The dentists and hygienists are so patient and fun that my kids no longer hate going to the dentist. Also, I recently developed an ulcer on my tongue and they got me in the SAME DAY I called. Doctor Sarah Deeds covered all bases to make sure there wasn't anything further going on, explained what I could do to help my tongue heal, gave me prescriptions in case it came to that, and even gave me a referral to an oral surgeon in case my ulcer wouldn't heal. Then she called a few days later to check up on me! Talk about going the extra mile! We sure will miss our friends at The Children's Dentist when we move this fall.

My kids first went in April 2021 for a cleaning. They left with one child in need of a filling which was never booked an appointment for. Then during the summer same child complains of such tooth so I have tried from Sept 2021 to January 2022 to make this kid an appointment to fix her cavity. After trying them multiple times by phone, request appointment off their website and more each month I finally resorted to very negative voicemail in mid January. Finally one of the workers decided to call me back. I requested an appt for the filling to be done and she very rudely asked if I ever got it repaired after April's Appt. I informed her they have never made her an appt and I have been trying to reach them for months. So thankfully after a very stern and not pleasant conversation I had an appt for 2-2-2022 at 9:30am. Fast forward to 2-2-2022 I am driving to the appointment with my child and I get a text 3 mins before 9am saying my child's appointment is for 9am. Ummm no it's not so I call office and like normal voicemail so I tell them this is BS and we're on our way and they are seeing her no matter what they can't keep messing up this kids appointment it's unfair. I get there they take the kids and go back. About 45 mins later the hygienist comes out to tell me all the things we already knew about this kids teeth and informs me it will take 2 more appointments to fix them. Ummm hello NO today was supposed to be the day her tooth was getting filled why did we do a reevaluation again. Hygienist goes to office manager and refutes the reason for her appt and called me a liar. Then with a smirk told me oh and we got your messages. I was so livid that this kids been trying to have her tooth repaired since at minimi Sept 2021 and it's not Feb 2022 and they are still playing games. I told them it's BS and we're going elsewhere. She said thank god and with a smile and laughed. Side not while sitting in the office waiting on my kids 2 receptionist were sitting behind desk and no one but 2 other parents were in waiting room during my 45 minute wait and 7-11 calls came through and not one of those receptionist answered the phones. WTF people! If you care about your kids, their teeth, and want to be treated like a human I highly recommend you go elsewhere.

I dont like to write reviews like this but I am so floored about my interaction with this office I feel I need to warn other moms. I have 3 children that I have taken to be seen here... 2 of them had dental procedures and 1 had just cleanings. The care my youngest daughter received was traumatic to say the least. 2 different procedures and they both ended with infections and we had to seek emergency treatment elsewhere. My daughter had to have a spacer put in due to a tooth being pulled early (not from this office) and weeks after the metal spacer was put in, her gums were inflamed and bleeding. I brought her back to ask if maybe the spacer was put too far into her gums and I was told by the dentist no, she needed to brush better. 2 weeks after that we had to bring her back in and I had to insist that the spacer be removed because you could no longer see it due to her gums being so swollen. The Dr offered no apology, but instead seemed insulted that was pushing for the removal of the spacer. The second issue with my same 6 year old daughter was a filling that was done in their office. They suggested a metal crown should be used to prevent further cavities which we agreed. However, the original cavity was not fully removed before the crown was put on and a few months later my daughter was crying from pain when she was eating and saying there was liquid coming out of her tooth when she chewed... I took her to another office for an evaluation and she had an infection in her tooth so bad that they had to pull it because the cavity had rotted her tooth under the crown!! After all of this, the billing department ran the wrong insurance (an old card on file) and when I asked if they could please submit using the new plan, they said they would, but I could never get anyone to follow back up with me to let me know it was completed. My new plan had better coverage. I then received notices (via text only from a robo number) saying that I had an outstanding balance after I paid over $700 for one appointment for ONE child (WITH INSURANCE)... I called the office to ask what the outstanding balance was and was told it was $46,which I paid. Then a week later I get a notice from debt collection for a balance over $250!! I have NEVER paid so much for dental work for my kids WITH insurance in my life. When I called to ask the office about this charge, (from almost a year ago) the woman in billing was incredibly rude and condescending. As I was finishing my questions she literally talked over me for so long that I had to yell "excuse me!" so I could get my question out. She was very defensive and agressive with me and I can assure you I was not putting her in a position of defense. I was calmly asking for clarification on my balance. The only saving grace of this office is the sweet dental tech who takes the kids X-rays. She is amazing and I loved her. Bottom line - the treatment seemed good, but that proved false as time went on and everyone of authority in this office seems to have a problem being questioned by the very people they are supposed to be serving. I wish I never stepped foot in this office.

They did ask me to hold his hands which also allowed me to provide comfort while they cleaned and examined his teeth. Overall, it was a great first experience and went better than I expected. The front desk staff were friendly and polite. They were understanding since we were about ten minutes late checking in. The office is nicely decorated and very clean. It's new! I like new. They seem to be a good fit for us. Baby loved playing with the toys at their kiddie table and didn't want to leave after his appointment. Haha. If you need a pediatric dentist, give them a try.
