This original Parlor Doughnuts shop is a must visit! I love that it is an old bank and they keep almost all of its charm, even the teller windows! Service was quick and friendly. They had multiple places to sit even on their upstairs balcony section (used for the old bank). We got their pistachio raspberry and sandy beach doughnuts. Their croissant like texture makes it flakey and airy. Yummy and not too sweet. They also had multiple types of lattes. I tried the seasonal pistachio which was yummy and didn't taste "fake". You definitely have to check this place out if you're in this area. It's such a cute shop. I've never been to a doughnut shop that looked like this before. There's also cute items you can shop around for. We came around breakfast time, and it seems that it can get pretty busy, but it seems like people are more so in and out. I tried one of their doughnuts and it wasn't bad at all. I also tried their sausage biscuit sandwich and it came with an egg in it. The tech time was pretty quick for this one. The biscuit was very soft. I was pretty impressed with their biscuit. In all, I had a pretty good experience here. The girl at the counter was pretty nice, the tech time was good, the place was clean, and the decor itself was so cute. read more

WOW this was such a find! First off, the space looks like it was once an old bank, all of the detail in this shop is incredible. Second, the service is top notch. I asked about the availability of a flavor (because the tray was empty) and they made it for me right then and there! I was so thrilled! Anyway I bought a french toast and a coconut cream. Visited Parlor while waiting on my family to get done with an appointment. Coffee was good. I had the no glaze donut bacon, egg, and cheese. The donut is actually a croissant - buttery and delicious. The egg looked like it had been microwaved but it was pretty good. The decor and atmosphere is well worth a visit. There is an upstairs which is super cute, lighting appeared antique like which adds to the appeal of the restaurant. I'm a pretty healthy eater and options were limited in that aspect. read more

We were walking around Main Street and stumbled on this place and made a note to return before we left. We came back and picked up 3 doughnuts: French toast, churro, and bourbon caramel. They're layered doughnuts that were very much a cross between a croissant and a doughnut. They are big doughnuts, but super airy and fluffy inside. I liked the bourbon caramel the most because the topping wasn't too sweet and it was very balanced. The French toast one was delicious, but definitely sweet. I thought I was going to like the churro one the most and it was delicious, but I didn't really like the chocolate icing. This place is a great place for breakfast or a work/study break throughout the day! The restaurant is very nice and neat. The doughnuts are very good and light. They are more like a croissant more than a normal doughnut which I loved. The coffee is also very good. I was able to get a cappuccino and it was one of the best cappuccinos I have had in a while.
