Came in today for party supplies. They only had 2 people working. A guy doing the balloons and a girl at register. There had to be at least 12 people in line. They were under staffed for sure. But this girl was soooo friendly and sweet as she went about doing her job all alone. Didn't even seem like a long wait as she interacted with every customers like she really cared about their party needs. She was awesome read more

Visited PartyCity on a very busy Saturday afternoon. I needed balloons for my daughter, but I didn't need them till the next day. The employees were busy working the balloon department but were very helpful with the selection of the bouquet of balloons I wanted. I'm glad that I ordered the balloons the day before (you have to pay for the balloons), because when I went to pick them up. They were not busy at all. I was able to pick up the time that I told them I would. I would recommend coming back here to get more balloons for any occasion. read more

Poor customer service. I went into the store which was pretty empty to get a couple of mylar balloons for my daughters bday. I was told they stop taking orders 30 minutes before closing. There were also balloons in an already existing bouquet of which I asked if I could have two of those and they said they couldn't separate the bouquet. No customers in line and a couple of customers in the store. I'm not sure whatever happened to customer service or common sense in assisting customers, but the store associate and the manager on duty on 8/27/23 lacked these skills..... and didn't really feel like being bothered. They should have stayed home for the day. read more

Super disappointed, I ordered 2 bouquets of balloons to be ready by 2pm...just to get there and of course it's not ready. i see a store full of people standing around waiting on their orders as well. i was told it would be about 20-30 minutes but it was not guaranteed. Unfortunately I do not have time to wait!! If you ask a customer what time do you need them ready by and cannot fulfill your services, a phone call would have made a world of differences. I drove 45 minutes just to be told oops sorry your order is not ready. So if your reading this review and need your order ready by 2, tell them you need it at 11. read more

Party City is the place to go if you a) want to spend a lot of money and b) you are in need of something specific and c) you need ideas Overall it's a loud, music playing, high shelved party junk place for kids' birthdays, theme parties and graduation faire. I have been here several times and find the staff to be very helpful, circulating around asking if you need help, filling balloons and manning the register. This party city is amazing! Not just for the location and awesome pricing of party needs, but the manager and staff are incredible. We had an issue with another Party City in NM and the manager at this location heard us talking about it. He made sure to let the other stores manager know what happened and to make it right. Our check out clerk also assisted us with a better deal on balloons and they were ready the next day at our scheduled time for pick up. read more

As an event planner, I'm regularly on the hunt for superfluous foreign-assembled schlock to match particular themes, thus I hit this location -- and the store on Wyoming -- pretty frequently. A couple of recent notes about this outlet: Better customer service than the counterpart, poorer organization. I've been approached by employees offering to help my search several times, that's always appreciated. Some notes about products: Honestly, best deal, candy. The stuff they have in bulk is a solid deal, if you like to rot your teeth during a movie, this is the place to stock up. Party favors, particularly balloons and decorations, can be found much cheaper online. Weird factoid: lame piñatas, super small, plenty pricey -- Albuquerque actually has a few piñata stores that rock. But this place pulls through in a pinch for party planners who need to pretty up a party and forget to, you know, plan. read more

I placed a small curbside pick-up order for some birthday gifts and arrived at this Party City to find that they were closed. I'm assuming their hours have fluctuated due to COVID. However, I called the store just be sure and the lady I spoke to told me that she would being my order out to me anyways!!! I am so grateful and relieved because I know that birthdays can be hard to celebrate right now and being able to surprise my niece with fancy balloons will help her feel loved. I wanted to purchase a couple of balloons for my sisters 50th birthday. Wanted to surprise her and decorate the outside of her house before she got home from work. Thought it would cheer her up because her husband was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer and she didn't want to celebrate. The manager Delilah told me it would be a 40 minute wait to fill 2 balloons with helium because she had 2 orders in front of me. There was no one else in the store waiting so the orders were probably pick ups. I kindly told her the situation and since it was only 2 balloons asked if she could take a few seconds to fill. She was insensitive and heartless and did not care. Flexing her power said I'd have to wait. I couldn't wait and walked out in tears because I would not make it before my sister got home. I called a bit later to get her managers name and was told she could not give me that information. I can not believe how making a customer happy meant nothing to her or even caring to do something good for someone who was hurting greatly. It was heartbreaking to say the least. It was only 2 simple balloons and 2 seconds of her time to make someone's day special but instead showed how much she does not care about her customers read more

The location is clean and well staffed. The associates know what the sore has in stock and where to find the items. We were looking for graduation things and they had a very nice selection. The line seemed so long but through their efficiency, we were out of the store quickly. read more

We had a great experience with the staff at this Party City! I had placed an order online for balloons to be delivered to my home for my daughter's birthday and, when the order arrived, we noticed a few balloons were missing so I called the store and they were very helpful with getting the missing balloons to us. They delivered the balloons quickly and include some extra ones. They could have just offered a refund but instead they went above and beyond and helped make my daughter's birthday a great one. read more

I only come here when it is birthday party time. I usually only get balloons from them. The last time I was there they were out of helium. They talked me into buying the balloons and calling to see if they had helium. I called and they do have helium but will not put me on the schedule till I drive back down there and give them the balloons. So now instead of just 2 trips to the store I have to make three. This place was a disaster, granted they are preparing for Halloween (in September). I went to party city looking specifically for party favors, preferably Despicable Me items. There were aisles and aisles of fun party themes, but no Despicable Me items. I asked an employee for help, and he was very friendly. He wasn't sure if they carried the items I was looking for, but stopped what he was doing to ask another employee, he then walked me to the location. I really appreciate good customer service and I thanked him for helping me out. The few items they carried were on the bottom shelf of an end cap. I really thought I'd find something I could use, but I walked out empty handed. I feel like I usually have better luck at other stores when looking for party goods and they are usually less expensive. Party City will not be my first stop in the future when looking for party goods. read more

The bathrooms at this location are absolutely disgusting. We went in right when they opened and my little one needed to potty. Trash on the floor, rust and what looked like mold on the floor, dirty toilets & smelled awful. Nobody helped us when when I did ask for help the lady just said, "Yeah we don't have that". Bad customer service and obviously management doesn't care. read more

They are selling derogatory and offensive costumes depicting Native American in a sub-human image. When confronted about these costumes, the staff was unresponsive, ambivalent and passed blame to the corporate office. Not good! read more
