As experienced pup owners, we knew what qualities we wanted, and didn't want in a pet sitter. We struggled to find someone that we trusted with our "baby" and access to our home. One afternoon, we literally bumped into Katie on the corner near our house, and had a quick conversation! That led to scheduling a meet and greet at our home. Chip immediately fell in love with Katie and we loved how thorough she was with all her questions and follow-up questions! Hubby and I immediately scheduled a date night! When Katie & Chip had their scheduled walk & play time, we got the best video follow-up, with a text letting us know how the visit went. Katie even followed up with us the next day to see how Chip was!! Needless to say, we consider Katie & the Nona Paws crew a part of our family. I saw it on my friends phone when traveled together and Nona Paws was caring for my friends pets. My friend has now used their service multiple times and feels completely comfortable with how they handle the house visits in her absence. The pricing turned out to be too steep for what we needed (long trip and two hrs/day) but it would have been a great deal if we had multiple pets as their price is per hour.

They had been booked full for months, but they worked with me and squeezed in an extra spot for my frenchie Bella. I had no other options so I am so glad that it all worked out! Julie is so nice and she sent me updates, pictures and videos of Bella every single day. Bella went to the dog park everyday, and she even got to snuggle with them in their bed! She was spoiled rotten, and I am so glad that she wasn't stuck in a kennel all day. Vet #10 & counting 2. Too many unqualified vets trained abroad (islands & East) 3. Poor craft of knowledge 4. Poor cust svc 5. Unsavory & less than mentally sound techs 6. Creepy vets These are just a few gd reasons why we travel so far. Our Darby Darling: We lost our paw princess Sat., 7am on 4/24/21 as she quietly fell asleep in death over nite. Windermere Vet #10: We went to our 10th Windermere vet 3 miles fm our hm. We decided to engage the Windermere vet, during the pandemic, for just such an emerg. Their Sat. hrs. were 8am-1230pm but it was dark bet. 8am-10am. We saw 6 cars at the annex bld, knocked on the glassdoor, a male waved for us to wait, turned sideways, cont. on his call, not mindful enough to call another staffer, & we waited til 10am. They kept us waiting fm 8am-10am. We were the only customer car in the lot & all lites were off. We finally called Countryside, left, & took the hr. drive down the 429 to I4. Countryside: We wiped our well groomed little girl, dressed her in her lovely yellow floral dress, laid her on her fuchsia ladybug blanket, rolled her yellow blankie under her head, & placed her in her cozy bed. We were rec'vd with compassion & Our Darby girl will recv an honorably rest fm her final journey.

He came in with this yellow stuff in a syringe and injected her in the spine. My poor Bella was terrified and suffered the last 10 minutes of her life. She was thrashing her head back and forth and trying to get us to help her. He came in several times while she was suffering and said this is how it goes for some dogs. I kept asking for the vet because this is not how it goes. My poor baby suffered so bad for the last 10 minutes of her life. When he came back in with the vet my poor suffering baby tried to get under my husband's legs but all she could do was move her head but he came over and pinned her head to the floor while the vet came in and killed her. My poor baby suffered so badly the last 10 minutes of her life because this guy who calls himself a nurse tortured her. He tortured her. He had his hands around her throat as he was pinning her head down. She was tortured to death instead of peacefully leaving this earth. If you want your pet last minutes of life to be tortured go there. The guy who thinks he is a nurse at a vet specializes in torturing your pet.
