking. The staff was so nice and Dr. Patel was awesome. He gave me my options, did my cleaning, and smoothed out my broken tooth so it wouldn't bother me while I considered my options. The X-rays were done right in the dental chair which was very convenient. The cleaning was very gentle and I felt like everyone took the time to listen to me. Nobody was pushy or in a hurry. I'll admit, I've tried everything in my power to avoid going to the dentist until coming to this office. The ladies up front are very helpful and polite and the dentist that I've been with are great at their jobs. They understand my anxiety about being there and do their best to accommodate me. I've been coming here since I was a kid with my family and I'm 24 now. The staff here is GENUINELY so nice and caring. Although it's the dentist office, the staff makes me feel like I'm at home with how nice they are, they know you on a first name basis, ask about family who they also know on a first name basis and you build a great bond with every staff member from here because it's more than just cleanings and fillings here. Liliana, Dr.Patel and his daughter who is the main dentist here now have done fantastic work here on me and my whole family and we continue to come till this day. i hate to do this but this was my first and last time coming here. i made it known on paper and to the staff that i have anxiety disorder and unfortunately felt uncomfortable the whole visit. for what it's worth, the front desk lady was super sweet and helpful. so, i did not get her name but one of the dental assistants wrapped the protective vest around me so we can take the x-rays. i understand if this was an accident but she ripped some hair out when she pulled it off me and needs to be more careful because i'm not sure how she didn't see that much hair stuck in the velcro. the Dr. only said hi and did not walk me through anything. he only talked to the dental assistant. when it comes to people with anxiety, or even in general, i think it's best to talk people through what you're about to do rather than opening my mouth without a word. i had to stop them and ask what they were about to do. i was aware that i needed a root canal that has not been taken care of but was told that i had an additional 3 "little cavities". the dr had already walked out so he did not tell me, the assistant did. i had just gotten four cavities taken care of so that didn't make sense to me. (this is important, you'll understand towards the end of this) i started to tell the dental assistant that i was interested in an implant if they can't sedate me since i didn't want to go through the pain and the dental assistant kept telling me no. she gave me a mirror and said, "do you want to ruin this smile? do you want a hole there?" i said, "but i want an implant" and she replies, "do you want to pay 10,000 dollars? do you want to be in debt?". by this point i was very upset since it's my money and doesn't concern her. i was simply asking about the process of an implant since the dr didn't give me the time to talk/ask questions and she instead tried to give me unsolicited advice. simply put, it was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. (now, the important part and reason why i'm writing this review) i went to a new dentist last week and he walked me through everything and provided the care that i needed but i also found out that i in fact did NOT have 3 new cavities. he showed me my x-rays too. if you come to magnolia, make sure they show you your x-rays and walk you through everything. you will be faced away from the x-rays.. read more

The best dental practice I have ever visited. Dr. Patel was very professional and nice. I was so happy with my visit I referred my family members over to Dr. Patel and they loved him as well.
