Above Average. Beer and burger menu is a great (and welcome) addition for the area; however, the flavor of the burgers seemed to lack something. I remember thinking on first bite -- "is this it?" Especially with such an entertaining and unique food menu (I had the parkside public burger, fiancé had turkey burger). The ambience could also use a little work -- this is a new space, so some growing pains are to be expected. The walls are barren and I'm not sure what to make of the decor I do remember -- a giant elk skull that greets you as you come in. I'm not against elk skulls -- just wondering how it fits? This place certainly has potential and is worth a try. Looking forward to seeing it mature. read more

Been to PP twice -- fairly disappointed both times. The main thing I noticed was the not-so-good fries and onion rings. Both times, there was a chemically after-taste that is usually caused by using oil way after it should be tossed. Fish sandwich was kinda gross. Flabby bacon on one of the burgers. Shockingly bad service. I've eaten here several times, and it's gone downhill and so has the food. We got seated at the middle bar and the waitress buzzed by us for a good 10 minutes before asking if we wanted water. The place was full, but not bustling so I didn't understand her contempt. I have never been in an abusive restaurant situation, until now. Our food came out well over an hour later , I'd say almost an hour and a half. Another parties food was actually set in front of us and then taken away, noticing their mistake . After asking for the bill , and boxes and someone to talk to because the waitress basically THREW the to go boxes at my granddaughter. the mngr came out guns blazing and accusing us of trying to get free food .She literally said to my daughter "Dont ever F*@#!n come back here!" I'm a grandma of 6 and had 3 of my grandkids sitting there with me , I was mortified. We took all of our food to go and after all of that was hoping it would be worth it . The food was salty , what teenager won't eat a burger ? It was that bad . And the Frito pie special literally tasted like can chili .Bad bad food . Been here multiple times - read the few negative reviews on here and was shocked. Service has always been top notch...even when they're busy, we are always acknowledged and taken care of by the staff. My boyfriend and I always get a burger and fries to share and find the portions very generous. Prices are extremely fair and we never walk away feeling like we spent too much. This place could be so much more. I ordered a turkey burger and it came out on a store-bought bun and was about as thin as a piece of paper. My wife ordered a cheeseburger... Same thing, weak bun and the burger was way overcooked. I should've known when they didn't ask us how we wanted our burgers cooked that they were frozen patties. Hands down my favorite burger in NW Arkansas and may be my favorite burger anywhere! Park Side Public Burger with onion rings. Same owners as my favorite pizza place, The Rail Pizza so they know what they're doing. Everything on the menu is excellent, including the salads. This has been one of my top Go Too spots in NW Arkansas. Wish they had a Bentonville location - long drive for us, but worth it every time! read more

Downtown Rogers got another shot in the arm when Parkside Public opened. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Great beer selection too. There are some really unusual burgers on the menu that i haven't worked up the courage to try, but I plan to soon. We're lucky to have Parkside downtown. Enjoy! read more

Greeter at front was totally rude. Very condescending and pushy while our party was collecting head count. If we were holding up a crowd out the door, I would understand.....but that definitely wasn't the case!! Great atmosphere and appetizers! The fried pickle spears are the best around! Awesome happy hour prices every day durning the week. Burgers are decent like your typical burger joint but they have some unique ones that set them over the top. Only down side is their BBQ sauce, it's way too spicy. I thought it may have been the kick from the jalapeños on the burger but when I got some on the side for my fries I quickly realized it was the sauce.
