    $25 gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce
    Miss Lady ..

I ordered the gnocchi gorgonzola. When I called up they were very friendly and told me they could prepare the gnocchi sauce in any way I prefer. The amount of gnocchi you get for $25 was enough for one person. Homemade cooking from scratch it seems. It was heavy on the stomach but it was nice for fresh rich food. Nice interior design.

We tend to eat out a lot and try restaurants throughout the GTA. We decided to try Parola Ristorante to celebrate a good friend's birthday. We live literally 5 minutes away and had no idea that this restaurant existed. Our experience was an amazing one as the food was outstanding. The appetizers and entrees were delicious. We love Italian food and this has now become one of my favourite restaurants. The pasta all tasted super amazing. The staff and ambiance were good. I will most definitely be back and refer this to all my friends.

This is a restaurant for Italian cuisine. Service is quite attentive, ordered calamari, mixed green salad, and risotto with mushrooms, quality is above average. Atmosphere is very relaxing here, good for family and friends gatherings.

Went here last night for a friend's birthday. I arrived a little late than the reservation but that didn't seem like an issue for the restaurant as more than 50% of the guest had arrived. The location is cute and small. The restaurant was busy but the service was good. Since we were still waiting for 1 more guest to arrive. We ordered the Margarita pizza. We ordered two in the beginning which came out cold and were not hot at all. The second order of Margarita pizza was hotter and actually better than the first. For mains we all got our own. I ordered the Penne Al Vodka, personally this is my go to pasta to order. But I didn't like it as much as this restaurant couldn't determine if it was the sauce or the pasta. With added the hot oil it made it some what better.

Amazing atmosphere and food to start off the weekend!!…read more We came on a friday night but there weren't a lot of people but also because it was game night. The lady who served us had exceptional knowledge of the menu, so we got couple things to share. Note: they also have daily special, so friday night was cocktail. We asked for everything to come at the same time (asian thing) instead of waiting. The grilled calamari came first and omg... it was sooo delicious!! Next off was the pepperoni flatbread, it was thin and crispy. Then the strip loin with truffle frites.. definitely something to die for!! Of course at the end we had to order their homemade pistachio tiramisu. So creamy and perfect! We would definitely come back especially for the high tea experience!

We made a semi-last-minute reservation the day before Father's Day weekend for a party of seven at 6:00 PM on a Saturday. Surprisingly, it wasn't very busy during our visit, aside from one larger group and a few couples, the dining room remained fairly quiet. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, though only about half of the venue is dedicated to dining. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between casual and upscale. It's not fine dining, but it's polished enough for a date night or celebration while still being comfortable for casual attire. Service was provided primarily by two servers throughout our meal. They were friendly, attentive, and consistently kept our water glasses topped up without being intrusive. The food was enjoyable, though not the best I've had at this price point. That said, it's a solid option for the area. The grilled calamari appetizer was cooked well, being tender rather than chewy, and nicely seasoned without being overly salty. The kale salad was a pleasant surprise, featuring a fresh, homemade-tasting dressing that complemented the kale perfectly without any bitterness. The garlic bread was absolutely loaded with garlic, which I loved, though it was softer than expected and could have benefited from a bit more toasting. For my main, I ordered the mushroom truffle pasta. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the generous amount of mushrooms was a highlight. Around the table, the spicy chicken rosé pasta was well received, though the spice level was quite mild. I recommend asking for their chili oil for an added kick. The aged striploin was cooked medium as requested, tender throughout, with nicely crisped edges. The accompanying truffle fries and truffle aioli were delicious. The clam linguine had good flavour but could have used a bit more sauce. The branzino was the surprise of the evening, as it arrived as a whole fish, which wasn't what we expected in this type of setting. While flavorful, it required navigating quite a few bones (wouldn't really recommend it for this reason, not the classiest dish to eat). Dessert was a mixed experience. The banana pudding was unfortunately a miss, with an unusual stretchy texture and an overly sweet flavour profile. In contrast, the house-made pistachio tiramisu was outstanding and easily the standout dessert of the meal. It's a must-order. The restaurant was clean and thoughtfully decorated, and the washrooms were well maintained. I especially appreciated the complimentary mouthwash, a small but memorable touch that added to the overall experience. Note: They change their menu from time to time!

The restaurant usually closes for special celebrations/events during the day on weekends, so we were very grateful that they could accommodate us this one-time :) The service was A+, very friendly and welcoming host and servers. I absolutely loved the soup of the day: Minestrone. It was so hearty, delicious and filled with so much ingredients. The beet salad with arugula and feta cheese was delicious. The Genoa pizza was nice and thin, and loaded with pesto, pine nuts, chicken, mushrooms and cheeses. I would definitely come back to try more items on the menu (I'm eye that risotto our friend was having that day lol). Can't wait to come back!

My pizza was decent, but the wife's lamb shank was extremely tender and rich. Couldn't really evaluate the seafood pasta....but it seemed pretty good as our kid killed the entire order. The tiramisu was really really good, but what really was impressive was the ambiance and the service. Staff was so friendly and very very attentive....though quite possibly just taken back by our kid's appetite.

I had never been here before, so there was a brief hesitation since I thought this could either make me look like a foodie genius or a complete fraud. But then I saw photos of the beautiful olive tree in the dining room and thought, well... any restaurant confident enough to put a tree in the middle probably knows what it's doing. I was sold. The verdict? I'm glad I brought them--though there was one small caveat. The one con: We started with the Vegetarian Board. The vegetables were fresh and well-cooked, but I have to call out a small disappointment: the menu clearly says "chef's selection of vegetables and olives." Reader, unfortunately...there were no olives. Not a single olive in sight. In a restaurant with an olive tree, no less. The irony was almost poetic. Minor false advertising aside, the broccolini was also a bit more bitter than I personally enjoy. Now the pros (and there were many): The rest of the meal was exceptional--fresh, satisfying, and very authentically Italian. To start, we had fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The olive oil alone almost stole the show. It was incredibly fragrant, with that bright, crisp olive flavour that lingers on your palate like it was pressed five minutes ago. I may or may not have eaten more bread than dignity allows. For my main, I had the pasta special of the day: oxtail casarecce, and it was fantastic. The sauce was creamy and packed with umami. The oxtail was tender and chewy at the same time, somehow both hearty and melt-in-your-mouth. And the pasta itself was clearly fresh--springy, perfectly textured. Fresh pasta really does make all the difference. My coworker ordered the paccheri con zucchine e gamberetti, which I sampled strictly for research purposes. It was lighter and refreshing, with delicate zucchini that made the whole dish feel balanced and satisfying. My other colleague went with the daily secondi special: pesce alla griglia (sea bream). I also tried a bite of that, and it was excellent--crispy skin on the outside, tender and flaky inside, juicy and full of flavour. The only small drawback was that the sides were the exact same vegetables as the ones from our Vegetarian Board, so by round two my colleague was a little overwhelmed by the déjà-vu of vegetables. Then came dessert--easily everyone's favourite part of the night. Two of us ordered the tiramisu, and honestly, it might be one of the best I've had. When they serve it, they pour a freshly brewed shot of espresso over the top, which soaks into the layers and perfectly complements the mascarpone and cream underneath. It was ridiculously good. Our other coworker ordered the pistachio strawberry cake and absolutely demolished it in about two seconds flat, which I think is the highest possible dessert endorsement. Price-wise: this isn't a cheap casual spot, but it's very reasonable for a high-quality dinner. My pasta, dessert, and service came out to almost $70, which felt fair for the experience. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm, and overall we had a genuinely lovely dinner. Most importantly, bringing my coworkers here made me look like I actually know what I'm doing when recommending restaurants--which is always a win. Olives or not, I'd happily come back. And next time, I'm thinking date night.

I called the day before right when they opened to make a reservation since the online system showed no availability. The staff member who took my call was incredibly friendly and thorough. In addition to the usual questions about party size, time, name, and phone number, they also asked how many children would be joining us, whether anyone had allergies, if we were celebrating a special occasion, and informed me in advance about the automatic gratuity for larger parties as well as the two-hour seating limit. I really appreciated how comprehensive they were. Fast forward to dinner... Parking in the plaza was absolute chaos. It took us quite a while to find spots, though that's not entirely surprising given how many popular restaurants are in the plaza. I'm sure the FIFA match that evening didn't help either. We were seated at what I'd describe as a "cozy" table. It wasn't cramped, but it definitely felt snug for our group. Thankfully, it ended up working out because we were sharing most dishes and the staff were fantastic about promptly clearing empty plates as we finished sharing dishes. We started with the Caesar salad, the Prosciutto & Mozzarella, and a Three Meat Pizza. The Caesar salad was well dressed with great flavour, while the mozzarella was, as always, a crowd favourite. I was pleasantly surprised by the focaccia, which was much crispier than I was expecting (I've never had it toasted like that before), with a wonderfully buttery flavour. The pizza was also excellent, not overly salty, with a chewy crust and a perfectly crisp exterior. For my main, I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, which was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the sauce was well balanced, and nothing was overly salty. I also ordered the Rosemary Garlic Fries, which were tasty, although I do wish they had served a bit more aioli since that's what really elevates the dish. I also stole a few bites of other entrées around the table. The Vodka Pasta wasn't what I'd consider a traditional vodka sauce, as it leaned much more toward a creamy Alfredo, but it had a nice kick of spice. The standout for me, however, was the Shrimp Lemon Pasta. It was absolutely delicious, and I'd easily order that as my main on my next visit. Since we were celebrating my aunt's birthday, the staff surprised her with a chocolate cake topped with colourful sprinkles and a sparkler. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the meal. Now for the memorable mishaps. The most alarming occurred when an employee accidentally knocked over one of the decorative jars filled with beans. It shattered as soon as it hit the floor, sending glass and beans underneath our table. We stayed still because we knew shards had scattered around our feet, and I was wearing shorts, so I could actually feel some of the debris around my legs. My biggest concern came when my mom mentioned she felt something brush against her neck, but thankfully she wasn't injured. The employee was incredibly apologetic and immediately stayed behind to thoroughly clean everything up. We all stepped away from the table to make sure every piece of glass could be safely swept up before sitting back down. The second near mishap happened when our server returned carrying full glass bottles of water. One slipped from her hand and hit the table, but thankfully she managed to keep hold of it before it shattered or knocked anything over. Despite those unexpected moments, our server was wonderful throughout the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and especially diligent about ensuring the allergy at our table was handled appropriately. Accidents happen, and while these certainly made for a memorable dinner, I appreciated how professionally the staff handled each situation and how well they continued to take care of us afterward.
