Maria was extremely rude, very confused by my explaining my experience, and then questioned what I really wanted by calling them. She then acted confused when I sent over job postings that told me to contact the number. Extremely unprofessional service, and she accused me of being aggressive when all I did was explain my experience. I explained my experience and sent over my resume, and she said, "No offense, a janitor can do data entry jobs." Keep in mind that I have a master's degree, so this was extremely unprofessional and rude. Do not waste your time with this temp agency; they are not happy with their jobs, as they are there to find jobs for other people. As a recruiter, it should not be hard to review a resume, since your entire job is dealing with them. Listen to the other negative reviews because I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and rudeness from any recruiter before, and I have spoken to many professional recruiters who would never be as unprofessional and rude as Maria.

I don't…read morehave a lot of experience working with a staffing agency so I can't compare it to any other companies but I can give you my opinion on what I have experienced so far. For sure it is a great opportunity for people looking for work as a assembly/packager/order picker - warehouse type worker (which is usually the type of work I am placed in). Usually I get a minimum of 8 hours whenever they find a position for me within a days work, some even ask if you can stay for overtime depending if they need to finish up there projects or not, but when they do it is a chance to earn extra which is always a plus! The people that work at the Exact Staff office is pretty helpful and willing to find you a job if qualifications align with what they are looking for. Usually they will conduct an interview with you and more than likely they will accept you. Also, do not discriminate on gender/age/race. For those that primarily speak Spanish, it is no problem getting work because the two languages spoken when working here are English and Spanish. When it comes to working with companies they place you in it can be a gamble on who you will be working with, but that's every workplace that you first get into. I have gotten nice and some not so very nice but in most cases they have all been great working with. The job can get tiring from repetitive work and heaving lifting depending on your work task but my advice is get ready and prepared before hand! It is basic knowledge but needs heavy reminding: Always have a water bottle in close proximity to stay hydrated, wear proper shoes/clothing - shoes especially because when standing in one position all day can make it cramp and ache, and eat a proper meal so you can stay energized while working. Anything that will help you preform comfortably like using gloves and knee/back braces. Overall, I have gained skills like teamwork, communication, and strategic planning. Also grateful for the relationships formed with the other employees who work aside me. Good luck

I have been trying to contact someone at the Hayward, CA office for three days!! Lina Batchelder is the Recruiting Manager and her phone always go to voicemail. If you leave a message, she NEVER return your call. In fact, no one answer the phones at the Hayward or any office in the SF Bay Area. My calls always get routed to some other office far from the Bay Area or some other state. I thought employment agencies would make sure to answer the phones, so they can hire workers, which means money for the company. This company is the opposite. It seems this company is just a front for something else! True Blue owns Centerline, and I also was never able to contact someone at that company! No matter what dept you call, your call is routed to voicemail. Centerline used to be a good company, but it seems something terrible is going on at the company now.
