I went with Wild Bill's because the salesperson was knowledgeable, and I was assured the carpet…read morewould be installed within 7-10 days. The salesperson (David Finkenthal) came out to the residence and measured the areas himself to be carpeted. After waiting for 12 days, the carpet was installed; but the installers didn't have enough carpet! I have an unfinished stair and two closets without carpeting! This was two weeks ago; after numerous attempts to get the rest of my carpet installed, I was finally told that the remaining carpet was ordered and would be installed today (7/16/19). The installers came, and LEFT A NOTE ON THE DOOR instead of contacting anyone that they had arrived (I was at work, but my parents down the road were informed about the installation; this was how installation first went). So, a 7-10 day wait has turned into over 3 weeks at this point, with the majority of my complaints and calls ignored. With the amount of carpet stores in the area, you have SEVERAL better options than to go with Wild Bill's.

Dave is very eager to take the $ but not to finish the job. His measurements for the carpet were incorrect. The installer I spoke to was rude even tho in no way was it my fault. He even said the job would take longer as they had to move furniture. I was incredulous! The only furniture in the home is a grandfather's clock and a table to be thrown out. I currently have partially installed carpet and no resolution in sight. Dave doesn't return emails or phone calls but he has cashed my check for $4,000. Therefore I have been forced to retain an attorney to try & get this handled.. VERY unprofessional and no customer service.

Due to scheduling issues ( mostly mine) as I was out of the country) it took around a month to get accomplished. However the floors look great and I am well pleased. Thanks again for the repairs.

The sales rep arrive and quoted me a price of $6000 for carpet and LVP. I was offered a lower price by their competitor but they decided to match it. The day they were to install the LVP, my husband was home and I was at work. I came home to VINYL glued down "I thought you changed your mind". Beside them changing my order (I didn't catch the change in a barrage of emails they sent-my fault I was selling my rental as well during this time) they left glue all over the flooring. They did not replace my base boards as promised. This was first wk of April 2026. I am still getting glue off the floor. They left gaps where the vinyl was suppose to lay next to the wall. There are bubbles. I did not authorize them to take the remaining balance but they did anyway. They have lied to me, cheated me and stole my money. The one rep said "I see where you were looking at the LVP. If you want this it will cost an additional $2000". Needless to say, I'm not paying extra. Just fix the flooring and make it presentable. I plan to move at the end of the year. TN Johnson. 5/20 they say this isn't how they do business but I think it is. I have gotten NO WHERE with customer service.

I stopped in and worked with Shelly who seems to take care of nearly everything at the store. She was helpful, providing me with a lot of information and encouraging me to take samples home with me to see how they'd look in the rooms. I came back a few days later and placed my order. Shelly was not in at the time but called me the very next morning to process the order. When I wasn't able to speak because I was in a meeting, she texted with me to ensure that the order was placed ASAP. I ordered the carpet on a Friday and it was installed the following Wednesday. The installer was professional and patient, answering my millions of questions. I would definitely recommend Permanent Floors Carpet One and would purchase from them again without hesitation!

I work in a small home office and we needed the first floor of our carpet replaced before a big out…read moreof town client was due to visit and this work needed to be done very quickly. All was well at first. They came out right away and quoted me at $2500 and ensured that if I placed the order now they would have plenty of time to receive and install the carpet before our big visit. Once I agreed and they charged my card the down payment, I get a phone call almost a week later telling me that their distributor mis-quoted and that the new price is $3300. I was upset because I felt like this was a bait and switch since they knew I was in a bind, plus I didn't see how it was our fault that they didn't get their numbers correct. If our business misquoted our clients you better believe we would be eating that cost. However, we eventually negotiated to split the increase and he ensured me that all was well with our deadline. Two days before they are scheduled to install, four days before my deadline, they tell me that they can't get the carpet in time even though UPS offers NDA and Saturday delivery. They threw their distributor under the bus yet refused to let me contact them to see if I could get the carpet shipped direct through our UPS account. They were completely unwilling to work with me on installing another day and gave me no other options. I could tell that they didn't want to do the work due to their previous mistakes making the job less profitable for them. I understand that to a point, but as a I now have to explain to my boss why the carpet is not being replaced it's my ass on the line. Bottom Line: Shady business practices that will leave you in the lurch.
