When I politely mentioned that I hadn't ordered an appetizer and was very hungry, asking if my pizza could come out, he snapped, "You will get your order when all the others come out. I'm not going to push ahead your order for that." The "owner" then had the audacity to lecture us, raising his voice and telling us, "this is what I mean with you guys," because we had adjusted our seats at the beginning of the night. When I finally asked for the bill to escape the situation, he brought me someone else's check. When I pointed out the error, he blamed us again, laughed in our faces, and scoffed. When we told him we wanted to speak to someone above him, he condescendingly told us, "You're not in this industry, you don't know." Save your money and go somewhere where the staff, and the owner actually value their customers. Gustavo is unprofessional, disrespectful, and has no business being in the hospitality industry. The flour had a a pretty good floury taste, but the body of the pizza could be a bit more well done. My favourite part of the meal was the Bucatini All'Amatriciana pasta. It's an interesting pasta texture that I've never experience before; clearly homemade. The guanciale gave the pasta a nice umami taste. However, the above average food was not enough to overcome the unwelcoming feeling that hung over us. One thing I forgot to mention is before the meal, I had a couple pieces of garbages from my kids that I wanted to dispose of. The washroom had no garbage bin and on the way out they had a box that resembled garbage bins in a fast food restaurant.
