I don't know why I went back. Same experience every time. The staff is rude & not helpful. They appear annoyed when you ask for help.

This store absolutely ruined my gender reveal. 0/5 stars. Immediately following my anatomy scan, I headed to party city with the gender of my baby sealed in an envelope. Let the cashier know very clearly, that I was the parent and DID NOT want to know the gender. I asked them to dump the confetti poppers out of the original packaging into a bag so there would be no way to find out and she agreed. Got into the car and opened the bag and the poppers I bought were in a bright pink box that said GIRL on it. I went back in to tell them how they ruined an expecting moms party, and all they could say was sorry. I hope they never do that again to another expecting parent. read more

I was looking around party city for Halloween stuff with my friends when a lady approached us (assuming it was the manager) she stormed up to us with a scolding face and asked if we were going to buy anything. We replied and said we were just looking around. She then proceeded, with an ugly tone, telling us to go ahead and leave and motioned us away like she was shooing a rat. She followed us out the door and kept watching us even after we walked out. I have no idea why she did this and I will not be returning to this store ever again. Horrible and rude manager. read more

Warning!! Poor costumers service- I just want to share with you my bad experience with @partycity poor customer service on Brentwood location. I bought 25 light sticks to my sons birthday party (2.99$ each). It was a star wars theme party and those lights sticks supposed to be there light sabers. Unfortunately *half* of them didn't work. I don't need to tell you how aggravating this was, and quite embarrassing as a matter fact. When I came to the store a day later, from some reason they didn't thought it was a big deal. The store manager Brandi, offered me to replace those who didn't work in and you wan the does actually work. Wow I thought to myself, am I supposed to be amazed by her generosity? Well I didn't. I expected a compensation on my aggravation, embarrassment and my time going back and forth to the store. read more

I placed an order for balloons for a 10am pickup for a little girls party. Arrived at 1030 am and they weren't ready. When I called, the manager and store manager couldnt care less. There is huge lack of customer service here. If there were running behind they should have called and let us know. They shouldn't take orders that they can commit to filling on time especially when for a party. They were 45 minutes late. I stopped in to this location recently to grab some buttermints for a gift. I had no idea where to buy these in store, so off to Party City I went. This is a standard Party City, but the staff was very helpful. The manager showed me their variety of options (more than I expected!), and I got exactly what I needed. They had a large variety of seasonal items available as well. I will definitely stop in next time I am planning an event. Very friendly staff and nice variety of products. read more

Party City is the spot where you can find just about anything you need to host a party, whether it be decorations, disposable eating supplies,costumes, wigs, face paint, balloons Lions, Tigers & Bears OH MY!!..pretty much everything in this spot! I figured while I'm here i would look at some Halloween costumes and just price them but ended up finding a great deal on a complete 70's get up with Afro wig and mustache for $39.99!! yes i said $39.99!! couldn't pass that up! They have a few dressing rooms available to check out the gear but don't expect a Macy's dressing room or nothing mannn,...its party city! Customer service was pretty good, even though they had quite a few people in there it didn't take long for me to find someone to assist me and they all seemed very helpful and friendly! I haven't been to a Party City in years. But planning for two separate events, I've needed to go there twice in the past 2 weeks. Both times the Manager Ron has assisted me. He is INCREDIBLE!! He has gone out of his way to help me find EXACTLY what I've been looking for. He knows that store inside and out. He would listen and then even offer better ideas and creative suggestions to what I thought I needed. He makes you feel as though you are the only person in the store, and he has all the time in the world to assist you. They were out of the specific kind of decorative spoons I needed for my event. He called another location across town, and offered to go there and pick up the spoons for me from their location after work. He promised to have them waiting for me first thing in the morning. He saved me a phone call and a drive across town. I'm grateful for Ron's assistance and the way he's managing this store. Well done Ron! read more

Decorating my house for a NYE party this week...where to start other than Party City? Their stuff is a little on the inexpensive side, but I started here. Grabbed a table cloth, some streamers, other NYE necessities. But...they were already sold out of quite a bit, and there were some items that were just very cheap looking. But I picked up a couple of items here and filled in the rest with some slightly more expensive but better looking merch from Target. Between the two stores, I have NYE covered! read more

I placed an online balloon order for my daughter's first birthday a week in advance of the party. An employee named Jack called me the next day and told me that he had everything pulled for my order, but that they were out of the silver "1" balloon. However, he said I could call again before I came to pick it up to see if they were back in stock. Okay, no problem, I thought. I called this morning to check about that balloon before going to pick up the order. They couldn't find my order anywhere. I told them what Jack had said, and they said he should have gotten my credit card info to reserve. They wanted me to reorder and then come. I was pretty frustrated by this point. I asked them what email address I could send my confirmation that my order was ready for pickup because I really didn't want to go through the process of ordering again. They then looked and found the order in their emails and said I could come pick it up when I was ready to. Let me emphasize that this whole process of finally finding the order took at least 30 minutes of getting called back off and on with this whole mess. I arrived at the store a couple hours later to pick up the order, and they couldn't find the order again. The lady I talked to on the phone came over and apologized and brought my order over but none of the balloons were inflated because they claimed I hadn't selected for them to be inflated (when I had). They also had a "1" balloon that was air inflated instead of helium inflated. Thankfully, we traded it out. They inflated all the balloons, and I left with them only to have two balloons pop as soon as we put them in the car because they'd overinflated them. I was too frustrated to even want to try to go back in and get them replaced. Needless to say, we will not be using Party City again for balloons. read more

Ok so I'm last minute shopping for this costume that my daughter wants and they had it and it just made my day. Even better I saved $10 on it thanks to a coupon they had ready to go for me as a customer.. so that was a double wow for me today. Nice people and a great store. Love everything they have there. I needed a number 3 balloon for a party and called this location. Sales associated confirm that the balloon was available in needed color and the second preference, I was looking for either black of red. I've asked them to save it for me, and I will be heading that way right away. When I got there 30 mins later, there were no balloons available and no one was holding any for me. No one wanted to take responsibility for proving awful customer service and being dishonest of the current inventory. read more

This is really a super-fun store, with about a million ways to decorate for your party, great deals on decorations, for every holiday, all in one place, so much fun! Just being there makes me want to have an excuse to throw a party. I was in there for Halloween, and I will say, though, I took off a star because most of the employees were looking zombie-faced, sad, or bored; they didn't know were anything was; and I almost left without getting the black taper candles I wanted simply because know one knew who where they were (the store does have three different candle sections). I would say the wrapping paper in plain colors is SUPER-THIN and cheap; the $1 kind is not worth it. you have to wrap it twice. The printed kind is better. They have lots of plastic platters that are so cute. There halloween costume section on the back wall is BANGIN, EPIC, Ta-DAW! It's that good. Can you tell I like to throw a party? I think I will start to come to this store they day after the Holiday to save on a budget, because they seemed way overstocked on a lot of things. You know, I can give em five stars. Just so colorful and fun. I am just a cheerful person and the dang store is worth walking in for a smile ;) . There are some things here that may be overpriced; it does help to bring a smart phone to double-check; and to stock up AFTER the holiday. Placed a balloon order, email stated would pay when I got there... I get a call. The balloons I ordered were not in stock (even though website said it was) I said fine switch everything to silve... and then I'm advised I need to pay. Apparently you go through all the crap online for nothing. I get to the store, the balloons were not black and silver (my selection had ben black with silver dots) they were silver.... and my #1 balloon was gold... literally nothing right.... I'm really grateful this wasn't for something REALLY important. Never again. I didn't have another 20/30 minutes to stand there and get it fixed traffic being what it is I was running late anyway. read more

I've been to this party city for all my events . Not many times have I been asked if we needed help with anything . I didn't mind , most of the time I just say I'm browsing anyways So I wouldn't leave a bad review. We went in about a week ago to look for baby shower decorations etc. As me and mom are looking a lady comes in front of us without even saying excuse me or even acknowledging us . So we think she's maybe a customer until she started fixing everything we were looking at . I had grabbed a frame for guest signatures and set it down as we looked for more stuff and she grabbed it and stocked it back up, stuff we didn't even touch she fixed rudely. Nothing that we touched and put back did we set it back in the wrong place nor did we make any mess. It was my mom and I. Both adults , no kids, we were definitely not making a mess or a scandal . She left the whole aisle fixing ONLY the stuff that we were looking at like I said without even acknowledging us . read more
