The donuts were yummy! I was pleasantly surprised that they were not overly sweet! I was really happy about that! And, the texture of the small-batch donuts is amazing! Kind of crispy on the outside, yet fluffy and tender inside! Unfortunately, we arrived between 8am and 8:30am and a great many flavors were sold out. Our choices were very limited. This is a testament to their great popularity! But as out-of-towners, we just weren't aware. So if you go, please go early. We were told that more donuts would be out in ten minutes, but that never happened. No donuts came out the entire time we were there. Upon entering from the street, there was no CLEAR signage as to where to go to place an order. We saw signs to "pay here" and for "mobile pick-up". So we went to the cashier. The gentleman there never greeted us, volunteered to direct us, or anything. So, we just asked whether or not we should order? The whole process was just a bit confusing. We ended up going around to the other side of the counter where we saw the actual donuts. We also noticed a secondary entrance from within the hotel lobby that the doughnut shop is attached to. Perhaps if we used that entrance, our experience would have been different. But our actual experience detracted from a 5 star rating. But I'll repeat it, the donut that we had was tasty. I enjoy Parlor Doughnuts! I have tried a few locations. These donuts never disappoint! I arrived early in the morning and all the flavors were available. I ordered the Churro, Caramel, flavor of the month (Raspberry Chocolate), Sandy Beach, French Toast, and Chocolate. My favorites were Sandy Beach and Churro. The service was great and the inside was clean. It was not super busy because I came early just after opening. I can see this place being a hit in the summer and on holiday weekends. I will be back on my next trip to Clearwater! Check them out on your visit to The one thing to note is the signage is not different than other locations and the building is tucked away. Absolutely delicious! It was almost noon and they had quite a selection and were making fresh doughnuts. These were not overly sweet, they were perfect. Cute coffee shop style with tables and counter to stay and eat. Friendly service, there was a lot going on but everyone was smiling and getting it done. HOLIDAY IN CLEARWATER FAMILY ADVENTURE!!! Found this place on, where else, YELP of course. We found this place after going to the Clearwater Aquarium. It was only a 7 mins away and they had breakfast items and a variety of doughnuts on Yelp. When we got there we were sorely mistaken. They had 4 types of doughnuts and could not offer anything else on their menu. Mind you we got there around 1:30pm and they didn't close u til 4pm. Side note: They are located in a hotel parking lot and it was very easy to find parking. After finding out their limited food and doughnuts options we decided to leave without purchasing anything. Maybe we can try them again next time to see if they have more to offer. 1 star is due to their limited food options and no inside restroom. Ambiance of the shop was great, cozy and spacious with plenty of seating and a couch/coffee table. The location is attached to Holiday Inn on the beach road. Parking was easy as they reserve a few spots for customers and you can use the holiday inn check-in parking area if you'll only be a few minutes. Service was fine with a friendly group of college aged kids running the show. Like any donut shop I went too late in the morning to have the full selection, around 10:30 am the racks were pretty scarce but they were making more. Ended up trying the maple bacon and Sandy Beach. Both were fresh and unique takes on a traditional donut, they aren't allowed to say it but they're "croissant" style which I've always enjoyed. I will definitely be joining the rewards program and coming back for more when I can get there earlier! Fresh and delicious! (Wish I could give 4.5 stars instead of 4. Went for a walk with a colleague after lunch. We came across this donut place and decided to go in and see what options they have. The place is cute and welcoming. There wasn't anyone there to greet us immediately. At first glance it looked like they didn't have any donuts left. We were met by a menu in front of the display section which listed a wide selection of donut flavors. The server suggested a few selections based on taste. I decided to go with the S'mores one and my friend for the Bacon one. The smores one tasted just like a s'more. I thought the Bacon would have overpowered the donut but it was the right balance of salt and sweet. Bookmarked this spot and so glad we found the opportunity to try their layered donuts. My husband and I shared a raspberry pistachio layered donut along with an iced latte. The best I could describe their layered donuts are like a cronut (croissant donut fusion, if you'd had one) but better! The staff were kind and patience with us as we decided our order - there are so many flavors to choose from. I was hooked. Came back the very next day (which involved hopping on a trolley with a baby stroller; worth the effort) and ordered three more donuts to try / split with our friends: maple pecan, churro, and strawberry shortcake. They did NOT disappointed. We also tried their acai bowl which had a ton of toppings; my husband preferred this acai bowl than the one we had prior in North Beach. During both visits, we made ourselves comfortable on their leather sofa coach in the back corner (next to the doorway leading to Holiday Inn). There is plenty of seating so it's a good spot for groups. Only half kidding when I say that I wish we came with more friends (any excuse to order a full dozen and try more flavors) or even stayed at the conjoining hotel for easier access. Hard call for this Parlor Doughnuts. Felt a bit odd. I was fortunate to visit the Parlor Doughnuts in Venice, FL first. Totally night and day and tried a coconut filled donut. So I came back here, since I had the opportunity to come early. They had no doughnuts and said they came make me doughnuts in five to ten minutes. I wanted the filled doughnuts which I know I liked based on my other trip. That would have been a coconut filled and their local filled doughnut - Pina Colada. They said no filled doughnuts were available. In other words, they weren't making them. Topped doughnuts are the same doughnut with some sugar syrup flavored topping on it. I picked the raspberry donut and cookies and cream donut. I had downloaded the app, so one of them were free. They never used that app before so they stumbled a bit and gave me that discount. The donuts were ok. I know the filled one was much better. I doubt I'll go here again. Ambiance is nice but just know this location is inside the holiday inn Clearwater beach. Just tell the parking attendant you are headed to Parlor Doughnuts so you don't have to worry about paying for parking. read more

We were on vacation and I was running some morning errands and googled donuts near me. This place pops up as the closest to me, what a god send. The donuts are insane, I didn't even know where to start you could probably spend an hour asking questions about the different flavors but I just got a box of six and asked the staff member to give me the most popular ones. They're all presented very well, and the flavor matches the beautiful donuts. The space is small but cute, and the parking lot is really tight im not sure if it's generally hard to get in but I found a parking spot despite that.
