Rented a small office in Queens Village area. Suddenly, the place was overrun by flies. I'm talking more than 50 flying around. That's what happens when the door in the back is right by a dumpster, and that door ain't even sealed well. Called up Bug Techs, and someone answered the phone right away. They asked their questions and asked how soon would I like someone out there. I said as soon as possible. They said how about in 30 minutes. I said great. They quoted me $175 to do the job. Last pest control company wanted $450 (big one in Long Island City, thx for the highballing me). They actually came out in 30 minutes, they spayed, all flies were dead in minutes. I had a nest of yellow jackets under the siding of my house. Bit me and the two kids. The technician who came asked where I noted them coming into the house. He then went over that area carefully as well as the entire front showing me other points of entry before filling them. For the past six weeks they have been treating the front of my home for rats . There were some rats living under the bushes in front of my house . If I could give this company NO STARS, I would. The problem is simple: They will quote you one price when you initail call and set up an appointment. Then when thye get to the job, they will raise the price. I was quotes a price of $225.00. The day of the fumigation, he said the price was now $275.00 When I told him that I would pay the jacked-up fee, but I would never do business with him again, he called five minutes later saying that the price was $325. THEIR WORD MEANS NOTHING. Expect to be asked to pay a higher fee than was quoted to you. They are thieves. read more

I reviewed this company recently, but for some reason, Yelp listed my state as being in California, whereas I live in NYC. Bug Techs is an unsavory company. You cannot trust their prices because they will quote you one price and then when they arrive to do the job, they will jack up the price. Their word means nothing. I actually received a texted message from them today, after they discoered the bad review. They offered me a $50 discount IF I WERE TO REMOVE THE BAD REVIEW. I told them that I never wanted to do business with them ever again, and also told them where they could stick that $50 discount. These guys are great! I had a major slob roommate who invited extra guests (pests) and when I couldn't get a hold of the pest control company I used in the past, I panicked. My new roommate was moving in and I wanted the entire apt fumigated for a clean start. Sirfraz was the first person to respond to me and also the most fairly priced.
