I have been going since they opened and have watched the evolution of this place. The chimichurri served with the bread was fresh in the beginning and absolutely wonderful. Now it is still good but made with some lime juice and in bulk so it has lost that fresh pop. All the grilled items are great, try the sweetbread appetizer and the brochettes. It happens to be around the corner from the condo I rented. Overall, the ambiance is nice with great outside decor. There's a Foosball table at the left corner near the kitchen. Girls loved it! Unfortunately, their gas was out that evening and only the grill was working. I had a Ribeye- med rare, and it came out to perfection, my side was a very basic salad. Girls had grilled chicken and salad. The taste was good, but I was sadden that we could not get any potatoes or another side with our meal. Just a FYI- you can grill veggies or potatoes- no need for gas. read more

We found this place just a block away from where we were staying and it is a gem. A very sweet waitress, the best meat I have ever had, a table football so the six year old was happy, dining outdoors and watching the other guests learn Argentinian tango was wonderful. Be sure to try the 'pies' - they are actually empanadas and wonderful. Also recommend the flank steak which is amazing and marinated in chimichurri. read more

As good as it gets. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere is open air with a nice breeze flowing through. There was beautiful singing coming from a solo artist who was sitting in a chair drinking wine, she performed around 6 or 7 songs. The marinated flank steak cooked medium rare was one of the best I've ever had in this lifetime. I loved the bread with the garlic chimichurri. The house red wine was a nice compliment to the ensemble of steak, salad, bread and music. To top it all off I am happy to report that the Grandmas Flan was also one of the best I've had. This is a perfect date spot, or a spot to come do some work on your laptop as you eat. The staff was attentive and friendly. They hold dance classes, theater events and also do live music. Service has slipped since they first opened. Kitchen forgot my order and left me hanging out for an hour. Then slapped my overpriced hamburger on the table, which was undercooked and really mediocre. They need to step it up a notch or they will be closing very soon. read more

This is a small argentine grill on 25th ave, a couple of blocks from the main tourist trip. We stumbled upon it last night and had a pretty tasty dinner. I had chicken with mashed potatoes and a water. Nothing fancy, the total damage was about $7-$8 USD after conversion. The waitress (from Cordoba) was very friendly. If I went again i'd have to see if I could eat some amazing beef from Argentina this time. read more

Definitely the best meal we've had thus far in PDC. We live in SF and consider ourselves humble food snobs. Our waitress was super sweet and efficient. She informed us it was her family's operation. We're all for supporting mom n pop shops versus cheesy generic chains. Steak was divine, chic was excellent, chorizo grilled to perfection, and THE brightest and freshest salads ever. The stand out surprise was her mom's pickled aubergines-WOW and MMM!!!. The space, atmosphere, music were all ideal and perfect. Simply the cleanest, freshest, simply prepared proteins and salads one can get. Will for sure go back, over and over again! read more

Mas o menos The restaurant has a cute and relaxed vibe. Steaks were of good quality but the execution was not as authentic as we would have liked. My husband is an Argentinian chef and we knew something was up when the food came out very quickly. Despite asking for the meat to be a "medium", the meat should be cooked more slowly and over lower coal fire instead of quickly over flames. We were so disappointed that they didn't have the cut of meat we had seen on the menu previously, "molleja". The empanadas cortadas al cuchillo were not the authentic recipe either. They should have cut meat, green olives, onions and sometimes hard boiled eggs as well as spices. The ones we had at this restaurant were simply a different recipe, they tasted good but not what we expected. The chorizo was delicious and comparable to what you find in Argentina! We ordered quite a bit of food in order to try various cuts of meat and asked for a box at the end to take what we could not finish. We never received that box. In addition, there was no visible sign to indicate that credit cards are not accepted, so after we ate we had to walk to three separate ATMs in the neighborhood to find one which had cash, then go back and pay. All in all, if you're looking for good steak, but if you're homesick for super authentic Argentine food, you might be disappointed. read more
