I have been going here for years for general dentistry and specialties. The front desk folks are great about greetings and getting down to business. The hygienists I have are professional to the core and I can actually relax in the chair a bit because I know I won't have pain. The dentists know their stuff and are good at educating patients about healthy teeth and related health matters. I recommend! read more

The Dentist and others were helpful, but this hasn't the first time I was not told I would be charged for something. Other charges were smaller so i dealt with it, but this time I was charged over $70 for the dentist to paint numbing agent on a crack between two teeth where gums had receeded. The person in charge of payments REFUSED to let me talk to the dentist or offer any discount. I found a whole bottle of the numbing agent for $30 on amazon. Too many charges and not told up front and won't apologize or take responsibility or try to make it right. Will NOT go there anymore. Been a faithful customer for years. read more

I really like Dr. Cameron Thomas. He's a personable guy and a qualified dentist. But let's face it, most people don't go because of the actual dentist. S/he sees you for all of five minutes. You keep going to the same office because of the awesome hygienist, who you spend FAR MORE time with. And Diane was amazing for 25 years! Once Diane retired, I had no reason to go back to this dentist office. But, after 25 years of being a patient, I gave in to old habits and got my last scheduled cleaning at Kennedy. Still like Dr. Thomas. Wasn't a fan of anything else there. I haven't been back since 2021, so I don't know if the office has been updated, but it used to be pretty outdated, there was zero privacy (I mean, the staff were on the phones where anyone in the lobby can hear their conversations), and the atmosphere wasn't all that comfortable. Couple all those things with not really caring for the new hygienist and you wonder why I would even think about going back. Well, my wife doesn't like change and my kids have had all their dental work done there, so I called this morning to make appointments. Couldn't get through so I sent a message through the website. Received a reply that Kennedy will no longer schedule appointments for our family. "Richard, Unfortunately your family's account was turned over to collections last year for balances from 2021. Once an account has been turned over we do not reappoint, so I will not be able to make appointments for yourself or your family members." I'm acknowledging that businesses can make their own policies, and further acknowledging that I had an account go to collections. But that account was paid last year. I was never informed (prior to today) that if an account goes to collections that Kennedy Dental effectively 'fires' you as a patient. I can understand this if you've never paid a bill or every balance was sent to collections. But 20+ years with no issues to find out that this is a policy is pretty sucky. To sum it up....I liked Dr. Thomas (Phil and Cameron as I was a patient long enough to have both work on my teeth) and I loved Diane. I never really liked any other parts of Kennedy Dental. I especially dislike the business office and they way they crapped on a long-term, loyal family of patients. Do with this review as you please. You can chalk it up to a butt-hurt customer, call me a whiner/Karen/Chad, say I'm in the wrong. That's up to you. But my experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm sure that there are Dental Practices that have good doctors and hygienists that ALSO appreciate their patients and their loyalty. After using this practice for seven years, I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere. New management has taken over or they have changed their policies. I could not get a receipt of the services provided after asking several times, so my Flex Spending account has been frozen. I missed an appointment and was charged a $50 fee - probably standard policy for some places, but when I have given this practice several thousands dollars over the years, it is insulting. The good news is that businesses that treat their customers poorly will lose customers and will cease to exist. read more

Today we had our first appt w Dr Rakes, pediatric dentist. I was blown away by how friendly the staff was! I took 3 kids in & all the ladies were so friendly, chatting away w the kids, etc. They even opened up the dental area door & told me to just come straight in. Some places prefer you to wait in the lobby but it was great to be able to walk around as I pleased. It may have been due to the fact I had 3 kids getting cleaned all at once & there wasn't anyone else there but still, it was appreciated. 3 kids were cleaned, checked out by Dr Rakes & two future appts were made for my oldest son (cavities) & we were out of there in ONE HOUR! That's how we like it! The only reason I didn't give the clinic 5 stars is bc Dr Rakes has two offices so he is only at the Bellevue one on Tues & Ths. That's kind of a pain bc it means my son's next two appts will have to be during the school day & I dont like the kids to miss school. I would highly recommend Dr Rakes for anyone looking for a ped dentist! read more

I have been a Kennedy Dental client for over 30 years. I am not very happy with the behavior of the front reception staff. One girl named Corrine was bad mouthing a customer today when I was making a follow up appointment. She and a few others were saying the customer's bill went to collection and they were saying her name aloud. I heard it as did anyone in the waiting room. Also the place is dirty and run down. The bathrooms are filthy. It makes me uneasy when a place is this dirty and when staff openly discuss confidential information about clients in front of other customers. read more

My family and I are new to Nebraska and I was a little nervous about finding a dentist. I made an appointment with Dr. Carpenter and I am so glad that I found him and his team! I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old and they both loved their experience. Cindy, the dental hygienist, was absolutely wonderful. Both of my children were nervous at first, but after talking with Cindy they were actually fighting over who would be first to get their teeth cleaned. I would recommend Kennedy Dental, specifically Dr. Carpenter, to everyone! read more
