My daughter and I went into Party City on Super Bowl LVIII 2024 day!!!! It was sooooo busy!!! Balloon bags for pre-orders, for the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49s were everywhere in the store! All of the aisles were filled with balloons! The registers were packed, and so many customers were over in the balloon area, central within Party City! It certainly was a party inside the store for Super Bowl Sunday! This Party City location is off of the 95N/Ann Exit. It's right next to Trader Joes and Yogurtland. There are a lot of parking spots available! We had to go Valentine's shopping for her school party! Looking through the aisles we spotted some large packs of small goodies and toys to put in Valentines bags for her school class. There was also a small section dedicated to Valentines gifts, so we were able to find Valentines themed bags at Party City. The store was well organized and stocked. It was just extremely busy with Super Bowl Sunday! We were able to find exactly what we were looking for at the store though! It wasn't too expensive for all of the gifts, approximately $40.00 for everything! We waited about 10 minutes in a line though for check out. All of the registers were occupied by Party City team members, so, it was going relatively quickly! Ok, if you ever need a balloon, go to a place that understands the laws of the state and are not lazy! These people want to make the sale! After my ridiculous experience at the dollar tree, where they told me they couldn't sell me a balloon without the weight but they wouldn't let me purchase anything in the store for a weight. Party city was like you can purchase any one of our thousands of different weights or even anything else in the store would work as long as it had weight or you can even ask them to tie them to your keys and that would work. The store is super helpful for quick items that you need for Halloween or a party. The people that work at this location are very friendly when you enter the door. I enjoy the variety of options of styles and colors for the things they carry. Some of the items are a bit more than you would expect to pay, but the selection makes up for it. read more

I was in here on March 10 about 4pm and the customer service was phenomenal. There were 3 younger women working. One at the balloon station greeted me right away and offered my son a balloon. Another girl blew up our balloon order and let my son watch. And the young lady at the check out interacted with my son and showed him how she curled ribbon. It's little things like that and those interactions that make all the difference in an experience. I've always had great customer service here, though I usually do curbside pick up. Horrible customer service! I arrived to the store, only to find bare shelves. When I asked an employee for assistance he seemed quite annoyed, I asked if they were out of stock on items and he told me no they were remodeling the store and turned to walk away... I said, may I ask you for assistance in locating something... his annoyance continued and I asked for the specific design and items I was looking for and he radioed to find out that the items were packed away and not accessible... I was disappointed, and proceeded to ask, is there a free shipping code you can provide since I will need to now order the items online and he said I don't know to which I replied.... would you mind checking? And the once again he radioed and the response given was, you can google and look online to see if you can find something. I called to make sure they had a specific balloon in a specific color and the girl that answered told me "well we just got inventory so we should have that" I asked well can you make sure because online two days ago it said you didn't have it and I don't want to drive all the way there for nothing. Her response was "I'm pretty sure it's here because we just got loads of inventory". Too lazy to go look? I spent $50 on filling up Balloons that I brought in only to have them get tangled to shit in the parking lot when a gust of wind came at me when I was trying to get them to the car. Family & I paid this Party City a visit because we needed to get some supplies & order balloons for a party we were having for our kids. First impression, I thought it was smaller than their previous location that was located on Tropical & Centennial. The staff was helpful when we picked out the girls' balloons. Prices are decent, but some items are a bit more expensive. I wouldn't buy their bags of candies here. I know they're cheaper at Walmart or Sam's Clubs. The other day, however, I placed an order online to have it picked up. I ordered two cake stands. I guess you have to connect the cake stand and the plate together. I tried doing that, but the fit isn't right at all! I would've thought that they'd check it before giving it to me. I had my husband pick it up btw, & he didn't check to see if the two parts were compatible. Men.. right? Lol, all jokes aside.. Now I see why this place has such terrible reviews. There are a bunch of incompetent people working at this location. And not to forgot, they have no customer service skills. It's like a bunch of zombies working here. This is the second time I've placed a pick up order and had to call because I never received a confirmation on if my order was ready. Second time I was told none of the items I ordered were in stock. I decide to go in because this has happened before where I'm told they don't have it and sure enough they do! I found all items I originally purchased! I asked the manager why is this happening, are they checking in the system and it's showing it's out of stock or do they walk around and look for the item? He told me they need to walk around because they can't look items up in the system. Well, how is it I find all 4 items in less than 5 minutes, but yet the girl I spoke with said none of the items were in stock?? That means, either A. she is lazy and gave a half-assed attempt to search for this items, or B. put me on hold for 5 minutes, pretend to look for the items and just say it's out of stock. It's so pathetic the type of people this place employees, and it's quite sad. If I ever decide to return to this place again, I will make sure I don't place a pick up order and just shop for the items in-person myself. Also, the manager didn't even apologize for what happened which was the icing on the cake. I have been to this party city three times and they have impressed me with their customer service every time! Today was even more remarkable! I had already been to three stores looking for Halloween costumes for my two kids with no luck. As I passed by on my way home I remembered party city has costumes. Thank god I remembered because it was the best experience. My son is in such a hard in between size and he was getting so discouraged. Today we were helped by Dawn who was absolutely amazing. She probably brought us 8 different costumes/sizes until we found one that was perfect and made my son happy. It was busy but she was incredibly patient and helpful with us and all the other customers I saw her with. I would highly recommend this location! read more

It's not just the fact that they are out of helium (even my local Dollar Tree was out), it's the fact that there is no prewarning done to the customers, who most of which mainly are coming specifically for helium. A handwritten sign on the door exposing situation would help a ton! Already wasted 20 minutes driving down there, then had to stand in a 15 minute line with only two cashiers working at a snail's pace, just to be told they were out of helium. My family and I went there yesterday (Thurs., Feb. 20). The store wasn't busy. We got in line and waited as the cashier assisted a lady doing a return. There was another worker at the register doing something. Than another customer stands in line behind us. Than I see two other workers go behind the register look at the line, collect whatever they needed behind the register, joke around and went on their way somewhere else in the store. Another customer joins the line. Than I see another worker look at the customers in line, talk to the workers behind the register and walk off. Than another set of customers join the line. After 20 mins of standing in front of the line I finally go up to the cashier that isn't with a customer asking if there is anyone that can ring us up. Or if he can. He looks at me with annoyance and says he's busy doing a ballon order. Than we ask if he can call anyone else. Than he tells us how they schedule so many people to work the register and so many people for the floor. That there isn't anyone that can help. That we pretty much had to wait for this one cashier to finish with the customer he's been with for 20+ mins. Or wait until he's done doing a balloon order. The whole time the guy that was doing a "balloon order" he was just punching something on the register and looking at the same receipt. Not too sure what the process is for a balloon order but I would think it would be faster than 20 mins.?? I would not suggest to go to this store. Just drive a little further and go to the party city on Rainbow. What's funny, is the one on centennial ended up sending that lady that was doing a return to rainbow ‍ As they were trying to help her on rainbow , at the same time they were able to help other customers. The atmosphere is so gloomy and depressing, the staff are not only unhelpful but they make you as the customer seem like a burden on them.
