But he went on and on about how I was being a dick and what I said was something that completely pissed him off. I'm not entirely sure what I said that would elicit such a negative response, but even if he was irked by it, there were dozens of better ways to handle the situation. Perhaps politely saying it's policy to card everybody that looks under 35 or just admitting he doesn't remember me. I wouldn't have been offended. But I can safely say I will no longer be returning and will be taking the extra 2 minutes to walk across the street to CP Liquors to make my purchases from now on.
