Let me begin by stating that I am not the type of person who takes to social media for every little thing. On the rare occasion I do write a review, it is either for an exceptional experience or for a horrendous one. This review is my honest opinion and evaluation of my experience leasing a 2017 Honda Accord EX on May 27, 2017. It is my sincere hope it will be of help to others. THIS IS HOW CAR BUYING AND LEASING SHOULD BE! If you are looking for a stress-free and pressure-free transaction call Brandelle Pickney. Together Brandell and sales manager, Li, met our every expectation. For the first time EVER we were able to get exactly what we wanted for the price we wanted to pay. And, be sure to have Eric do your financials; you will be in and out in no time! This was THE BEST car buying/leasing experience we have ever had. For my sister and I, it is always uncomfortable walking into any car dealership. We always felt we should bring a man with us so we would be taken seriously; I mean, our money is green too, right?. And after having purchased and leased numerous vehicles in the past and always feeling like we left money on the table, followed by two disastrous experiences with Herb Chambers, (and I strongly suggest to everyone to stay away from the Herb Chambers Toyota dealership in Brighton), I never wanted to enter another dealership or do business with another slippery, chauvinistic, and misleading car salesman and their double-talking sales manager ever again. I have to say this was not the case at Prime Honda. Brandelle and his co-workers really do want to sell you a vehicle, and they want to do it on your terms and not theirs. They do everything possible to give you what you are looking for at a price that fits your budget. And they do it without having you spend all day at the dealership! THERE IS NO NEED TO LOOK ANY FURTHER. This is where you want to purchase or lease your next vehicle. We were never hassled or bullied or intimidated as we were at Herb Chambers. We were never talked down to, our intelligence was never insulted, and we were put at ease with Brandelle's laid back, professional manner. We felt valued! Brandelle was upfront with us and he clearly treated us as human beings and not sales figures. He is a seasoned professional who provided us with outstanding service. I would also like to ad that Brandelle had the utmost respect for our time. In my experience, this type of treatment, honesty, respect, and fairness is noticeably absent from most car salesmen and sales managers; it was refreshing to find it at Prime Honda, (which is probably why they are so busy). I highly recommend Brandelle, Li, Eric and Prime Honda to all. We plan to return to these fabulous people for our next vehicle and we are recommending Prime Honda to all of our friends, as we know they will be treated with decency and respect and their business will be valued. Can you believe Brandelle even called us the day after we took delivery to find out how we liked the vehicle and to insure everything was as it should be? We were shocked and pleasantly surprised that a salesman would follow up with us AFTER he made the sale! Now that's a level of service I never experienced from any dealer. I would like to add that even though we were dealing with all men on this particular transaction - and we all know men are not the most detail-orientated beings - nothing fell through the cracks. My only criticism centers around the fact that it took several phone calls before someone at Prime sent the "Dealer Package" to our insurance company. And, even though I specifically requested to be notified after the package was complete and sent, I never received a phone call from Prime. My insurance agent was the one who notified me she had received the information. Other than this one glitch, the service they provided was awesome. We feel as though we have known these people for quite sometime, even though we just met. We were so comfortable with Brandelle; we have made an amazing new friend. Quite honestly, I have only good things to say about Prime Honda. Six years ago I leased a Honda Civic from a competitor down the street, one of those places where you think you've made a deal, then they bring in a manager for no real reason at all other than to make you feel overwhelmed, and then when you think you finally have the deal you go into the finance office where it is likely to change. Oh, and did I say they make you write a check before you go into the finance office, just to make you feel like you won't have a choice to back out when the numbers change? Three years ago I decided to check out Prime for my next Honda. The sales part of the deal was much less pressured than the competitor and I got what I felt was a good deal. All the people involved felt like 'real' people, not sales people. Perhaps even better was the experience over the last three years with their service department. They are open almost all of the time, you can drive right in without an appointment (into a covered area so you never have to step out into the rain or snow), they have a nice waiting area where you can watch tv, go on the internet, or just sit, and they also have free coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Often they also have fresh popcorn or chocolate chip cookies (they have a little oven they make them in). Oh, the smell of those cookies, it's enough to take anyone off a diet. Last week I went in for my newest car, and I am thrilled. Prime has switched to a 'one set price' model. I was concerned that I'd think the price wasn't low enough and that I'd get some pressure from them telling me how good the deal was. The fact was, it was a low price, and as much as I was sure they might be pulling one over on me, they offered me a lease with no money up front (none!), Honda paid the first payment, and my monthly payment actually went down by almost $20 for the exact same car. Well, of course, I figured things would change when I went into the finance office, and it wasn't until I saw all the paper work with the same exact numbers that they had promised, that I realized I had the most fabulous deal. I was a very happy camper at the end of the day. (By the way, I had been considering a Hyundai Elantra. That car, which is very nice, would have cost me almost $1500 up front and come with a higher monthly payment. I didn't even bother going back there, as I knew they couldn't come close to the deal Prime Honda offered me.) I walked in with my old Honda, and I left with my new one. Tomorrow I go in to get my registration and inspection stickers. I'll be sure to say hi to Riley Melo, Weston Paglia, and Cos Cosimano, all the people who helped me. THANKS, GUYS! read more

Please pass along the wonderful experience Carly and I had at Prime Honda. Carly and I first met with Chris Giroux at the beginning of this year. Carly was looking to trade in her 2010 CRV and thinking of buying a used Honda sedan. Chris took his time explaining the trade in value and the cost of buying a used vehicle. I believe we test drove (3) vehicles. After some discussion about used vehicles, Chris mentioned leasing options. After Chris explained in great detail what Carly could get for a lease, Carly was able to lease a 2012 Honda Civic for three years. We have never leased a vehicle in our family so this was a first for the Cammon Family! Carly is very happy with the lease and credits Chris with his knowledge and presentation of the leasing option. Carly and I left Prime Honda that day very impressed with Chris Giroux! I have been thinking of purchasing a new vehicle for myself. My 2003 Ford Exp. has served me well but, it is time to start looking. The first person I thought of was Chris Giroux at Prime Honda. I contacted Chris earlier this week, re-introduced myself and let him know of my desire to buy a car. The next day, I received a call from Chris about a 2012 Pilot that had been marked down. I met with Chris on Sat. 6/16 to take a look at this vehicle and get my Explorer appraised for trade-in. Chris ran the numbers for a purchase and arranged to have my vehicle appraised. Just like Carly, I was thinking purchase all the way. However, that last year of college for Michael was in the back of my mind. Because of Carly's leasing experience, I asked Chris to run some numbers for buying and leasing. The leasing option fit my situation for the present time and I know what my buyout cost will be in three years when the college bills will be complete. Chris Giroux is the reason Carly and I had such a great experience at Prime Honda. Chris demonstrated a great knowledge of Honda products and options available to consumers. He showed great communication skills and demeanor when dealing with us. He went the extra mile to make sure we had every question answered. He is a great addition to the Prime Honda Team! Just purchased a 2014 Honda Odyssey from Prime. It was quick and straight forward, no run around. After searching for a the EX-L w/ Nav in obsidian blue for over 2 weeks I almost gave up. I had gone to several local dealers close to my area that quoted me great prices, but no one had the model and color I wanted. They wanted me to come down, test drive the mini van, put down a deposit. Then they would go to try and find a vehicle... but it turns out they couldn't locate that specific model/color and would try to sell me on another color. I searched on cars.com to see if I could find that specific model/color and noticed that Herb Chambers in Burlington had the exact model/color that was just listed. I called them for a price and was quoted a higher price than other dealers. They said they would price match, but once they found out they were the only dealer that had that model/color, the price went up $1k. I told them to keep it, I'll wait for another one at another dealership. I ended going to Prime through a friend's referral who recently purchased a vehicle there through Nolan Ha. I spoke to Nolan about the vehicle I was looking for and explained to him that I had been to other dealers already and knew what to expect for my trade in and the price I was willing to pay (at this point I was open to getting the Touring model also). He didn't tell me to come down to the dealership, instead he said to wait and see if his Manager could allocate a vehicle first. He called me back and surprisingly said they should be able to get the Touring model in obsidian blue by end of the week. By Friday afternoon the car had arrived at the dealership and got a call from Nolan to come down to get the paper work started. I went in Saturday morning for about 3 1/2 hrs and drove home in the new car. This was getting all the paper work processed, trade-in evaluated, financing, and new car prepped. Couldn't have been a smoother experience. Nolan was great because he listened first, then reacted to my situation instead of trying to sell me by the book. He told me the numbers ahead of time, kept me in the loop and delivered on what he said. Not sure what else I could have asked for. Thanks Nolan and Prime Honda! read more

My wife and I previously owned a 2008 BMW 335xi and as you would have guessed after so many miles things started to break down. Prior to the warranty expiration the car was great but it was only after the warranty had expired that we experienced complications. Yearly maintenance costs compounded with the extraordinary parts and labor costs was just one of many reasons we needed to trade the car in for something for economically practical. Having a 1 year old we were in the market for an SUV. The experience I had at Prime Honda goes above and beyond anything I had ever experienced. For a number of years I along with my wife have been in the customer service industry. We understand and can appreciate great customer service as we are expected to do the same in our respected jobs. I never once felt pressured to "buy a car today" as I did with other dealers and their sales personnel. A close friend had referred Prime Honda to me and not before long I received a very personable phone call from NiMan at Prime Honda. After speaking to him briefly I made an appointment to come in to test drive the new 2015 Honda CRV EX. The test drive was great; I would HIGHLY recommend the CRV to anybody looking to purchase a new vehicle or trade in. NiMan, our sales consultant, was absolutely wonderful. He is very knowledgeable, courteous, honest and HIGHLY professional. He explained everything in full detail disclosing all information. I never felt anything but honesty coming from him; this is a total contrast in comparison to most car sale consultants. Chris, the general manager, was awesome to deal with as well. He gave us a very fair value for the trade in and could not have been more accommodating to the both of us. I have nothing but high praises for these guys. Everything was done in a timely manner and when it was time to pick up the vehicle, NiMan made sure everything was up to his standards before he handed the keys over. Needless to say we bought the CRV that very day and if we were ever in the market to purchase another vehicle this dealership is where we will be going. After much research, I decided upon the new Honda Ridgeline. I set up appointments at four Honda dealerships. Prime was my first. My first contact was with a young guy named Andrew. He was polite and smart. I let him know from the get go my plan and that they shouldn't bother playing me. He didn't. He went and got the finance guy, Steve. This guy has personality and should be running for office. Real good guy. 45 minutes later I was out the door with a price. I spent the next 36 hours dealing with competitors. It wasn't pleasant. I spent four hours and rec'ed five "best prices", from one of the competitors. That four hours and 5 best prices got me 200 under Prime's asking. I was less than pleased with that experience. So, I went back to Andrew and Mr. Landers. Told them it didn't matter if they could match, I was buying from Prime. Prime matched the offer. I have to say, the product sells itself, but these two guys made it happen. Kudos to them. Prime Honda, you should make them the face of the place. Just a footnote: 2nd day out I had to return the vehicle because the tailgate mechanism was defective. It ended up being in the shop for two days, and I have to return next week when the parts come in. Some people would be pretty pissed. Young guy there named Jeff, who just started with Prime in August, was extremely apologetic. He got me a rental. He called to update me. He has done everything he can to make a bad situation good. It should be noted that I bought a floor model. The mechanic said that though my car only had 20 miles on it at the time of purchase, the tailgate, because of its uniqueness and the fact that everyone wanted to play with it, had a hundred thousand miles on it. Next Wednesday, I hope to have my truck with a working tailgate. I look forward to putting 200 thousand miles on this vehicle. The experience got me a good ride and some new friends. The fact that I even remember the names of the people I worked with over at Prime Honda is a big deal for me! Anthony L. was the best! He really took into consideration what I was looking for, and gave me no bull****; just facts and suggestions. He was genuine and I had no doubt that he truly wanted to make me happy, not just make money off me. He gave me his personal phone number so that I could contact him with any questions (however dumb) that I had! This was my first time leasing a car, and the entire process went very smoothly. I got a great discount, plus a college grad discount to save a bunch of money! the car is beautiful and they have stayed in touch to make sure I have no problems. Mark, the manager on the floor, is nice but kind of dopey. I'm not really sure how else to describe it- he just seemed to spend a lot of excess time blabbing about himself or trying to "sell" me on a car I was already "sold" on! Very friendly and accommodating but I preferred to work with Anthony because the process moved more quickly and he really knew his stuff. Mark allowed me to take the car home for the night to show my family and win their approval, which was awesome of him! Steve helped us with the financial paperwork in the back, and he's a total BOSS! He's great. Awesome attitude, sense of humor, but serious in showing me what he feels is worth the money and what wasn't. He was realistic in taking my budget and needs into account. I will definitely be returning to Prime Honda of Boston to service my vehicle, or in the future if I plan to purchase from Honda again. Over the past several months, I have contemplated trading my family vehicle, 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE, for a used sport utility vehicle. The Sienna has served my family well, providing adequate space for my boys sports equipment, a comfortable seating and luxury drive. Parting with my vehicle was a big decision, especially when you have no payments to consider. However, the decision to part with my vehicle was less difficult after meeting with Kamiya (Miya) Flakes. Miya was informed of my interest in a used sports utility vehicle, and when Prime Honda acquired a 2013 BMW X1--in excellent condition--in a trade she knew the highly sought after vehicle would not last long so she reached out to me quickly. I was impressed with Miya's resourcefulness. After test driving the X1, Miya spent some time reviewing the model's features with me. Keep in mind that Miya's expertise and knowledge is in Honda vehicles. This illustrated to me that she was not just eager to make a sale but ensured her customer (me) was well informed about the vehicle. After expressing my interest in purchasing the vehicle, she coordinated all the activities; worked with her used car manager to negotiate the best trade in value and compared my bank and Honda financing information with the finance manager, making sure I received the most desirable rate. It was apparent that Miya had great synergy with her team, allowing her to close the transaction fairly quick--a very painless process. I just came home with my brand new 2012 Honda Accord Coupe and I am beyond happy with the outstanding service that my family and I received from Chris Giroux from Prime Honda in West Roxbury. Chris approached my mother and I after he found us creeping around in the car inventory offering his kind advice as he stood back and watched me hop from vehicle to vehicle. I told him my three requirements of my car which were that there had to be sunroof, for the car to be black, and for it to get great gas mileage. He took my mother and I zigzagging through some cars to come across this beautiful two door accord, black on black, with a sunroof and amazing gas mileage rating! I instantly fell in love and knew this would be my car. I walked into Prime never thinking I would fall in love with a car so quickly. Chris listened to my requirements along with my price point and found me a stylish car that I will have for years. After a test drive we went back to his desk where we crunched some numbers and came to a decision that later in the week I will be coming back to trade in my car and be walking out with this beautiful Honda Accord Coupe. Chris and I stayed in contact all week by email and phone where he would give me the updates of when my car would be ready for pickup. The transaction was made smooth and quickly. I was in a couple of months ago to buy a new car after having been in an accident which totaled the car I had just bought in March from Boch Honda. I completely did not look forward to going through the process of buying a second car in the same year. Unfortunately, I started by going back to the same dealership I had purchased my first car with this year. They were completely rude, demeaning, insulting and downright awful. Never mind the fact that this was the 5th or 6th car we had purchased between family members and friends in the last 8 years; my mistake to think I would have been treated like a loyal customer. I was ready to go home, but luckily a co-worker of mine who was with my daughter and myself suggested we go to Prime Honda and see what they could do. As we entered the doors of Prime Honda we were greeted by Brandelle P. Unfortunately, Brandelle had to hear about our completely displeasure with Boch. He was so completely laid back, that we began to relax quite quickly and began to enjoy the buying experience. I did in fact sign for a car that night. Brandelle P. was quite pleasant to work with. He was very helpful, and more than willing to go the distance for us. If anything good came out of this day, it was ending up with Brandelle as our salesperson. I would recommend Brandelle to anyone. Just a heads up to used car shoppers to check the small stuff very carefully prior to leaving the dealership, especially if you live far enough away that you're not able to go back for minor issues. I bought a used Subaru that was new enough (and expensive enough) that I would have expected things to have been checked thoroughly. But there were a bunch of small but irritating issues that should have been attended to but weren't, nor were they mentioned to me: The car I bought had locking lug nuts, but there was no key for them anywhere in the vehicle (yes, we looked everywhere), so my mechanic had to smash them off and replace them with standard lug nuts. Additionally, I was pulled over on my way home from the dealership with the car for having a headlight out (fortunately I received just a warning and not a ticket), and when I got the car inspected a few days later, our mechanic discovered that both of the fog lights were out too. The final minor thing that I would have expected to have been replaced was the rear wiper blade, which was either worn or torn to the point of being nearly useless. Clearly I share the blame for not having checked these things carefully before leaving, but it wouldn't have occurred to me that the dealership wouldn't have been thorough. Mechanically, the car has held up well, but given that it was a low-mileage car that was still under factory warranty, I expected that. read more

I went in to Prime Honda to lease a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0T, and Ricky Ulysse (Sales & Leasing Consultant) was assigned to help me. From the moment I met Ricky, he was very polite and he paid careful attention to everything I said. Ricky could tell that I'd done my research and that I knew exactly what I wanted, and he didn't try to change my mind. Ricky and Lenny Goldwasser (General Sales Manger) worked very hard to come up with a great deal, which was very close to what I was looking for. Jeff Craig (Finance Manager) could see that I would probably have to wait quite a while to get my paperwork processed, so instead of going home at the end of his long shift, he stepped in and helped me right away. He processed all the paperwork very quickly and efficiently, minimizing the time that I had to wait. I scheduled with Ricky that I would turn in my existing leased 2015 Honda Accord, and pick the new one up, at 5:00pm on Friday, the day after we had a big snow storm. Ricky let me know that the new car would be ready at 3:00pm, which actually worked better for me than 5:00pm. When I arrived at 3:00pm, Ricky processed the lease turn in very quickly and efficiently. He then spent some time with me in my new Accord, and explained how everything worked - it's much more high tech than the 2015 Accord which I turned in. After that, I was on my way - a very happy and satisfied customer!!! read more

Let me preface with the fact that our last new car buying experience did not go so well (2003 Honda Odyssey). Twelve years later, my husband still bore a grudge so we wanted to go someplace new (to us). We tried an employee buying service, which printed off a certificate for the exact model configuration we wanted and identified the price we should pay. The service also sent Prime Honda the particulars. When we arrived at Prime, Eric, our sales person, confirmed what we wanted, explained they didn't have that exact model on the lot at the moment, but showed us a similar version for a test drive. No upsell, no games. When we signed the paperwork, we were shown three options for warranty and self-starter, with each one explained to us fully. No pressure applied to consider any of them. My 2015 Pilot arrived on the Monday holiday as promised, and I got a call to confirm its arrival and coordinate my pickup. Eric explained once more what I needed to do with the insurance company, which already had received all it needed from Prime. When we picked up the car, it had the roof rails we'd added and a full tank of gas. Eric gave us a tutorial on the many bells and whistles (and assured me I could call him in case/when I forgot!). Awesome buying experience! If you've bought elsewhere and are leery, try out Prime and I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

I am writing a review because Eric and Jim were great salesman and I wanted to thank them for their efforts and kindness. They were fair, honest, helpful and made the sales transaction as easy, fast and painless as possible. I am happy with the car and price and service. I would highly recommend them. Eric even gave me a ride home and personally picked up my transfer plates. Jim honored the TrueCar pricing without much of the usual back and forth tactics. First, I just want to say how much I do not like the tactics of car dealerships in general. I had MANY bad experiences (not here though) so I was prepared for the worst. It is unfortunate that buying a new car is so painful and has many dishonest tricks. My advice is to do as much research online as possible: know the true value of the car and all the options and incentives available. Lastly, i have found that as a woman, I am treated differently...bring a male friend to help you with this purchase. The car salesmen have much more practice in the negotiation than you do...and the world of car buying is not regulated by fair business ethics. With this in mind, I was very wary but pleasantly surprised with how the Honda dealership in West Roxbury helped me and treated me professionally. Thank you for your courtesy and kindness. My recent vehicle purchasing experience was great considering prior visits to many other auto dealerships. I was treated with courtesy and respect and the entire process was pleasant. As an educated consumer I was well prepared and informed about the type of vehicle I desired and the options I wanted included as well as the price I was willing to pay. My sales associate, Brandelle, was very professional and willing to provide me with all of the information I requested which enabled me to purchase my Honda CRV at an agreed upon price. He was also very attentive offering me something to drink and some freshly baked cookies which helped to quench my appetite. We all know that the car buying process can be very time consuming as well as mentally and physically exhausting reviewing the material, contract, etc. Following my purchase I had additional needs in regards to my ability to operate some of the new features such as Bluetooth. I called Brandelle and he advised me to come in and gave me a refresher course in operating the features (He went over this with me when I picked up the car but I guess I had a "senior moment", lol. I usually like reading reviews, but have never posted one, but felt this was very necessary. My husband and I did a lot of research before settling on what kind of car we wanted. I had an 8 year old car and he had a 13 year old van, and it was time to consolidate and upgrade. After much research, dealership visits and test drives, we settled on a 2016 Honda CR-V. We worked with Adam Gianan, who was - hands down - the best salesperson we've dealt with during this entire experience. He was patient, down to earth, and listened to our concerns and wants/needs. We ended up going back to Prime three times with quotes from different dealerships, and they were able to meet/beat every time. Our last quote before going back to Prime the last time was from Boch, and I must say they were the rudest people to try and do business with and I would never recommend that place to my worst enemy. They basically told us if we didn't take their deal, we were not welcome back (who does that?!). We went back to Prime after this experience with Boch and sealed the deal, not only for the price but for the customer experience. You don't feel pressured, they don't try to upsell you on unnecessary items, and they make you feel like a person, not a pawn in a game.
