Love this store. They have a wide variety of good quality hats in various sizes in different styles at very reasonable prices. My husband has bought a number of hats here and has been very happy. Excellent customer service. They also have shoes, clothing & accessories for men & women. The shoes are good quality name brand types that are good for walking and look good. My name is Marty and I just bought a Sully Jacket #62 from Parts Unknown. The sales lady is Mira. As I walked in our house my wife said I have a package, which she opened by mistake. What's in it I asked. She said take a look. I opened the box and there is was; my Sully Jacket that Mira and I discussed last week. Just looking at it in the box blew me away. I put it on and my wife said it's gorgeous. It was the first time I bought from Parks Unknown, but Mira assured me no matter what she would make sure I was happy. I put it on and let me tell you at 85, I'm styling. I'm strutting around the house and my wife said "that's enough big boy" hang it up and get rid of the box. I purchased a pair of Clarks shoes at Parts Unknown. The first (and only) time I wore the shoes they proved to be defective I promptly returned to the store and spoke with the salesman (Bill) who sold the pair of shoes to me. I explained the defect to Bill and said the shoes presented a tripping hazard. Bill said he experienced the same defect in his pair of Clark's' shoes. Bill said there was nothing he could do about the situation. I asked to speak with the manager and was told the manager was away from the store but would return in 2 days. I asked to speak with the person in charge and was told that no person of authority was in the store. Another salesperson (Regina) overheard my complaint and she said "just give the customer a full refund", but when she realized that I had worn the shoes once, she changed her mind. Regina told me that the manager (Abi) should call me in 2 days. I have 3 complaints. First, the shoes were defective and this defect was known to Bill the salesman and NOT disclosed to me. Second, there was no person of authority at the store to deal with customer issues. Third, I don't know if the manager, Abi, will call me in 2 days, and if so, whether I will receive a full refund. I went into this store in Carmel because my husband liked a shirt in the window. I ended up buying a leather jacket and a pair of shoes. The sales associates were very helpful and friendly. When I got home I realized I did not love the color of the jacket. I called the store and spoke with Brock. He was super helpful....he sent me a picture of the other colors that the jacket came in. I liked the cream jacket. He did not have one in my size at the Carmel store but he ordered one from another store. It arrived in 3 days.He promptly emailed me a return label with free shipping so all I had to do was put the first jacket in the box and send it back. As soon as Brock received it he called me to get my credit card info so he could credit the returned jacket back to my card. Truly appreciated the kind and helpful service I received. I will be sure to shop here again the next time I am in Carmel. Thanks again Brock!! read more

I was given a gift from here at the start of the pandemic. A brighton bracelet that was too small. It was in the bag with the receipt, tag and unable to wear. Due to the pandemic it made it difficult to impossible to travel safely and was unable to get there until today. When i tried to return for just a store credit or even a partial credit. They were unwilling to work with me in any way. Worst part?! The manager would not come out to speak with us. She allowed her clerk to deliver the answer and stayed in the office.. eating her lunch. Given the year and everything that has gone on i find it the poorest of customer service to not attempt to satisfy a customer. I most likely would have spent more as they had a lot that i liked in the store. I gave been in customer service management for 40 years. Never would i or my staff be so unwilling to help anyone as much as this manager was. Sad, although i am sure this will go nowhere i wanted to voice my experience. Be forewarned their clothes are not of the highest quality despite the very high price tags. Bought a blouse there which shrunk with hand-washing although the tag clearly indicated that it was machine washable. The manager David is a total jerk and does not stand behind his products (his response was that "I expect all clothes to shrink"!). Obviously previous reviewers dealt with a completely different manager and customer service policy. I was told by an employee they're having some problems with employees walking off the job etc. FOLLOW UP TO THIS REVIEW: I contacted the manufacturer of this shirt directly and they apologized profusely and acknowledged that that shirt/material had manufacturing defects and they knew about it and had already taken steps to correct. They offered to replace and I received the replacement (different shirt, unfortunately, but without defects!) which contained another apology and a thank you for allowing them to replace. Again, buyer-beware on the "customer service" policies of Parts Unknown. read more

I like the store because of its leather goods, ugg boots selection, and Brighton items. Unfortunately, a salesperson inmediately accosts you when you walk in the door and follow you around like a lost puppy. Its quite annoying when all you want to do casually browse. Parts Unknown is a place for all ages. It is located in touristy Carmel Plaza so I would not have ventured in if it wasn't for a good friend. This place offers one of a kind leather goods. Although I'm not personally a big fan of leather jackets I think they are damn sexy. Some of their shoe selection... very hip and sexy. They have killer UGG Moccasins and I found the Toddler UGG selection uber adorable. I look forward to picking up a pair for my friends that are Mommy's to be! My friend found a gorgeous leather jacket that fit her like it was custom made. NIce find! Some items can be pricey but quality is very good which is rare these days. I found two lovely tops and took a gorgoeus Dark Iris Blue one home, I thought it was very unique. Not a place I would shop at on a weekly basis (yeah I like to shop a lot) but definately a great place to find a special gift or a one-of-a-kind gift for yourself! HORRIBLE customer service and DEFECTIVE products. I purchased an $8.00 bottle of UGG Water and Stain repellent at Parts Unknown to protect my $200 UGGs. That night I discovered the spray was gummy and clumped up in the bottle. I returned the very next day to simply exchange the spray for a new one. I was told by various sales women that only the manger could handle an even $8.00 exchange. And the manager was not in that day. Jessica was the woman in charge and refused to exchange the bad spray stating it was not store policy and she didn't want to get fired. So I left with the spray but will be returning the UGGs and will give somewhere like Hedi's my business and will be sure to tell my friends and family as well. Hope it was worth the inability to make a simple EVEN exchange on a defective product you sold and refused to exchange. You can get UGGs anywhere but great customer service and satisfaction you will not find at Parts Unknown. read more
