Until a PGA Superstore comes to town, I suppose PARx Golf is our top golf store. They do have a lot of stuff, including repair services. The only negative was one of the employee's condescending attitude towards my wife. I went to PAR Golf end of December, 2025 with my husband, to have clubs fitted for our 10 year old grandson. S*** helped us, and allowed our grandson to use the simulator to evaluate his swing. We were unaware that there was a charge to use the simulator, but we were looking to purchase over $400 worth of clubs, so, no charge. S*** checked, and said the clubs would be arrive in about a week. Since we would be in NZ at that time, we told S*** our daughter-in-law would pick up the clubs with our grandson. S*** had our contact information as well as hers. A month goes by, with no contact. Come to find out, the clubs arrived quickly, and had been sitting there since end of December! Neither we, nor my daughter-in-law received a call. Today my son (not a golfer, at all!) goes with my grandson to pick up the clubs. We told him to ask to use the simulator, to ensure the clubs were a proper fit. He was told that he had to pay for our grandson to use the simulator!! We called and spoke to K****, who was brusque, to say the least! He said people have to pay to use the simulator. We mentioned that the clubs are for a 10 year old, and he should be evaluated, especially considering the (over) $400 cost! He then said the simulator was busy. We understand that. He said, "Ma'am, what would you like me to do"? I mentioned that I would like him to be able to schedule the simulator for our grandson, so he could get any advice needed, as he is a 10 year old, and our accompanying son is NOT a golfer!! Kevin said he mentioned places near Bend where our grandson can practice using his clubs. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! K**** was rude and dismissive. PAR Golf was very helpful and solicitous when we were purchasing a large ticket item, then washed their hands of us, even when they had all our contact information! Honestly, I don't think our son will return with our grandson. K**** put him in a very uncomfortable situation which should never have occurred. read more

OK, I went to a box store and asked for help. I asked about a out of stock item that is two years old and without a blink the lady (I'm in a golf store) say es yes we have one used one in stock. Wait she knew her stuff. I pulled out my list and fired off three more clubs and she grabbed them all set me up in the driving range and presto in 30 minutes we were out the door with my new stuff. My lesson today with Andy was great! He was very easy to work with, made several references to baseball which helped out a lot, and was an all around class act and amazing teacher! I've had two previous lessons and they didn't help me much at all with my golf game. I was told to check out Andy and his shop while I was in Bend and I'm so glad that I did! I hope that I get a chance for another lesson while I'm in town! The shop is also well stocked with a huge selection of clubs and accessories. I would like to post this review so other golfers will know that this place should be avoided at all costs. I purchased an $1800 set of fitted clubs for my son as a special gift at this store. He had them fitted and dealt with the owner, Andy, himself as I am not from Bend. When he picked up his clubs, he was missing a 3 iron which was to be included. He was also charged twice for a set of golf balls. He was given a $75 in store credit which was fine with my son as he needed a pair of shoes. Well, 8 months later he still did not have his shoes despite multiple phone calls and several personal visits from my son. Well, I was in town and we stopped in to once again find out what was the problem. After dealing with a sales person we were getting no where. Then we asked for Andy who promptly arrived. After about 10 minutes of paper shuffling and excuses I had heard enough. I firmly asked him if he was going to honor the credit or not. I was told that he would not deal with me but would rather deal with my son. I think this owner felt he could take advantage of a younger inexperienced individual and that really speaks volumes of the lack of integrity of this establishment. After a tense exchange the owner did relent and my son was given the credit, bought some merchandise and left. My point is that the lack of honesty and integrity of this establishment is a problem and I would advise all golfers to shop elsewhere. read more

We went in to get junior golf shoes for my son. We found the perfect shoe in a catalog and they "ordered" it for us. 2 months, 4 visits to the store, 3 phone calls later, the shoes were still not in. I decided to order them online and had them in 4 days. So much for shopping local. (By the way: They still haven't called to tell us that the shoes have arrived and it has been 6 months... hmmmm) read more
