He then…read morewouldn't blow up another one (I had 4 of the same balloons), said he would have to charge me for a new one, and refused to give me a refund because I brought it in myself. Horrible customer service and I will never come back here. Terrible value, very overpriced for helium. I paid nearly $40 for two balloons because they would not refund me. Highly do not recommend anyone come here. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Added plus, it had a nice front display (not cheap looking like Party City). The customer service was excellent- when we walked in they helped us find what we needed (a giant bow) immediately. When we went to find balloons, James (one of the staff), helped me find the right ones. He also saved us from deflated balloons. We went the store the day before the party and he asked us when the party was because certain balloons only last 24 hours; it's a good thing he checked because we ended up needing to pick up the balloons the next day otherwise they would've deflated before the event! I was incredibly impressed with how thorough he was. He kept helping my group- it's obvious he's going above and beyond at his job. The other woman working was also lovely- really all the staff! The store also had a great selection of items and good hours- great find!!!! SKIP PARTY CITY AND GO TO THIS PLACE!

We saw quite a few things with no prices displayed at all. I bought a package of squirt guns for an…read moreupcoming family reunion. They were priced $9. When they charged me $10.50 instead, I questioned it. One cashier (female with reddish hair) walked over so I could show her the displayed price. She acknowledged that the price was, in fact, shown as $9, then kept shrugging her shoulders and repeating, "I don't know what to tell you." I told her that I should be given $1.50 refund, and she said they couldn't do that. She just kept shrugging and saying she didn't know what to tell me. Me, and all 7 family members that were with me, were shocked at the fact that she didn't seem to care and at the fact that they could not, according to her, give me a refund for the difference. I ended up walking out, but then realized that I should get a picture of the displayed price tags. I immediately (within seconds) went back in, but the cashier had already ripped the price tags down. The cashier who had rung up my purchase (female with multi-colored hair) saw me and basically scolded me for not coming to her about the issue - she was with other customers, though. ? When I walked back over to the counter, both female cashiers told me that things ring up the wrong price ALL THE TIME and there is nothing they can do. They said that the price stickers might have been from last year. It's not the $1.50 that is the issue. It is the COMPLETE LACK OF CARE of the employees that has me stunned. They did NOT care AT ALL. To them, it was just standard operating procedure. We will not be purchasing anything from Party City in the future. The staff at this store definitely needs trained on how to do their jobs.

I didn't walk around the store itself so I can't really speak to how much merchandise is in stock, etc or the status of any areas other than the cash wrap and balloon area. I will say they were quite professional with some of the folks that were not. I decided to go outside and wait for my order to give them space to be able to do what they needed to do without the pressure of customers all around. Sure enough, within 10-15 minutes my order was ready. Thanks guys. Note: a bag to transport balloons is $1

Looks like I am adding to an already crap rating. Not surprised…read more Here goes - I purchased cowboy hats on 10/22/24 (or around that date) for a party, it didn't work out and when I tried to return them on 10/25/24 with labels and receipt, I was told by the manager, Brandon, that they could not be returned due to their Halloween return policy. I tried to explain that nowhere on the hats, the labels, or aisle where they were located did it indicate they were Halloween items. Further, no one told me at the time of purchase that they would not be returnable. Brandon insisted that I could only purchase items from the store at or around the price of the hats to receive a refund. He suggested I pick up things like candy, etc. I requested another manager, Shirley, and got the same answer but with attitude. I was frustrated and stormed out, but my daughter was with me suggested that I just pick up random merchandise from the store, and return it later. I went back in to gather random items that added up to the cost of the hats, a random cashier (sensing my plan maybe) claimed I could only purchase Halloween products. I stated, again, this was not written anywhere and not what Brandon and Shirley said. Eventually, after jumping through hoops, I was able to get my money back--by returning the exchanged products at a different Party City the very next day. So what was the point really? In contrast, I had purchased other cowboy hats from another online retailer, and returning them was seamless--they just required me to scan a code and drop them off. This whole experience--terrible customer service, unhelpful managers, lying cashiers, and ridiculous policies--is enough for me to break it off with Party City for good. Party City, it's you, not me. In a competitive market, where customers have endless options, your outdated policies and poor treatment of customers do not bode well. I will be snickering when I see the Going Out of Business sale.

I dont even know where to begin! Jessica was AMAZING! Since the initial phone call I made to her…read moreasking for information to her proposal and just all around understanding of how I work, she was full on amazing. I met Main Street at a Bridal Showcase and did a little research. After feeling confident they were great, I e-mailed Jessica with my vendor list and schedule along with "who I am". I explained that I am a Control Freak (not to be confused with a GroomZilla) but I like to know and direct things. Jessica assured me that it was not a problem and she was very confident in being able to work with me. She was even willing and able to work out a payment plan (since I did contact her pretty late in the process). Once we signed the proposal and started working together, she went through a lot of the things I had already sought out (vendor's, etc) and was asking questions about things I didnt' even think about. She was a great sounding board for inquiries about many things when I wasn't even sure. Moreover, she attended our 30-day walk-through and was understanding of how I needed to see things fully done and not just in a very 'half' way. She understood our vision for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and more importantly - the party. Since my Mother in Law and Brother were doing the flowers and DJ respectively, she understood the liasing portion and was very good at communicating with me and them about their schedule. When she published the schedule to us, I had some comments, questions, concerns to which she changed, asked me, explained, and clarified to have a good schedule of timeline to get this party going. Further, she provided a floor plan for the space for us to visualize our idea which came in super handy during the event for the catering staff. We had a minor hiccup with the photographer, and I asked to talk to her about everything so she contacted me and again was a sounding board for my concerns and made me feel at ease and at peace. The day of, we ran in to traffic (thanks Nothern Virginia...) I gave her a call and she was super accomodating. Knowing the stress my husband and I were going to be going through, she told me to let her handle it. She brought things I thought of at the last minute and took care of our escort cards, reviewed things where we put them and helped ensure everything was perfect, which it was. We can't thank Jessica enough for what she did and how she really handled the clean up effort, gave us ideas for how to move things, change things, and ultimately, make the wedding a huge success. I would strongly recommend Main Street Weddings for all your wedding needs. I know I am recommending her already. Many of our guests who were there saw how calm I was (because they know Im a little crazy) and I stated it was a lot of Jessica who was in charge so I could let loose, and let loose I did Thank you Jessica and Trudy. You guys truly rock.
