They will not make sure you are fully numb or medicated while doing work, when you tell them you can feel it. They tell you to suck it up and deal with it. Due to their mess ups, it gave me a massive infection in my mouth. They also, do not inform you if they screw something up, or have to add additional treatments to your dental bill for the extra work they had to do due to them not being careful. From tooth cleaning to more complicated issues they are always able help or get you to the right person who will. I stood at the hallway door for 15 minutes as I was the first appointment and they didn't let me in until exactly at 7:00 am. My normal dentist (Dr. Spanel) wasn't there due to schedule changes and they never called to let me know, so he didn't do my exam. In addition they have made the following financial changes..... 1. Charging a credit card processing fee of 3% 2. Requiring you to pay upfront to even schedule the appointment for the work you haven't even gotten done instead of paying on the day you get work done. 3. Have you sign a contract to allowing them to Charge a fee if you don't cancel within a timeframe. ( I've not experienced this but would hope there is some leniency) Either way is very off-putting. 4. They actually have a virtual assistant that answers the phone?!?! Just confirms the lack of interest they have in actually being personable. It's transitional care for financial gain and not focused on the client anymore which is too bad because it was an amazing place.

I found out that Dr. Spanel has sold the practice to a private equity group and he's now working there as an independent contractor. The new owners told the office staff to turn away anybody who wouldn't immediately fill out the MyChart stuff. I was still standing at the front counter discussing the situation when everybody just walked away and left me standing there. I'm glad Dr. Spanel is lining up his retirement, he's a great dentist. The new owners can go pound sand with their demands. Creighton University fills Omaha with batches of new dentists every year, and I am currently shopping for a new dentist.

I thought I liked these guys for my first appointment but it went downhill FAST. They kept having…read moreme come back for frivolous things or because they forgot to do something. I've wasted so much money here DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. Most recently, I came in for a teeth whitening. First, they didn't do the trays right, so I had to come back in so they could redo them. Then, they gave me the wrong amount of whitening stuff so I had to go back AGAIN. They wouldn't admit their mistake and threatened to charge me another $400 if i didn't come back to pick up my trays (?!?). I will be cancelling my next appointment there. Spare yourself the time and money and just don't go here.
