I have been a contracted customer for over 25 years . The last few years have been unsatisfactory. They come without an appointment so you don't know if anything is being inspected ( termite) This week I received an inspection report stating it was done at a certain time . It was not . I was home in view of one of the areas to be inspected and no one was here . Secondly all my bait stations were untouched : some are totally or partially covered and I could see they were not inspected . I even removed one and saw that the bait was not replaced . I will be canceling my contract immediately and filing a report with BBB . read more

I basically wasted over $500 on this company for them to do some mice control for me. You can see what was promised and they only did half the work. They basically set some mouse traps and told me to patch up some small holes outside. Uhhh... what am I paying you for then? Isn't that part of my $500 dollars. The holes are very small outside if those are not minor holes I don't know what are. What a waste of time and money. I can't say enough about Stephen! I had bites on my arm after going to a wedding in Jersey. I went to urgent care they said they were bed bug bites. I freaked out and had a total breakdown. Threw out everything including my bed, bought a new bed. Called a bunch of different exterminators. Now before you read any further. I read all these reviews on all these places. The better majority of them are complete scams. I went through 2 exterminators that were total jokes and scam artist, but had fantastic reviews that were clearly bought. I called parkway, honestly to get yet another walk through on the house. Stephen was honest and awesome. He look everywhere and couldn't find a bug. He looked at my "bites" and really pushed for me to get a second opinion before I waste a single penny more of "fighting" these bed bugs. The same day I went to an emergency dermatologist....low and behold it was never ever bed bugs!!! It was a severe allergic reaction to poison oak. Stephen put my mind at ease, and even left traps just in case but said your not going to catch anything to begin with lol. So thankful for honest, and good hearted professionals! read more

This is our second time using Parkway. Previously a Squirrel crawled into the vent on top of the house. This time I found an insect nest which later turned out to be a wasp nest in my crawl space. The technician called before he came and arrived timely. He identified himself, donned his protective gear and got down to business. I pointed out the reason for the service call and he confirmed wasp nest in my attic crawl space. He removed the nest and treated the area. Once complete, he advised of what precautions we should take as far as interacting with treated areas and shared his findings. Very professional. read more

I had an appointment today with Parkway Pest Services since we found insects in my daughters room. We saved an insect to show our specialist. Steve was our specialist and easily identified the insect. Today was a consultation. When asked if he could do the treatment today, he immediately called the office and was able to accommodate me. Steve explained everything he was doing and was so thorough. He was here about an hour. He will come back to do another 2 treatments. I can't say enough about this company. Needed quick help with a bug infestation in my dad's house. He is bedridden, has 24hr care, and can't leave his home. They made it sound like they could act quickly. They said they could quickly do everything needed, but that turned out not to be the case. They sent a tech to "consult" and evaluate the situation, for a sizeable sum. We asked about using a treatment whereby the our family could stay in the house during the treatment. The office people said there was a natural product that could be used where you could stay in the house (each time you call their office, you get a different person that ends up having a different answer). But the tech said he wasn't sure about staying in the house, or the effectiveness of the product the office said they could use. First they said they could do the treatment right away, following a consult, but then the issue of staying in the house during treatment was unsure, and so was quick service. The office person disagreed with what the tech told us. They said that their staff would have to have a conference and would get right back to us with an answer. Meanwhile the patient and the aides are getting bitten like crazy. We never heard back from anyone. So much for commitments and customer care!! At that point, we didn't trust their judgement or promises and wanted to go with a more professional & reliable company. It's too bad but we had to pay them up front for the $195 +tax "consult fee"), even though the so called "consult" ended up being total confusion with the office staff fighting with the tech over what the real treatment answer was, and getting nowhere. We normally don't go out of our way to write a review but this one surely warranted a bad review. The good news is that we found a reputable pest service that we feel was knowledgeable and much more responsive, with no confusion. There are many, many, firms out there that do pest control. You can make up your own mind but we would never even try to do business with them again, based on what we just experienced. Maybe they'll finally call us back when they see this write-up? Horrible company to do business with. I made an appointment for the time frame 8 am-12 pm. At 12:00 I called and asked when I could expect their technician. I was told he called in sick ! Nobody thought to call his appointments or to give them to someone else? What kind of way is that to do business? If I pay you for your services, I expect you to respect my time. No apologies, nothing. I was under contract with them for a year for ants. They were never able to control them. They claim to have baited the rodent traps outside every 3 months. I never saw them do it, nor an invoice to let me know they were there. I would never recommend them to anybody! I've posted my review previously and surprisingly it was removed. Horrible service. Not many people are paying there bills during this virus. My husband got billed on his credit card for service that we didn't ask for . We are going to a different company . 5 stars across the board. Very knowledgeable staff and two very nice guys. Got the job done. Had the seasonal camel crickets in the house. Seen majority of them in the basement but then I started seeing them on the main floor and even one in the upstairs bathroom. I can't stand bugs at all and I am petrified of some of them, So before I put the house up for sale I decided to give parkway pest a shot. Since they came I have not seen one cricket anywhere in the house. They absolutely did the job and I cannot be anymore thankful to them. An absolute scam, They get you to sign a reoccurring payment. They come once every three months. They came to my house yesterday in a torrential down pour and put a note on my door that they provided a service. They did not set up an appointment, they did not come inside my house. Well I had high hopes after reading the reviews. Here's what happened... found squirrel droppings in the attic and called Parkway Pest. They sent a tech out who put up traps, and about 5 days later found there was no activity and took them down. I had asked in the beginning that no matter what happens I'd like them to patch the roof temporarily so that no further animals could get in once the job was complete. They agreed, and at the end of the job when I asked if they would patch the hole I was told that this would be additional money. Keep in mind, I had paid them $500 for doing essentially nothing except placing traps and taking them down. The least they could have done is temporarily fix the hole until I get a builder to complete a more permanent solution. So the punch line, I paid a lot of money for very little work to be done and they didn't even have the decency to include patching a known defect in the house exterior. I highly recommend this company! Before Parkway came in I was spending hundreds of dollars to get rid of a roach infestation we had. I had another exterminator come in 3 times within a month and we will were seeing hundreds(not even lying) daily! Finally we were so frustrated at the lack of work and the previous exterminator not returning our calls that we finally called Parkway, and I am so glad we did! Customer service with Shoshana was pleasant and she was very helpful and understanding to my crazy work schedule and the fact I have 2 children. Within 3 days someone was at my place ready to work (Shoshana wanted to schedule me in for the next day of our call, but I couldn't.) So 3 days later Kevin came, took a look and was able to easily assess and fix me situation! He told us what the previous exterminator did wrong, how he was going to fix it, and assured us it would not harm my children. Without us even telling him, he went to what he called the "hot spot" and went to work--didn't happen with the previous exterminator. ! After he was done, he set more traps, told us what to do and gave us his number to call if anything. Within 3 days we were virtually roach free, something we hadn't experienced in over a year! We called to have a follow up because we occasionally saw a few straggles, and with no problem, another appointment booked and Kevin came back. I was looking for a pest service company that would help me with my mom's ant issues!! They answered their phones and addressed my concerns. Ruthanne promptly scheduled an appointment and they were at my mom's front door in 24hrs! The technician Chris was knowledgeable and took the time to explained everything he was going to do and what effects I should see. After he answered my 100 questions (I'm not joking) he worked diligently inside and outside the house (and he didn't care that I followed him around! haha). Although he did the right thing and chose Parkway, he neglected to send us the report that parkway submitted to him. One phone call and 30 seconds later we had the report in out hands. I am a real customer of parkway pest, The reason I say that is because I have so many wonderful things to say about them that you may not believe this is true. MY son had an awful infestation of bed bugs in his apartment, The landlord was not very cooperative until we discovered Parkway. THey couldn't have been more compassionate and kind and caring. THey came right away each time we had them out. THey were caring, came on time, and followed through with their future plans. I am constantly amazed how wonderful the entire staff is. THey are friendly, all of them are extremely knowledgeable , and each staff member is aware of the situation. I would totally recommend them to any one that has unwelcome critters in there home. We tried to hire Parkway Pest Services to handle a moth problem in our home. We had to call 3 times for Ruth to get back to us. It appears that 2 of the owners live not far from my home. I asked for the first appointment of the day and agreed there should be a 1/2 hour window to allow for traffic. Ruth was to speak to the owner but never got back to me . I then called back and spoke with Shoshanah who seemed to be well equipped to handle the call since Ruth blew me off. She assured me she would be back to me the next day. She even gave me her cell number to call if she did not honor her commitment. Tried calling that number 3 times and no answer, of course. When I finally chased her down at the office 3 days later she indicated the owners would only give me a 4 hour window even though they live only 20 minutes away from my home. I explained I worked and that a 1 hour window, to allow for traffic, was fine but I could not commit an entire morning. I guess this company is not interested in new business. Not sure why my husband initially contacted them in the first place since their offices are in Long Island but Ruth said that was not a problem since the owners live so close to me. Never heard of owners not willing to bend over backwards for a new relationship. read more

We found some bugs we werent sure of. We called a few local companies to check it out. Out of the companies who came, these were the only ones who didnt seem to be trying to sell us something. They informed us before they came that they would come out for an inspection and for the cost of the inspection they would give us the information about the problem. It seemed reasonable this way since nothing in life is free. The others who came for "free" immediately wanted to sell us a "program" of pest control. They didnt seem too concerned in finding out what our problem was. They said their programs would handle it. The Parkway service man was not a salesman. He knew what he was looking at, and gave us some suggested course of actions. We didnt feel pressured into having to get some extensive program on our home for a year. I feel that it was worth the investment in the initial service call to find out exactly what we were dealing with. I felt I was paying for their knowledge and expertise. He wound up making some suggestions on what we could do to reduce our problem. The other guys were more sales focused and cared more about signing us up then the reason we called them. Nothing in life is free. Someone who offers to come to your house for free is going to have to make money somehow so I'd rather pay for the information on the issue than get a "free" inspection that gave me no information and pressured me into something I may not have needed. Thanks Parkway for your honesty. Its not easy to find people who are honest these days. I recommend you to all my friends but I hope not to have to see you too often. read more
