So why only 4 stars? The place is a hot mess. It looks scary on the outside and it smells like my grandmothers house. It's what would happen if a hoarder owned a party/cake store. It's jam packed with stuff and, while organized, you do have to dig a bit through decades worth of stuff that never sold to find what you need. If something doesn't sell they leave it on the shelf for decades until someone buys it. There is no clearance. But if you need a Wilton pan shaped like a Cabbage Patch kid circa 1983, party decorations with Rainbow Brite, or a book on decorating from the 1970s, then you're sure to find it here.

A lovely gal suggested a VT balloon to me and I held one. I was planning on being there two days after VT day, but it ended up 4 days late. Upon arrival to the store, the folks there could not do enough for me. They located a sealed box from the back, opened it and my balloon was labeled for a hold for me. The gal opened it, inflated it in front of me, then decorated the hand held ribbon, with 4 or five seperate ribbons all coordinated to the balloon colors. She had excellent customer service skills, and had the artist eye as well. We now have our traditional VT balloon. I always will now return to this great store. The selection of balloons and party needs is mind blowing in so many choices. They have designer balloons in chrome and metallic balloons in the shape of ufo's. What a great store, I cannot say enough great things about this great shop, and the manager helped as well to insure my satisfaction. A+++ and highly recommended.

(This was quite a hassle to begin with, so the red flags should've went up then & there.) I ordered a package of 100 rubber ducks and when they arrived, I received only 97 in the box. (I was doing a promotion with my business that was awarded 100 winners, so I thought this would be perfect, and now I have to go find three more to make my contest to be as advertised at my event.) I first wrote an e-mail, which was never acknowledged, and so I called customer service to inquire about getting the missing ducks. I was told that they could not send me the missing items and that they would just refund my credit card for the missing items. I still haven't gotten my refund as of yet (and it's been a week since I contacted them.) Will probably not order from again if this is their standard practice of doing business.
