I went in to get some Halloween supplies and wanted to place an order for balloons for 4 days later. I asked the girl at the front how I go about placing an order and she said "I have to ask if we can take your order." And left for a few minutes. She came back and said "Okay, go pick out your balloons." And didn't tell me where they were just turned away and started talking to the other girl behind the desk about personal things. I picked out some balloons and came back with them and noticed the colors of orange I picked looked a little off. Some were brighter than the others. I asked if they were the same and no one answered me. The next day I was thinking about it and wanted to double check that the balloons I ordered were all the same color. I called and was on hold for 10 minutes until they came back on the phone and said they can't find my order. I waited another 5 minutes and they said they found it and they look the same. I went to pick up my order a couple days later and I saw it sitting in the corner. I said "I'm picking up my balloon order." The girl at the front went to the area where the orders are kept and came back over and informed me that they don't have an order under my name. I said "it's the one sitting right there..." Eventually, I got my order and everything was fine. I was just frustrated because it seemed like they didn't have a single clue what was going on and they couldn't find my order TWICE. It was just annoying because I don't have all day to spend on buying stupid balloons, I pre-ordered them to take the hassle out of the whole thing and it ended up being more frustrating than anything. I will be getting balloons and party supplies else where from now on. Hopefully a place that has a clue what's going on. read more

Went there to buy invitations for my daughters birthday party, we both stood up by the front counter for about 5 minutes waiting to get help, 4 employees were standing within 20ft of us behind the counter. None of them even acknowledged we were there, it's like they were deliberately ignoring us. We went next door and got amazing service at the hallmark store, they even gave my daughter a little candy thing for her birthday for free and wished her a happy birthday. read more

Be very careful when shopping this store. Their shelf prices do not match what they actually charge at the register. When I questioned the cashier, she said that kids go around and move items and tags. I worked in retail for over 15 years. I know how to read the tags. It was definitely the right tag for the products I was buying. Out of 10 items I bought, I was overcharged .50 -.85 cents on every one of my items. That adds up to overcharge of $ 6.50, plus tax. Not enough to stand in a 10 minute line again, but enough to warrant a review to warn other customers to beware. I will not be shopping this store again. There are too many other competitors that honor their posted prices. read more

Party City is a joke. This isn't my first negative experience, but it will be my last. I bought my daughter a Halloween costume online and it was finally delivered (a few days late, but that was fine). So I go into the store for the full return and it keeps ringing up as $5.36 when I paid $22.99 plus tax (and shipping which I knew I would eat the cost of if I returned it). They have to call every manager to try and "fix" it and they can't figure it out. They tell me I will try and find something of same cost, but they didn't. So they think it's ok to just give me $21.96 cash. I paid $22.99 plus tax. It is not about money, but the principal. It was unopened and returned In the correct amount of time. Shady! read more

TIM WAS AWESOME!!!!!! My husband and i came in to blow up some balloons we bought off line. Tim was so nice to help out and even helped suggest additional items which would make the balloon bouquet look good - from colors, to extra balloons. He was kind, patient, and even helped us with our complete and utter failures of our online purchase. He spent over 20 minutes with us trying to make things look good, and at no point made us feel like we were wasting his time, or bothering him. After working with Tim, we will never buy any party supplies online again, especially balloons and go straight to Party City! Thank you Tim for making our night, for making our 70th birthday surprise go without a hitch, and for just being an awesome, awesome guy. Party City is LUCKY to have you! read more

If I had a choice I wouldn't give this store any stars. I will never set foot in Party City ever again. I was treated incredibly poorly by David the manager who was rude and wrongfully accused me of stealing. I walked in with an item, grabbed what I wanted to exchange it with and when the girl at the counter called him over to approve the exchange he wouldn't do it because "I didn't have any items in my hand when I walked into the store." Forget the fact that he was leaning over the counter talking to the girl at the register not even paying attention to me when I walked in. He wouldn't give me back my item that I had rightfully bought and he wouldn't give my money back to me. He refused to look at the receipt that I had in my hand proving I had bought that exact item, and he didn't listen to anything I had to say accusing me over and over that I was lying and trying to steal. He claims he looked at the camera but if he actually did he would see that I had items in my hand when I walked in the store. Pretty ironic how David accused me of stealing but then went out and stole money from me by refusing to let me have my rightful items or refusing to give my money back. I will definitely be bringing this up to corporate and if that doesn't help taking legal action. read more

This location was very organized and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful! I would recommend this store for all your party needs. They have a ton of themes from football teams to luaus. Also, decorations in just color. read more

More like party poopers!!! From the poor customer service to the over priced items I'll take my party elsewhere. I was surprised to see so many Christmas items still on the shelve a week after the holiday but once I took my purchase to the register I found out why. "Can I get a price check on this Christmas pack of paper cups please?" Yes sir that is 6.99. Ok the sign says 50% off?? That's after the discount sir?? Whaaaa..??? It's a week after Christmas and these cups are usually $6.99 when the holiday is happening. Oh I get it, you price mark them up so you think your getting a discount... Noted, and keep your stupid Xmas cups. . With hobby lobby and the dollar store I'm surprised Party City has survived this long with them high prices. I placed a balloon order weeks ago for my sons Star Wars themed party and picked up my order today. I came across an awesome storm trooper balloon today and had to have it for the party. Even though the gals had lots of orders to fill they accommodated my request and took the time to fill an extra balloon order for me. Good selection, but customer service is lacking to just downright lazy. With two people at most working in the store at one time, I think that Party City's expectations of their employees are ridiculous. Expect an employee that is helping you to drop everything every 2 minutes so that a customer doesn't go ungreeted at the door. The store is always very clean, well stocked and organized. Customer service tends to bare minimum if not just plain rude. About 5 months ago I called the manager to complain as I heard the front desk cashier rudely tell a customer that asked if they had piñatas that "of course we do, over there, why would you think we wouldn't, of course we would have piñatas". After I told the manager what I heard they said, is that all, I said yes and they hung up. I still shop at the store but I expect little to no customer service. read more

I have been a Party City customer for years I have eight kids and visit Party City at least 10 times a year very disappointed to find out just this month I bought some balloons for my daughter's gender revealing party and was told there's a limit to three balloons to have blown up I have had 50 something balloons blown up there at one time I do not know what's going on they say something about a shortage this is Party City how ridiculous you're supposed to be able to fulfill our needs very unhappy with your franchise at this time read more

Treated awfully! I've never been treated so badly at an establishment. We went in for a few things for a going away work party and I was standing at the balloon counter being ignored when the guy working(bald with tattoos on arms) clearly saw us standing there, when I finally asked if we can get some help he yelled from way across the counter down by the first register if we were trying to purchase balloons. I said yes and also had a question about if they had a certain banner in stock. He answered so rudely and matter of fact like I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN the answer to that. Come on dude!! after I paid for the balloons he blew them up for us which the helium didn't even last 12 hours, the dollar store balloons last longer than that!! The woman that was working also should probably smile a little more often as she looked absolutely miserable doing her job. She herself was also a little short with everyone in line. I will not be returning to party city and wouldn't recommend this place for party supplies to anyone unless the staff were different. You go into a place like that to feel welcome and to have fun shopping for fun things, not to be treated like crap and be serviced by miserable staff that seem to not like their job. read more

Came in here a while back with my friend just browsing around the store, and a male employee kept showing up in each aisle we were in. Thought it was slightly strange, but continued to shop. He then walks over and loudly whispers in my friends ear, "super sexy discount, 10% off anything you girls would like." He then walked away and we couldnt even believe that that just happened! We then quickly made our way out, and he was at the counter checking out a customer, so we avoided eye contact and left. The next day, I came back to talk to a manager about it, and she had no clue who he was when I gave her a description. Scary. I have no plans on shopping there anytime in the future. read more
