My experience is the ER when I first arrived was great but fell short fast once I got up to Labor & Delivery. Once in my gown, a nurse came into my room stating they were going to send me back downstairs to ER and that I should have never came up there (couldn't tell you the nurse's name because she never once told me it). That's when I mentioned that the ER nurse had called they gave the okay to come up to which she responded "of course they did" and rolled her eyes. As if that wasn't awesome enough, once she left the room I heard her ask the other staff if I had walked upstairs or taken a wheelchair--- walked--- "I told you she's fine". The whole experience was horrific and I am not looking forward to giving birth there in the next couple weeks. Sad that they treat expecting mother's in such a manner during such a vulnerable time. Talk about the DuPont Difference.

We used to use this facility for routine outpatient blood and urine testing. It was convenient and…read morethe staff were great. They have recently stopped offering outpatient testing. They have outsourced to Labcorp. There is only one Labcorp facility that has any hours outside of regular business hours. That facility did not appear to be open 20 minutes after their scheduled opening time on Saturday. The paper you asked staff to supply to patients says that this decision "will enhance patient care." It has done exactly the opposite. Because of the familiarity we had by regularly using your hospital for routine things, it made us more inclined to use your hospital for urgent issues. I don't know what was driving this decision. If you are trying to be like Parkview, please stop. The one thing you have going for you is that you are not Parkview.

"Patient Advocates" reviewed my complaints and told me they did nothing wrong while not addressing a single actual complaint. I can't even get my actual complaints addressed because they "won't reopen the review". Parkview doesn't care about patients or providing quality care.

I had come in for pre op screening, was sent to ER for low hemoglobin. After going to restroom, none of my monitor was re attached, B/P , O2 finger monitor not replaced, nurse call button mot given to me. Been here since 1pm and its now 3:15. Blood was drawn at initial entry. PA stared it was his first day and he would be taking care of us, said he needed a stool sample, did it with a gloved finger in rectum. Was told later that it wasn't a recommended way to get a sample due to false positives...was told getting a blood transfusion and it was ordered...after waiting a cpl more hours I finally asked when transfusion would be given. RN in charge of us stated that she was waiting for the PA to sign order. She checked and he hadn't even gotten blood type yet alone ordered the blood as obviously he couldn't because he didn't know what type to order...by this time we are ready to get out of this place, I don't understand how its still in business. Short staffed, call button doesnt get answered if they do its a very long wait. Call button not given back when returned to room, wasn't hooked back up to heart monitor, or oxygen finger monitor. Monitor beeped continually with no one checking it...when I asked if I could give mom one of her pain pills he said of course. I put call button on for water, no one came, I saw RN and asked for water so I could give mom a pain pill. She said oh you can't give pain meds even if its the patient prescribed meds they have to get it from the hospital pharmacy, she asked who said I could do that, I told her and she wasn't happy said that is something they never do. It was the most unreal experience I've ever had at a hospital. Their are quality caring people there that are understaffed. And there are people there who should not even be working there. Mother was admitted after nurse talked us into staying. We did have a good male nurse on 5th floor that night. Had a good CAT scan tech that night, accommodating to 87 yr old mother. Day shift nurse wasn't bad, but stretched thin. Do not feel safe here afraid gor colonoscopy, endoscopy ordered for next day....Dr jas good reviews but if you look on Google so did the hospital, praying for a good outcome without sny complications. Eant to get her out of this place asap.

A few staff members do not exhibit any signs of empathy and laughed during inappropriate times. Some staff were very condescending when one asked questions and even argued with family when they were just trying to advocate for my health. My family and I have never been treated this poorly in a hospital setting. I would never recommend this hospital.

She walked out and loudly shouted "GOT CREEPY CRAWLIES IN ROOM 12" With a reply of "ugh. Thats what I needed tonight" How embarrassing. I explained i had psoriasis and I had never had lice before she said "well thats not my concern anyways" She the proceeded to try to take my blood through the iv. When asking what the bloodwork was for she said "I don't know. Its just blood" I was so pissed I began to pull out my own IV. Only one nurse had the decency to talk to me, even looked at my head so he could tell them they were wrong, and reported them. That was only one bad experience. I've been seen ever since I was young for broken bones, sprains, and injuries as I played soccer for 16 years. My body got pretty beat up so I was a loyal customer:) Specifically, I would like to recognize Dr. Sassmannhausen and his staff. Dr. Sass and his staff took me through 1 ACL reconstruction in high school, another one 4 years later. Following surgery I had an accident and broke my knee cap during my last semester of college. Dr. Sass scheduled me an emergency surgery which had multiple complications. And then another surgery a year later to get rid of my hardware holding my knee cap together. His staff and him were there for me every step of the way, even in the middle of the night through my rehabilitation. It was the most painful experience of my life but FWO made it bearable and was extremely sympathetic. I'm now a healthy 25 year old who still has knobby knees but I know if I ever need an ortho doctor, Dr. Sass will my be choice no matter where I live. Nothing feels as good as being able to trust a doctor with your life Thank you FWO for everything!

When she read on her computer notes that I was filing for disability, she IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO TREAT ME LIKE GARBAGE, VERY HOSTILE, yelling, and raising her voice at me. She treated me like I'm a fake, a fraud, a con-man just trying to deceive FWO to write a letter to get sympathy for disability/SSI. She said my pain management doctor (Ken Austin MD) lied and overexaggerated my test results, and painful back symptoms, when the MRI & X-Rays proves Ken Austin was RIGHT, and ABBEY BUNNELL to be a LIAR & DEAD WRONG!!! She knows with my BULGING DISC, if I continue to be active, work, lift, and stress out my back I will keep on herniating it and it will soon rupture, THEN I'LL BE IN A WHEELCHAIR. HOW CAN ANY SANE DOCTOR FORCE SOMEONE SUFFERING IN PAIN TO GO BACK TO WORK WHEN THEY ARE IN SERIOUS DANGER OF A RUPTURE. This woman is crazy!!! When I throw my back out, I'm crawling on the floor, urinating in cups, whishing I was dead, THE PAIN IS EXCRUCIATING. For 16 years, I have always been in severe pain because of my back. I have a very painful bulging disc that could dangerously herniate and rupture with the slightest of work or stress. I have arthritis, moderate degenerative disc disease, and painful bone spurs in my back that contribute to my pain. I constantly throw my back out by bending, sneezing, stress, work, anything active, and when it's thrown out, I can barely walk, sleep, or stand for up to 3 months. Abbey Bunnell deliberately downplayed my MRI report to nothing serious so I wouldn't have a credible case for filing for SSI/disability. I currently take 13 different medications for my back, anxiety, depression, cognitive disorder, carpal tunnel, etc. Abbey said by my MRI it's ok for me to work and lift 50 to100+ pounds with no fear of a disc herniation or ruptured, WHEN THE MRI SHOWS MY SPINE IS BULGING IN THE L3/L4 region, plus I have a huge lipoma pushing against my spine above the L3 L4 region that she failed to diagnose, AND DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT AS I TRIED TO EXPLAIN TO HER. This woman has personal hatred towards me. She kept cutting me off during our conversation. She kept saying she knows many people who had surgery who went back to work, THAT IS A PERSONAL INSULTING CHEAP SHOT. I'm sorry Abbey, I don't want to be hooked to narcotics for the rest of my life, and have metal plates, cages, and screws in my back THAT WILL CAUSE ME MORE PAIN, it's ridiculous! Abbey Bunnell has revealed an even darker side of FWO that no patient should ever see due to her Incompetence. 10 minutes of arguing with this ignorant, hateful woman, and not once did she ever tell me why my back is always in pain, and why I keep throwing my back out so easily, abnormally. She had 2 of my MRIs, 5 X-rays, test results, footnotes, diagnosis, and tons of references, BUT SHE STILL FAILED TO TELL ME ANYTHING face to face about my back pain and problems!!! I thought she was a professional, she is a liar, she hated me from day one, she has a very smart, rude, belittling mouth, she knows what hurts. She was deliberately withholding this critical medical information from me about my back so I wouldn't have a credible case for getting SSI/Disability. THAT IS CRIMINAL ON HER PART. I can't stand people like that, I HOPE THEY FIRE HER, she is fake!!! She was plotting against me. MATTER OF FACT: She said: My back was perfectly fine, she's seen worse backs on a 46-year-old, I don't need disability, I need to get a job. I said: what about the arthritis in my back, she said everybody has arthritis in their back, I SAID: what about the bone spurs, the bulging disc, the painful lipoma by my spine, the foraminal protrusion and facet degeneration, the frequent throwing my back out, and the aggravating pain I'm always in etc? Abbey said: EVERYBODY HAS THAT PROBLEM TOO. WHAT A LIAR, this woman is hating on me, she hates my guts, she's trying to ruin me. I have a (NO EXP) handicap placard, prescribed medications for all my conditions, a walker, quad-cane, etc, all prescribed by my doctors. I WILL NEVER LET THIS EVIL WOMAN ABBEY BUNNELL TELL ME WHAT I AM NOT!!! Please, investigate her crimes and fire her.
