Unique doughnut place on Clearwater beach. The doughnuts are a cross between a croissant and a cronut. The base is the same on all of them with unique toppings. Most of them are very desert forward so if you are looking for a more traditional doughnut it might not be your place. We had the French toast, their version of a cinnamon roll, a carnival, a blueberry, a raspberry filled, and a raspberry with chocolate. The blueberry and raspberry filled were the favorites but all of them were good. Service is a bit slow and disjointed but worth the wait. Most people did not know where to order which slowed things down. If you want a breakfast item you can go straight to the payment counter. We took them to go but the shop had plenty of seating available. It's attached to a holiday inn hotel so I wouldn't say it has vibes but it does great doughnuts. read more

This place was right around the corner from the AC Hotel in Clearwater, Florida where I recently stayed for a conference. The ambience inside was nice and cozy, with several guests in the early morning. My go-to order was the lavender latte, which was delicious! It looked to me that they specialized in different doughnuts and flavors that were unique and even inclusive of specific diets. The place gets a little busier closer to the afternoon as guests arrive from the hotel next door, and from other areas to pick up treats and coffee. A wonderful spot. As a person with food sensitivities and a daughter with allergies, I always want to patronize places that serve allergy friendly eats. The brunette girl who served us did not know what vegan vs keto means and also had no idea what was meant by dairy free. When my daughter pointed out a "strawberry carnival" in the case she said that she could have it but didn't tell us that she had to make a different version with no sprinkles in the back in order to make it vegan. My daughter was very disappointed in her donut and the honey glazed had a fly in it. The area with water cups and straws had an actual layer of crust on it and seemed very unsanitary. I'm so disappointed by my experience. We didn't ask for our money back because we feel sorry for the places wrecked by the hurricane. However this lack of training could really hurt a child with allergies and the lack of cleanliness could cause illness in anyone. I hope the management reads this and retrains their staff. read more

We're a big fan of "cronuts" and dare I say it, their "layered donuts" might even be better. We got a box and a couple of coffees to go and as soon as I took my first bite I was tempted to turn it around and go get more. Fresh, fluffy and flavorful. Friendly staff, clean, solid coffee. This place is amazing! We bought 6 donuts. 2 coconut cream that were like heaven. Yum! I love that they are not overly sweet. They're fresh & even a couple days later in the fridge they were good. We also had 2 chocolate chocolate, 1 campfire & 1 turtle cheesecake. I think my favorite was the coconut but the cheesecake was amazing too. Honestly thank goodness this is over by the beach and too touristy - that's the only reason I won't be here every week. The cronuts are heavenly, especially the double chocolate one and the French toast one. Absolutely zero parking! Parlor "shares" parking with the Holiday Inn next door, and the hotel uses up all the parking. There are a couple "reserved" parking spaces, however multiple days in a row, the employees parked there. One day we attempted to arrive right after opening in hopes to get in and out, while parking in the driveway of the hotel. Once inside the staff were very rude and dismissive. Even though no other people were inside, we were told there would be a 15 minute wait to order a breakfast sandwich (which is on the regular menu). Needless to say, after attempting to eat at Parlor on multiple occasions we have decided against it. We will not try again. read more

I had heard rave reviews about Parlor Doughnuts at the Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach and Edge Hotel so thought I'd try them out. A donut is just a donut right? Wrong!! My first job was working in a donut shop so I thought I knew everything there was to know about them! I was so wrong!! These are not light little Fluffy things.
