I got 6 boxes delivered to my house I was like this is great but unfortunately they had sent 12 bags of litter instead of 6 they had also charged my bank account for 6 bags I had not ordered I waited for Monday morning and put a call into PetSmart and although they were sorry that this happened all they could do is have it picked up and when they got the merchandise back in Ohio then they would process my refund I felt like your having it picked up they should immediately return my money why should I have to wait up to 30 days for my money so I asked to speak with a supervisor and all Mr Anthony could do is speak to me as if I was a moron telling me he was just trying to educate me on there procedures he would not listen to anything I said I did not order 12 bags of kitty litter the floor consultant that works for PetSmart hit the deliver immediately twice but now I am being penalized for it I did not order 12 I only wanted six they had no right to take money I did not authorize.then they would hold on to my money until they were satisfied with their return why should I have to wait for anything it was their consultants mistake by the time my conversation with Mr Anthony was at an end I told him I would keep the 12 bags but I would never do business with pet smart again they need to send Mr Anthony back to school to learn the golden rule the customer is always right get an education Mr Anthony and get your stuck up nose out of the air . I'm leaving a one star rating only because I can't leave a big fat zero rating!!!!!

He came in with this yellow stuff in a syringe and injected her in the spine. My poor Bella was terrified and suffered the last 10 minutes of her life. She was thrashing her head back and forth and trying to get us to help her. He came in several times while she was suffering and said this is how it goes for some dogs. I kept asking for the vet because this is not how it goes. My poor baby suffered so bad for the last 10 minutes of her life. When he came back in with the vet my poor suffering baby tried to get under my husband's legs but all she could do was move her head but he came over and pinned her head to the floor while the vet came in and killed her. My poor baby suffered so badly the last 10 minutes of her life because this guy who calls himself a nurse tortured her. He tortured her. He had his hands around her throat as he was pinning her head down. She was tortured to death instead of peacefully leaving this earth. My Cody had been on previous classes with a different trainer but there were lots of basics that were not mastered at all. The dog would barely listen which is the most important and most basic skill you'd need. She took him in and patiently but determinedly worked on him from the basics all the way to an obedient dog. Our dog had excessive car anxiety and over-reactiveness towards other dogs and she managed to work extensively on these issues in addition to all the basic and advanced obedience commands that a dog should possess. She even developed a plan to get him to a service dog level and the outcome has been amazing. Her approach of taking the dog in, training the dog herself for a period of time, then delivering the dog and continuing on an ongoing basis with the dog's owner is brilliant as the dog needs to not only learn all she teaches but also learn to follow the same discipline from the dog's owner. That's precisely the reason for transferring over the dog back to it's owner at a certain point. Once the dog is transferred over back to its owner, she continues to deliver lessons on a recurring basis both with and without the dog's owner and she very thoughtfully accommodates to the owner's schedule and specific needs/concerns. If you are looking for a trainer that actually puts this much thought, effort, and passion, then Dawn Hoppe is definitely you one and only person to go to. If you want a dog trainer that knows what she's doing, a trainer that customizes her training plan to your specific needs/concerns, then Dawn Hoppe is the one and only trainer to go to. While other trainers will not guarantee any results, she will work with you and will not stop until the owner's needs/concerns are fully and completely addressed! Thank you Dawn for all you've done and everything you continue to do for us!

Very suspect. The County shows several Code violations, which have NOT been corrected leaving the on-site staff and animals living in poor conditions. Also, as a former board member of an international Non-Profit, I find the lack of response to my query irresponsible at best. The IRS should investigate. This doesn't change the fact that they breed dogs with several health conditions. I have spoken to several people who have breeder dogs, and their vets have stated that these dogs should not be bred because they are too sick. However, New Horizons REFUSES to release these dogs! Unfortunately, many people are afraid to speak out because New Horizons threatens them. Just Google New Horizons Service Dogs, and you will find several negative reviews over the years. Very sad and unfortunate. If you do receive a dog from them make sure you receive the veterinary records. Don't believe them when they say "I'll get them for you" make sure you have it in your hand! If you buy a puppy or dog it's illegal to sell a dog without the "official certificate of veterinary inspection." I just want to notify everyone all these RED FLAGS! Holly

Dr. Alshouse is THE BEST. Best, best, BEST! If you have a four legged child you should be bringing…read moreit to Spring Oaks to see Dr. Alshouse. I've been bringing my pup here for probably about 9 years. I've never had a set veterinarian here as usually I am assigned to whoever is available during the appointment time I've selected-- I definitely will always be requesting Dr. Alshouse from this point forward. I ended up here Saturday at 9am for an emergency visit after spending the wee hours of the morning with my pup, Lily, at the Emergency vet. Friday evening she was a bit lethargic, vomited some clear liquid a couple of times *graphic bit coming* and then she had blood start pouring from her butt. An obscene amount of blood. I, of course, panicked and took her to the emergency vet. They did what they could, but told me she needed to come to her regular vet first thing in the morning for more fluids and tests (emergency vet closes at 7am). I phoned Spring Oaks at 8am while en route from Orlando (where we reside) and told the receptionist the situation. She informed me that they were quite busy and that I could come, but there would likely be a long wait. I was thinking "did she not hear me say that the emergency vet said her heart could stop?!" That phone call was pretty much the only "negative" to the experience. I understand that schedules are tight, so I understood her position in not being thrilled to have someone coming in which could throw off the schedule. However, as a mom my only priority was my pup. When I arrived the room was already ready for us and we went in and met with Dr. Alshouse. Even though I had been informed of the tight schedule situation, I never felt at all rushed by Dr. Alshouse. I could see that she was quite concerned over Lily's state. The situation was a lot more severe than I had expected and Dr. Alshouse said Lily would need to be hospitalized for a minimum of 48 hours. Three hours at the emergency vet cost $1200, so when I heard 48 hours of hospitalization I couldn't help but slightly panic over the associated costs. They came back with the projected cost - about $1100 I believe - and said that a 50% deposit would be needed. I was shocked that she could stay in a pet hospital with supervision for 48+ hours for less than 3 hours at the emergency vet! Dr. Alshouse gave us a few extra mins to say goodbyes, etc and informed me that they close at 2 on Saturday, but that I should feel free to come back to visit before that. I went back around 1:15 and all of the staff were very friendly and let me visit with Lily without interruption or making me feel at all rushed. I really needed that extra visit and greatly appreciated it. Dr. Alshouse also made arrangements with me to visit Lily the following day, and gave me several updates throughout her stay via voicemail and even a picture text. Which, again, I really needed and appreciated. Dr. Alshouse took her time when explaining medical related items, answered all my questions, never made me feel like her time with us was limited and really went so far above and beyond. I felt like Lily was in some sort of VIP boutique pet hospital. It was a horrific experience and I really was unsure of the outcome, but knowing that Lily was in Dr. Alshouse's care made it a lot less stressful. I truly believed that Dr. Alshouse would do anything she could to save Lily and to make her stay as comfortable as possible. I've never met a more caring, nurturing or kind veterinarian. My only wish is that she took two legged patients also! A huge thank you to everyone in the practice who cared for Lily during her stay. Everyone's kindness is much appreciated.

I asked what he thought about the enlarged liver and he said "he's a Yorkie that's normal." He said Dr. Krudop would be back Wednesday if I have any other concerns.
