Online it said it opened at 10. i got here at 10:50 and still wasn't open and then I walked up to the doors at 11:05 and was told they aren't open yet. Drove 45 minutes for an item that online says they have 2 of. They didn't have it. Big sad

Party City is such a fun store; a great way to kill an afternoon if you don't have much to do. :) On my most recent trip to this location I had to have balloons inflated for a bridal shower. Helium prices have gone up and many of the smaller, locally owned party/card/rental stores don't offer this service anymore or it's very expensive. Surprisingly, I had about 15-20 balloons filled at Party City for $6 bucks. This is a great place for theme parties, hard-to-find party décor, etc. They have anything and everything, but if price is an issue look elsewhere. They can be on the pricier end depending on the item(s). read more

Haha...too funny... these party city reviews are spot on... Every employee in the store... Which I saw only two on a Saturday early evening... Had total sourpuss faces. One item I purchased run of 30% more than the price on the shelf... The manager had to come over to do an override... She came up, rolled her eyes, with this obnoxious frown on her face... Didn't say a word... And just walked away after the override. It's such a festive store... Why can't they hire people who smile? Is that too much to ask for a party store? I think not... read more

Once, I walked into Party CIty. There were no pets there though. The pet store is next door. Don't get these two stores confused. One has pets. One has party stuff. This is the party stuff store. It's probably great if you wanna party, but I wanted pets! read more

My friends and I popped in for some props as we had a few photo shoots coming up. We knew we'd be able to get balloons, hats and masks here so we were excited when entering the store. The store itself is filled with so many goodies, from props to candy to pinatas. We walked over to the balloon counter and asked about getting a large bouquet when the employee snapped back, "Pick your balloons...PAY FOR THEM...then come back and I will fill them." We didn't want to let her ruin our mood so we ignored the attitude and did as she instructed. Then we went for more part favors and when we had our selections--we were greeted by another employee who also had an attitude. It just seemed they didn't want to be there and they weren't afraid to show it. I asked for a large bag to cover our balloons and they snipped, "it's a dollar extra" which I didn't care--but it's the way they said it. It's sad that a place called party city hires moody employees because it makes me think twice about coming back. read more

This place is fun! There is SO much stuff here....I could spend hours just looking around. First, TONS of Halloween costumes and decorations (some of these can get pricey)....Large children's themed party selections....party decorations in any color...large card selection....Wilton supplies...buy candy by the piece. This place really does have everything you could ever want for a party. read more

30-45 minute wait to fill 6 balloons and they were "running out of helium" at 10:30am, so they couldn't sell us the balloons we wanted. Manager did not acknowledge us or apologize. She did have time to condescend to the employee who was trying to sell us the balloons, though. read more

Good selection of products, but they never have enough staff working. Saturday is probably one of the busiest shopping/party days of the year, yet they have ONE person running the checkout. Poor management. I shouldn't have to wait in line for 20 minutes to check out or wait another 30 minutes to have balloons filled. read more

I was so excited to see the new store; It's a Party City Superstore! Decorations for every holiday and so much more! I get all of my party decorations here every year! The wait time others have spoke of for balloons; I easily solved by ordering ahead of time. My order was ready to go when I got there and all the employees I've met have always be very helpful. read more

Horrible customer service and never seems to have enough staff on. If you walk in and order balloons it takes like 40 mins to get them-this has happened to me several times I have been there. I avoid going here-I'll get balloons elsewhere. read more

I'm here as a helper for my nephews graduation party. I live in Cleveland, OH. OK I got there at noon on a Sunday. They had a boat load of people in line. Apparently, everyone was having a graduation party that day. Many people wanted to just pick up their balloons they orderd. Me too. Problem #1 ONE person working. Problem #2 My order is not ready. Spent an hour there. If it's graduation, you need to bust your payroll dollars to employ enough people to actually get the job done! Left store is driving rain storm. HORRIBLE customer service!! This location needs some serious help. There are always long lines and only one cashier. The last time I was in there the line was 13 people long. Several customers entered the store, noticed the line and immediately turned around and left. The poor kid on register called THREE different times for someone to open another register. Finally, after 17 minutes a young girl meanders her way to the front of the store, opens a register and grudgingly helps the next person in line. I ended up getting this young girl....I asked her if there was no manager on duty today and she responded, "I'm the manager." That statement pretty much summed it up for me! read more

I was in the Marion Iowa store, on Friday February 10, 2012, as I approached the checkout counter, the clerk blurted out my e-mail address I think that is TERRIBLE customer service. I don't want just anyone knowing my e-mail address. Please change that immediately or I will no longer shop @ your store. read more
