It is intended to share my honest perspective, as is my right under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). Readers should conduct their own research, form their own opinions, and proceed accordingly when choosing legal representation. My overall experience with this attorney did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I did not achieve the objectives I had hoped for, and my situation worsened during the course of representation. My case took a significant amount of time to get filed, and communication with the attorney was challenging. During our three in-person meetings, no clear goals or deadlines were established. As a result, my family and I faced serious consequences, including the risk of foreclosure on our home, the repossession of my truck, and significant emotional distress. An emergency bankruptcy was filed only after my truck was repossessed, which left me unable to earn income. This, in turn, affected my ability to make Chapter 13 payments, leading to the dismissal of my case despite my efforts to secure employment. I was not notified when my case was closed and only learned about it through a letter from the court and a different attorney who informed me that my mother's home was at risk of being sold by the bank. I found the lack of communication and clarity regarding my case deeply frustrating. In my opinion, the attorney abandoned my case and has not responded to my attempts to seek clarification or answers about the court correspondence I have received. While I acknowledge that my financial difficulties are ultimately my responsibility, I sought this attorney's help in good faith to navigate my circumstances. I had hoped for more proactive communication and exploration of alternative options, such as filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, which might have better addressed my situation. My mother also had a case with this attorney, which was similarly discontinued. However, in her case, the attorney made an effort to notify her and connect her with a different attorney. It remains unclear to us why her case was not pursued further. I want to emphasize that my experience with the attorney's paralegals was excellent. Carmen, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me and was consistently available to address my concerns. I greatly appreciate her efforts and professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not work with this attorney again. However, I encourage others to conduct their own research and make their own decisions when selecting legal representation. Edit: To retaliate is to return a harmful action with another harmful one, often in an attempt to get revenge or "even the score". Some examples include throwing a rock after being hit with one, a manager firing an employee for filing a complaint, or a country imposing tariffs after another country imposes them. Writing a fair and honest account of my experience with any business is a Constitutionally protected right. The implication that my review is retaliation in and of itself suggests that harm was somehow done to me first, so what exactly is being said here? It is categorically false and I can assure that my fair and honest review was posted simply to share my experiences with this attorney as many other people have done. It's not irregular or retaliatory for customers to review their experiences. It's part of a healthy open market system that promotes transparency and helps others make informed decisions. The personal attacks posted in response to my review are shocking and unacceptable. Revealing private information about my case is highly concerning because it violates the duty of confidentiality. This duty is protected by strict professional rules. The narrative presented in the comments is missing context and for the most part untrue.

She was able to not only devise that plan, but she did the harder part: getting all family members to agree and feel good moving forward. She's caring, creative, and I'm happy to work with her again when the need arises.

I was injured, pretty significantly, in January of 2023. After receiving initial treatment, post accident, I started researching legal options. After interviewing countless attorneys, I chose Brent and his practice. His reputation and track record were second to none, and his reviews were stellar. I felt extremely well taken care of, after my initial consultation, which continued right up to the day my case settled, some 39 months later. Despite the legal process running it's slow and methodical course, Brent remained with me, week in and week out, calling to check-in on my recovery, as well as offering any and all updates regarding the legal process. In fact, he went even farther, providing me with a ride home, post surgery, as well as stopping by my home on several occasions, to retrieve documentation surrounding my case. To say Brent is just a great attorney, would be selling short that fact that he is an even greater human being. In a world where most are after the money, Brett is the exact opposite. He ensures that the process remains as stress free and transparent as possible, and he always returned my calls, texts, and/or emails, as soon as he was able. If you're searching for more than just legal representation, I highly recommend Brett. Do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation. You'll know immediately whether Brent is for you and your case. He certainly was for me, and I remain grateful to him for his legal prowess and personal friendship.

When I asked him more questions into the process we would be going in, cut me off and was quite rude about it. When I stated that this was most likely not going to work out, he hung up the phone without another word. Can't help but feel this man is not very receptive to people's problems and would not recommend to anyone else.

From the start, Sanaz assessed my situation and addressed my concerns. Once she determined my case could stand on solid ground, she gave me clear directives on what to do and what not to do. I followed these and I felt empowered. Next, I went to work with Chris Ugarteche to prepare my paperwork. I initially filled some of the paperwork out incorrectly and Chris immediately caught this and gave me guidance. Chris has incredible patience, communication, and he knows his stuff inside out. He saw me through this novel experience with empathy. When I appeared before the judge via Zoom, I was at peace knowing that all the i's were dotted and all the t's were crossed. My case was resolved seamlessly. I only wish I had done it sooner. Sanaz's practice is busy. There were some days where I craved an update so I proactively emailed. Sanaz and Chris always responded to me quickly. I could not ask for more. Thank you Sanaz and Chris for the meaningful and life-changing work you so expertly do!
