I stopped in to get some balloons and graduation decorations. The store was very clean and the two employees that helped me were great. I had to go to another store in the shopping center and they told me my balloons were going to be blown up right away and ready in about 10 minutes. I came back and found that they were done. Customer service here is terrible. I came in on a Sunday morning to get 3 balloons no one was in line nor was there anyone in the store and they told me it would be an hour wait for 3 balloons. No one had name tags on.Girl with really long hair kinda tall low key put my balloon order behind everyone else even though I got there about half an hour earlier. Then she acted like she put the order in but girl I saw right through you.There was also a guy there, short he seemed gay kinda husky sorry for the description but when there are no name tags this is what happends. Terrible customer service due to the fact that the girl I was unfortunate to get was rude. I asked her to do something with the ballons that I've gotten done before but she said that it was not possible to do. I put a Perry plush inside a balloon and wanted it inflated. The girl rudely said it was impossible so I asked her to try it. She did it with an attitude and I specified that I didn't want it all the way blown up. She blew it so much that it bursted. She even stopped 3/4 of the way to check it (it was already the size of a regular blown up balloon). Never coming back to this store, rather drive a mile to go to the one in Covina. read more

So I went in yesterday to buy a really nice b day balloon for my boyfriend and I went to the front counter and there was a girl with glasses she didn't even greet me not a smile or anything she just seemed very annoyed to be there and like I just honestly felt uncomfortable but I told her the balloon I wanted, I paid and she got it for me she didn't even hand it to me she just kind of tossed it on the counter lol she didn't even say thank you or anything. Whyyy do you have such shitty workers Party City this location is very convenient since I live so close but after this experience I'm just going to start going to Covina. Came in for St Patrick's Day balloons and decor. Apparently there was a 45 minute wait to blow up one 24" balloon. Another cashier helping the customer beside me told her customer there was a 30 minute wait. Apparently all online orders are serviced first. Mind you there was no one waiting to pick up balloons nor did they have anyone blowing balloons up either. Cashier was rude about it too. I ended up going to Vons for the balloons instead and was not disappointed. Don't waste your time here. read more

I came here on a saturday night and they close at 8:30. I got there four minutes before closing and the girls working were so nice! Great customer service. I just needed some balloons filled with helium and got them fast and quick. The only thing was one of my jumbo balloon was not tied tight and few away when I went out and left me with just the ribbon. I was so sad and disappointed. I went to this store a few weeks ago and I had a very bad experience with the cashier. I was going to buy birthday balloons and some party hats for my friend's mom's birthday party. Before I went there, I had already checked a few balloons online and made sure that their branch had those few styles in stock. When I got there, a guy inside the store was very nice, polite and he proactively asked if I need help or not. However, when I was looking at the price list of inflating service close to the cashier area, the cashier was staring at me without saying anything. I felt a little embarrassed so I just asked her a question like if I could have only 3 latex balloons out of the 6 inside the package inflated because my car couldn't fit that many balloons. She just told me they charged $0.9 per each without looking at me! When I checked, I asked her to get one of the balloons that I checked online they have it in stock. I gave her the SKU# and a screenshot of that balloon, she was very impolite and asked me if I had looked up their ceiling and their board behind the cashier to see if they hang that balloon out there or not. If not, that means they dont have that one in stock. I was very mad coz I thought there website said they have in stock already and she requested me to look over the samples hanging out there again. I told her I had hard time finding the one I wanted because they have too many samples hanging there. Then she said she didn't know which one I wanted. I wouldn't go to their Baldwin Park store anymore although the other guy inside that store is nice. read more

Poor overall customer service. They closed the store 10 minutes before 9pm and I saw some disappointed faces that raced to get there just to find the door locked. I understand it's Friday, and people want to finish and go home, but not letting people in while your posted hours say you're open is just unprofessional and rude. Been coming here for years and never had any problems. Today I came in for some wedding necessities, once I walked in through the door I heard a voice over a walkie talkie say "security please scan all aisles" and some other stuff. So my assumption was somebody looked suspicious and was trying to steal. Couldn't have been me and my bf considering we had just walked into the store so ignored it and started my shopping. Soon after a very light skinned man with really white blonde hair (I think his name was Jeremy) started watching us while we were throughout the store and really stared at us ALOT. First, that made it extremely uncomfortable and awkward for us. It happened for about 15 min straight and we decided to just leave the store. I understand what they're job requires them to do but this made us feel like we were being picked on. So we decided to leave. I don't think I'll return to this location again. read more

Went in about a week ago to get party supplies for my daughters bday and asked for assistance,only to get ignored by 2women working there. one was somthing with a " T " i didnt catch her name but she was very rude and pointed me in a direction without fully hearing my needs i then walked to another isle where a guy was on the ladder and asked if i needed help i believe his name was Mike, he took me right to the items i was looking for and even offered further assistance if i needed to find another item THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE. the prices are eh the item variety is ok but if you need help i suggest skip the women and just go to Mike at least it felt like he was interested in helping me get my party together. read more

She didn't even walk me to the other items I needed she just simply told me the isles. I didn't get her name but she was a white blonde older lady.
