We visited the new location of Sunrise Cafe located on Greenriver Road. It was a Tuesday morning around 8:30 am. There were just a few customers so we had our pick of tables. The server was prompt with the menu, water and coffee. I chose the California Omelette which included spinach, avocado, bacon and mozzarella. It's nice that they have senior portions which are plenty. For my side I chose baked apples. I asked him to hold the cinnamon which he was happy to do. My breakfast group all agreed that this was one of the better meals we've had. This was the best omelette I've gotten at a restaurant. The apples I wouldn't order again. They tasted canned. The place is clean and the service was good and fast. We'll definitely go there again. By the time we were ready to leave the place had filled up. read more

Breakfast was delicious & very filling. I had the raspberry crepes combo with an additional side of hash brown. Big portions! The crepes wasn't overly sweet. Exceeded my expectations. I can't justify giving this place anything lower than a 4 with the fact that they took a reservation for 13 on a Sunday, didn't mess up anyone's order and were fairly quick... not to mention everyone cleaned their plate! The food is really good (not amazing), but a solid place to get a hearty breakfast at a decent cost. They also have a senior discount! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Again they didn't mess up anyone's orders and got the checks correctly split out 6 ways. No mimosas or bloody marys... so think more breakfast than brunch. The food was really good and they had a very nice selection. The waitress was nice and came back several times to check on us. Only downside was I had ordered three pancakes with sausage and they only brought out two. When I said something to the person that brought the food out he said he would take care of it. He did so by bringing me another two pancakes which were very good. Dining area is nice however it was a little noisy with the design they over one area. We go here often when I meet my partner for lunch so my experiences are based on weekday lunch. I have never gotten anything here I did not enjoy. Normally I get an omelet but have gotten non breakfast things like Veggie Stirfry and everything has been great. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. This has become one of our favorites. This past Sat morning we tried the new location on North Greenriver Rd. The day, time and location meant they were very busy. We got seated pretty quickly but the wait on each step of the process...ordering, being served, paying was a bit long. They appeared to be short staffed as many places are these days. The food was just as good as the original location and menu and prices the same. We definitely will return and recommend. read more

Just had their burgers for lunch and they did not disappoint. My woman got the Avocado/Bacon Cheese burger with fries and I got the Double Cheese with everything and fries. Service was very slow. The food was bland and seemed premade. The syrup was brought out minutes after the pancakes were brought to my kids. Also, it came in this cheap squeeze bottle and exploded everywhere. I ordered my eggs one way and was brought a plate. I immediately said they didn't cook the eggs correctly but started eating anyways and the server came and tried to take the plate away and said she delivered the wrong order to me. I let her know that I had already started eating it and I don't think the other table would've wanted this one now. read more
