I had a large shag-style rug that had definitely seen better days, so I started looking for a company to clean it. After seeing Arslanian Brothers' commercials for years, I finally decided to give them a call to learn more about their services. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable their quote was and how quickly they were able to schedule my pickup. The team arrived right on time during the designated window, and the two gentlemen who came were professional, courteous, and efficient. My rug was returned the following week by a different team member who was just as professional as the ones who picked it up. I couldn't have been happier with the results. My two main hopes were that the matted areas would be re-fluffed and that the rug would return to its original cream color. When I unrolled it, it looked fantastic--fresh, clean, and beautifully restored. I'm so glad they were able to breathe new life into it and extend its lifespan. Rude, condescending and never showed up to the appointment. I had an appointment to have my carpet cleaned in several room and 3 couches. They didn't give us a time of arrival and then told me that I was supposed to call, which I didn't know. I took off the whole day and cancelled 4 appointments to sit and wait for them, I called and they acted like my time and business wasn't their priority. The owner Ted was very condescending and told me he "didn't want to argue" and I said neither did I, all I wanted my carpets cleaned. They handled the whole situation very unprofessional and rudely that I canceled the rescheduled appointment because my business and time were not of value to them. I would rather take my business elsewhere than be talked down to by a rude old man. read more

We were very pleased with the professional cleaning, scotchgarding and deodorizing of 2 runners.

We purchased our home a year ago and wanted the blinds replaced or cleaned. After receiving a quote of $5,000 for replacing the window treatments, we attempted to clean the blinds first. The blinds are of good quality, but they are thirty-year-old cellular blinds. The Arslanian Bros. were easy to work with and reasonably priced, around $300. The cleaning process took a little over a week. They called to let us know it would be a few additional days because they were going to re-clean the blinds, as they were not happy with the results the first time. I couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. We would use their services again. read more

My parents and grandparents used Arslanian Brothers many years ago when I was a child, so when I needed some oriental rugs cleaned, they were my first call. I've used them for the past three years now, and each time the experience has been exactly what I would expect from a good business: - Drop off - employee helped unload carpets from my car and quickly processed my orders. Lol, the orders appear to be handwritten, but whatever works. - Pickup - I walked in, asked for my carpets and immediately they rounded up the carpets and loaded in my car - Cleaning - All three times the rugs were like new and nicely wrapped in brown paper for transport I like businesses that focus on a specific task and do that task very well, every time. I've used this company for drop off rug cleaning and carpet cleaning. I like that the trucks have their own water supply but my fairly new carpets were not clean and the cost was higher than most. The drop off rug cleaning was so much better and reasonably priced. read more

Here I am, 7 years later, once again attempting to get cat pee smell out of my house. But this time? I couldn't be more impressed! Cliff and Jeff took their time cleaning my carpet and made it look and smell like new. I had a few problem areas in my office and had them use deodorizer and you would honestly never know a cat had ever even stepped foot in the room. And my stairs? Wow! They look beautiful. I simply cannot say enough good things about Arslanian Brothers and the shopping experience. They were attentive, but gave us space, and they were kind. They were patient, but ready to help. The selection is lovely, and many of the rugs are hanging and browsable. The prices were good, and when I saw "the one" they lowered it and we could get an appreciation for the details, the rich color, the fine weave, the knotting. They included a pad, and home delivery. I dropped off four rugs. One had a dog pee stain. They all came back smelling grossly of dog pee. I can't even use them anymore. They must wash all the dog pee rugs with the same dog pee water and reuse the water over and over and over again. So I paid over $300 to have my rugs ruined. Never again. read more

We're new to the area and needed to clean a rug that has never been cleaned and was insanely dusty and sandy. They held the wash for us, promised and delivered the rug by Friday, and offered to pick up and deliver. It was a little more for that service so we declined but it looked like new when we picked it up. Very easy to drop off and pick up. Also the guy who works there carries the giant wool rug like its nothing. Pretty cool. read more

I had a flood . Arselenian picked antique rugs 4 hours after. They kept them wet/ rolled 5 days which ruined them. 5 says after pickup they asked what I wanted ti di w// rugs. We told them we needed wash/ dry upon puck up! The rugs bleeded due to negligence. Rgey refused to pay damages. My insurance paid $23,000. I think Arselenian wanted to sell me rugs, as they knew so many days, wet would ruin them! Stay away from them! read more

We have utilized Arslanian Bros service for many years. Alan is very personable and they always do a fantastic job! Carpet cleaning isn't as simple as one would initially think. There are a lot of factors in the process, quality of carpet, length of time between cleanings, etc. Dirt in carpets make carpets wear out more quickly. Inexpensive carpets won't stand up to cleaning properly and cheep padding lets stains bleed back up to the carpet. They vanish then reappear. Arslanian Bros understands what it really takes to clean carpets properly. Anyone can buy the tools and charge less but do they really understand what they are doing. You pay for what you get. This family cares about what they do and their reputation. They do an amazing job. read more

I sent in two oriental rugs for cleaning and they came back with marginal results... In particular I had them taken back and re washed but it just wasn't done well... The rugs had been re washed but the frills were still 1/2 dirty frills; that meant if anyone had inspected them they would have seen that the wash had not been done correctly.... I called this company last Sunday and left a message for someone to call me back so I could book an appt before Thanksgiving . I returned last night remebering no one returned my call. I called spoke to the son who insisted they called me back. Wrong. Then he had an employee call me and he said,well maybe I called the wrong person. I thought about the treatment I received from this young man all night and decided to call the father. BIG MISTAKE. HE WAS CONDESCENDING NOT INTERESTED and kept saying, big deal no one called you back what do you want...I thought being the adult/father/owner he would want to know about the call. He thought it was more important to tell me about his brain surgery how they are short handed. And basically talk to me in a demeaning fashion. In a world where service does not exist anymore I would skip this carpet cleaning. read more

While I have used this company to clean our large rugs, I decided to call and schedule them to come clean carpet in our house. They did respond promptly. However, I had no choice as to time of service. I was scheduled at a very inconvenient time that clashed with my work schedule. When I called back and tried to reschedule, the man was very rude . I had them come in and do a whole house rug cleaning. They were fast, thorough and professional. Carpets look much better, although they didn't get out as much of the pet smell as I had hoped (a misbehaving cat left behind more than bad memories). The cost was ok. There were two guys, and one had been with the company 14 years, the other 8. They seemed to know what they were doing and worked efficiently. No walls banged into, no furniture knocked around. I was a bit disappointed that they charge by the square foot instead of by the hour because my house is fairly spartan. I think they lucked out with me. Seems odd that they charge the same for someone like me as they do someone with 800 pieces of furniture stuck into every nook and cranny. I'd probaly use them again, but given how simple a cleaning job my place is, I might go cheaper just because I don't need 22 years of experience. read more

Walking into their warehouse/store reminds me of Disneyland for Aladdin for some reason. Carpets as far as the eye can see, but fortunately friendly and fast service and clean as well. I dropped off a fairly large area rug after my dog had one too many "accidents" on it. The rug was far beyond repair of our humble steam cleaner vacuum, and I feared beyond the touch of a intricate cleaning service. I was wrong -- picked it up a week later, and like magic, it was like new. Thumbs up. Tip: You save by dropping off carpets vs. Arslanian picking up. read more

Unfortunately my elderly cat is now deceased but she left behind some stains on a very light carpet in my guest room. I had asked if it was possible to do some spot cleaning and not do the entire room and I was told it was possible but they cannot guarantee that all the stains or smell would be eradicated. It took only 15 minutes; the crew was very efficient and pleasant. No stains remain nor is there any odor left....unbelievable! They are not the cheapest carpet cleaners in the Cleveland area but it is my belief that you usually get what you pay for and in this instance I really did. read more

They picked up and dropped off promptly. That's the only nice thing I can say. I asked them to get pet urine out my rug, and they said they could. When I unrolled it, I would have guessed the rug wasn't touched. I understand that it might have not have been possible, but they should have called to let me know. Called on a Monday and got to pick the day I wanted. The gentlemen that came were very friendly and knowledgable about their equipment and products. I had the living room carpet cleaned, the sofa and chair(microfiber-cream color) wow! What a difference! I was a bit shocked at the price ($205.00) but once cleaned it was totally worth the price, and when I did make mention of the price the gentleman offered me a $20 off coupon! Great customer service! Also, the men that came called before coming, I didn't answer right away so they went to another location...that was a bit of an issue-so answer when they call!
