This is saddest Party City I've been in. No music, bare shelves and very dimly lit isles. What happened to Party City? I used to work at a PC location in San Diego while I was in college and it was a much different experience. This location had no life to it and very little product to offer or decent party supplies. I came here looking for cowboy stuff for gift bags and found very little. A few hanging decor items and some dinnerware. Yikes. If you need balloons, this is your best bet. Beyond that, hit up Target, Walmart or Amazon for your party supply needs. read more

I found my stuff and was the only one in line and there was no one to ring up my purchase. There were 3 employees within eyeshot who were chatting and who did and said nothing to me. They allowed me to wait and then return my items to the shelves and walk out all without comment or making a move toward the counter. I've never seen anything like it before. read more

Don't go to this store expecting them to honor Party City policies. I went to EXCHANGE some Halloween items after Halloween but within my 30 day window. I had the receipt and none of my products had been opened or used. Although the receipt CLEARLY states that I can do so, I was denied the exchange because "they aren't accepting Halloween items." I was told this by a manager, showed my receipt, and they still sent me away. read more

Who doesn't love a party?!?!? Party City has everything you need for any special occasion and offers unique party ideas. It's Halloween time and Party City always come through with costumes for my entire family. There is a back wall full of packaged costumes for kids, teens, adults, couples, and families. Step 1: Select a costume(s), Step 2: Locate a sales associate and give him/her the number and size, Step 3: Try it on!!!!! I highly recommend that you try on the costume(s) to ensure that they are not damaged. *Party City has a strict policy on returns and exchanges especially on WIGS, so choose your purchase wisely.* The aisles are organized and full of accessories to accent your costume. Staff is friendly and offered assistance when needed. This store was clean and organized however; the two small fitting rooms were absolutely trifling and in desperate need of cleaning and disinfectant. Nevertheless Party City has another satisfied customer. My kids are happy with their costumes and looking forward to wearing them to school on Halloween. read more

I had to venture out to Party City this weekend in order to pick up some costumes for a rock show. Yes...my band thought it would be fun to engage in a bit of theatrics for our show at the 5 Spot. Anyhow, this Party City was one of the better ones I've ever visited, and they had loads of really fun stuff for lower prices than I expected. I called the Madison location first, hoping they would have what I needed. As it turns out, they didn't even have any run-of-the-mill Zorro masks...I thought those were the only thing you could find at any costume store in the Western World! Anyhow, this location (which is out near Hermitage and therefore a bit of a drive) had the Zorro masks in five different colors. Despite the fact that it's about as far from Halloween as it gets, Party City was stocked with a pretty extensive supply of hats, masks, costumes and party supplies. The staff was pretty helpful, and (though I couldn't find any sweet medallions) I did manage to locate enough cool stuff to wear for our show. read more

Pretty much any party supply you need you can find it at Party City. The store is big and stuff is pretty well categorized. I went in on Oct. 21st expecting it to be a disorganized madhouse due to the upcoming holiday, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found the "flapper/20's" costume section right away and check out was a breeze. Only complaint is that prices are kind of high. read more

My husband stopped at Party City 3177 Lebanon Pike Nashville Tn today 10-30-2017 to get my 10 year old a Joker Halloween costume. When he got home with it the pants and the shirt was missing out of the costume bag , now my 10 year old has no costume to wear to school tomorrow . We live over an hour away from this store and we also have a very disappointed little boy . Terrible customer service! Had to return a costume that was missing pieces. Had used a coupon. Found another costume that should have been an even exchange and they would not honor my coupon price. Holy crap this place is huge. Everything is put in it's color-coordinated place. And then also theme-coordinated. This makes me happy on a level that a normal person would not understand. The aisles are always so clean, too. They have everything from bachlorette party favors to Halloween costumes to specific themed partyware. Now, let's talk about the staff. They are teenagers. They don't bother you. They do say hello but after that, you're on your own. Obviously, I'm in the minority but I like that no one is following me around, asking me questions. If I need help, I know where they are. At the front. To be frank, if you like to be babysat at a store - and some people do - then you will not like this location. read more

Had to trek out to Party City for a court jester "costume." I contacted the store first to make sure that they had it. I was told that they only had one left. The clerk was nice enough to leave it at the counter. I purchase the item, get home, to discover that it does not have a hat. Really? I contact the store and speak to a manager and explain to her the situation. I emphasize that this was the reason why I called first, to make sure that you had a court jester "costume." She, of course asked who I spoke with and seemed surprised that I had a name and asked for her name as well. She excused the clerk by saying that she probably didn't know that the hat didn't come with the tunic. My statement to her was that the hat was the main reason why someone would want a court jester "costume." The only saving grace was that she offered to leave the hat at the front desk with a discount. How much of a discount, is a mystery right now. The reality is, is that I am going to have to trek back over there, so whatever the discount will not make up on the two round trips that I have to spend in gas and time. read more

very confused on the good ratings here... this is my closest party city so i have always gone here for my party needs but they are always unorganized, always messy and always rude. i totally understand being busy and not being well staffed, but a smile wouldn't hurt. balloons that i order are almost messed up with the wrong bundles, wrong balloons, etc. when addressed, customer service is rude and says "i guess we can fix it for you...". like i said, i totally understand a busy environment but maybe be a little friendlier with your guests. read more
