Our conversation was about living close to each other and hanging out as well playing in bands. Maybe he was having a hard night, maybe I said something that annoyed him (not sure how). I'm curious to know why I was being asked to leave so rudely while everyone else could stay. No matter, never going back. Might contact owner and file a complaint. Dive bar indeed

I ordered the dirty bird chicken wings, and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. We had the first food that came out. Wings were cold and did not have much sauce on them. Ordered more sauce cost me a dollar for a little cup. We asked about the wings and they said they are smoked now so I'm guessing they sit back there under a heat lamp. Probably the reason they were very dry and I had to order more sauce. I was hoping that when I dipped it in the ranch it would help but none of the ranch stuck on my wing. I've seen water that was thicker. Was looking forward to the old bacon cheeseburger, the Pump used to serve. This cheeseburger is nothing like the old one. The size of the patty is what you get at a little league baseball game. It was also overcook and dry and cold. Wondering if that was under a heat lamp also. They do not have Bud Light or Coors light! PBR's are five dollars! Pitcher of beer is $25! No beer buckets! Looks like a dive bar doesn't taste or drink like one!!!! So I spent $28 and tipped 20%. So I ended up spending just under $35. I can go to the Faded Rose or Brave New for that amount.

From the outside, the vibe was giving hole in the wall - what's NOT to love about that?? We were seated and it has a funky backyard psychedelic vibe, but it adds to the character. If you're looking for movie theater or airplane cold, this is not the place. It was slightly above comfortable temperature wise. I'll make this as brief, but succinct as possible. Our server was very very slow to attend. We ordered drinks and appetizers as we could already tell that time wasn't on our side. At least we'd eat while waiting for entrees. The menu appeared exciting - again, I wanted to love this place. We ordered the chicken fries (like how are you out of the cluck puppies as a chicken restaurant), fried green tomatoes and the fried cauliflower. It took it a minute to arrive (and that's being generous). Another server (sweet young lady with pig tails) filled our beverages as she could see our server was MIA - well not really but to us he was. She apologized and said that he has a larger table as well - we were looking right at it. 5 people is not a larger table, but I digress. We decided that we would leave, BUT if the appetizers were indeed good that we would stay. Finally they came. The chicken fries, basic. You mean to tell me that you minced a chicken tender and sprinkled it on fries and that's it? The fries were good though. . The cauliflower was fried to absolute perfection - but how do you not toss it in the sauce? I've got to dip it... really.. and the sauces that were desirable aren't even offered for cauliflower. Here's the kicker - the fried green tomatoes were so laden with grease that I had to take paper towels to soak them up enough to eat? Did someone think this was ok to serve? We decided to just cash out and leave. When the server came back to take our order, we just chose to get the check and pay. He was VISIBLY not impressed that we chose to not order anymore food. Would you? Well, maybe you would, but NOT us. Bonus point - upon leaving we saw that they had a bar area. Maybe it would have been a better experience sitting there ‍

This was the choice location of the bride at a recent wedding I attended 'back home'. We started early and our clan quickly filled the entire back pool room, reminiscing over old times. It was great seeing so many smiling faces of friends I grew up with, but even better feeling so comfortable there all night. Before long, people moved up front to start dancing - then after a few stiff drinks - everyone wanted to get up and sang (intentionally misspelled, for correct Southern pronunciation). I had a blast - at least what I can recall of the evening was fun. Good times indeed - yee haw. Don't get out of line, or you'll have Brenda to deal with! ;)

I've been a server for over 25 years and he's been for 20 years we we've never treated with such rudeness and disrespect.. it was appalling then we got charged $4 a piece for a draft beer and when we left the owner had the audacity to shut the door and lock it as we left. Like we were two criminals that just robbed the joint.. if you were spectators to this you would have also been disgusted I'll never go back there and I hope none of my friends do either
