Generally speaking I am a cheap one about party supplies and end up at the Dollar Store for generic plates and cups. However, sometimes you just need something a step up, because of a theme or whatever and Party City will generally fulfill my needs. They also have a huge balloon section if you need that kind of thing. They really do have a bit of everything for your party needs and their prices are OK. Great location, fair prices... quick to help! I was in a hurry needed a few balloons and I was in and out yesterday no issues.

My cousin had placed an order for delivery to do an intimate gender reveal for my husband and I. When they were out for delivery, they attempted to go to her address even though ours was in the delivery address slot. I just wanted to pop into this party store and grab some invitations for my son's 6th birthday party. Little did I know how I would get sucked into the twilight zone of party madness. They were having an end of summer sale, which apprently means luaus and tiki dances, and I LOVE LUAUS and TIKI DANCES! With "everything summer" for half price I knew I'd need Hawaiian rehab at the end of this shopping trip. I bought tiki torches, plates, invites for next summer - I held out on the lei's b/c something told me it would be a blustery night in February and I would find myself on the couch at home, lounging in my bikini, wrapped in lei's, hinting to my S.O. about our need for sun and beach. It's Party City, so what can I really say. They're all pretty much the same, but a great place to go if you need anything for a party. I called ahead because I felt like the item I needed might not even be sold here. It was and the girl I talked to said they had it and so we drove kinda far to get it. We looked all over the entire store and couldn't find it. The girl I spoke to on the phone helped us but couldn't find it until she realized it might be up in the storage areas at the top of the shelves. She gladly got a ladder and found the only unicorn horn in the store. My three year old was so incredibly happy! Just witnessed the store manager or owner Russ talk down and belittle a female cashier who was just asking for help. This guy is a huge douche and I will never spend any more money here. Had order 2 graduation bouquets for my "adopted seniors" May 12th for a curbside pickup May 19. Received notification that they were shipping to UPS store. I called this guy explained that they were not being shipped but that they must have just put the balloons aside to fill later. Assured I could pick up on the 19th. Then I received notification Sat that they had been delivered and I needed to pick them up. Store closed on Sunday so I call Monday and UPS said that nothing had been delivered. Call party city again, Kayla assures me they will be ready Tues for curbside pickup, even though she couldn't locate my order nor asked what was in the order. Call again today to see if they are ready. Talked to two of the Anthony's that we're going to look into it and call me back. 5:30 - no call back, I call again and get a sob story that he's been too busy to check! Walked in for some balloons for my sons birthday party today there were a few people ahead of me so I expected a little bit of a wait but not 45 minutes for 7 balloons that weren't even fully inflated. Spend 40 dollars on balloons and can't even get decent service with 5 people working up front. read more

Horrible customer service from the manager in front of other employees...which explains why the employee I was working with had a horrible attitude as well. If I could give this store less than one star, I would. I went to this store to buy some last-minute costume supplies for work. When I went the first time, I asked the manager named Anthony if they had any Hawaiian stuff like grass skirts and leis. After looking at me like I had two heads he rudely assured me there was none in the store because they get rid of all of that after the summer. I knew that wasn't true because I've bought these things past the summer before so I just looked on my own. I found the aisle I was looking for and picked out my grass skirts and leis. While I was looking I found an 80s costume prom dress that looked fun so I took my items up to purchase. The lady who checked me out, while pleasant never informed me that Halloween costumes were not refundable at that point. I was on the fence about the prom dress purchase and had I been told I would not be able to return it, I wouldn't have bought it. There were no signs in the store at all saying there were no refunds for costumes nor did the employee tell me this helpful bit of information. So I went home and tried on the dress. It was too small so I returned the next day to the store to return the item. I was met by a girl named Fatima who told me I could not return the item. I said no one told me that and I asked to speak to a manager. She rolled her eyes a little but got on the earpiece to call Anthony, the same manager I dealt with the day before over. He came and was very rude and defensive. I said no one informed me I couldn't return the costume when I bought it yesterday. He informed me that it was on the receipt. And then I looked and indeed, it did say it in very small writing at the bottom of the receipt that returns would not be accepted after a certain date. BUT WHO READS THE SMALL PRINT ON THE RECEIPT?! I asked him to please remind his employees to mention this important piece of information when people are buying Halloween costumes and he said that it was on the receipt and he didn't need to do that. He was very rude and offered no help. The customer service at the store is abysmal and all of the employees that I have dealt with are rude and know nothing about their store inventory or policies. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever. read more

Horrible customer service. Was told that upon providing the phone number there is no need to have receipt when making return, however, when tried to do that was told by the same person it is not true. The individual was very rude and unpleasant. We ended up calling another store and was informed that in fact a return could be done with phone number. Don't bother preordering helium balloons here for a busy day. Pickup times mean nothing to this store, you'll stand for over an hour in line just to be told that the order is "in line but not ready yet". Nobody in the store tells customers which line is for what, and it apparently doesn't occur to management that if it takes more time to fill balloons than there are orders then they need to start early. read more

Bought a costume for my daughter that did not fit. Didn't see the sign saying no refunds. No changing rooms to try on the costumes and of course it doesn't fit when it says one size fits all. Brought it back within 2 hours of us buying it to find out no refunds. So went to the competitor where we could try it on and the prices were actually cheaper. So no more party city for us for anything. The attitude was weak and all we initially wanted to do was trade it in for another but now we will just skip shopping there all together. I've been here a few times but I'm never going back after today. I needed a few balloons blown up and had a few employees ask me if I needed anything. I was waiting at the counter and told them I was here for balloons. Three employees asked me if I needed help and then just WALKED AWAY. i had an infant in my arms and two small children with me. I stood there for over twenty minutes just waiting. My kids began looking at the card carasoul and an employee who was helping a customer check out snapped at me to make them stop or it would "fall over". They were just looking. I assumed she would help me next but when her customer finished she just walked away leaving me alone at the counter. Another worker came back and forth for a few minutes and my son began looking at the lollipops at the counter. She then told him to stop because these too would fall over. I told her that we needed help, we'd been here awhile and we were getting antsy. My kids were not acting crazy or destructive, but they were bored in a candy store and they were entertaing themselves by looking at all the fun things. She finally rang me up. As we were waiting, we all admired the small balloons on sticks. My children picked them up one by one to show me and then placed them back. The worker Said nastily "they go in really specific spots". Are you kidding me?? We have been in here for forty minutes waiting on you while you do nothing and you are complaining because you may have to rearrange four or five balloons to go back in their "very specific spots"??? They are there at the checkout line so that people will touch them! read more
