If you are planning an office party celebrating someone's birthday or perhaps a Mardi Gras party or a Super Bowl party or a Valentine's Day party or an Easter party or a wedding or any other number of special events party city is probably a good place to get ideas and possibly some of your supplies. This particular party city is located on the south west corner of Highway 75 and beltline. It is a very busy store but a very well-stocked store. They also become Halloween headquarters at Halloween time and have and have any number of costumes available. They also have One of the largest selection of balloons that I have ever seen in one store. They will either blow them up for you or you can even purchase containers of helium and blow them up yourselves closer to the event. Party cities prices and service are both pretty good. Their selection is amazing.Those things combined to make a pretty good store for the party planner. read more

Now that my kids are older and don't go all out for Halloween, I haven't had much need to go to a Party City in years and honestly forgot about this location. I went to purchase / order balloons for HS graduation. The balloon ordering process was not super obvious so I hopped in line for the cashier since no one seemed to be manning the balloon desk. Once I got up there I met the SWEETEST older woman who was super helpful and did a great job to place my order and ring me up. When I came to pickup my order a few weeks later, again I hopped in line and got a very pleasant older gentleman who quickly retrieved my order and wished me well on my day. I can't say there was anything fantastic about the stock or building but I have to say the employees I've come in contact with have all been very nice and helpful and I appreciate their efforts! read more

Disappointed they don't have a better selection, they only have solid colors. I was looking for some Fall or Holiday printed tissue paper. It's a smaller size than most Party City locations, and can feel a little cramped, but you can still find just about anything you'd expect here. Store is fully stocked and well organized. It's our go-to place for party supplies. Since it is in a shopping center, the Belt Line address is a little misleading. It's at the very end bordering the 75 South access road. read more

Love the one stop shopping this store provides. Also like the selection and color choice . Balloon selection is always great. My only complaint is that sometimes the store can be messy and staff seem to have trouble keeping up with that mess . Staff is friendly but have to say not always helpful .. A few have the attitude of it is not out then we don't have it . At least go to the back and look for me . read more

Needed to purchase a single balloon for a child's gift, and staff would not make time of less than 30 seconds to produce it for me. They claim it was due to large on-line order for balloons ahead of me, and that I would have to wait 45 minutes. There was no one in line that was actually in the store. Seems very petty to not wait on a in-store customer first with an order that would take them 30 seconds to fill. So, I want to Dollar Tree across the street and they provided me a balloon in less than one minute. I will try never to shop at Party City again. read more

This store is awful! There is only one person behind the counter. We ordered balloons and she had to call a manager to fill them. After waiting for 5 minutes, he finally came over to help us. The store is also disorganized and messy. Frankly, other Party City stores are much nicer and more efficient; we'll try not to come back to this one. read more

Worst employees ever! We had found a ton of photo booth thing under the price $5.99, but when we went to ring it, it showed $7.99. We told them and they said that it's the right price. My mom went back and showed her where she found them, and she accused my mom of changing the position if the item. So last year I would've rated this place a one or a two. Service was super slow and overpriced. Items were all super cheap and tacky. So today I had to get 40 balloons for a b-day party. Doesn't seem like that hard of a task. Until I went to Party City in Plano. I called ahead and placed the order, trying save myself time so I didn't have to stand around the party store. Instead I get a phone call, when my balloons are supposed to be ready, from an associate at the store telling me to come pick them up because they had half of them blown up and they started to pop. So, I ask, are they popping because of poor quality or are they being blown up to large? I think this is appropriate because if I'm spending $35 on some balloons that are going to pop before I even get to my car with them, I might as well flush the $ down the toilet and save myself the trip. Well, the girl stated that it might be because "it's hot in the store" Huh? What does that have to do with balloons popping? She assured me they blew up extra that I didn't have to pay for just in case some popped on the way home. Well of course some popped on the way home. I can't believe I'm reviewing a Party City, but this place has hands down the worst customer service of any place I've ever been. I go here about once a month to get supplies for monthly happy hours at my office. No one ever offers to help and if I ask for help I usually just get blank stares. Yesterday, I asked the cashier if she knew where something was. Her response was, "I wish". I spotted 6 people working there and 4 people in the store, how is it possible she doesn't have time to help me find something? Also the store isn't that big and she works there, I'm baffled that she doesn't know where something is. After that I was forced to walk down almost every aisle. I was at the end of one aisle, when another Party City employee rammed my foot with a ginormous ladder. Not only did she not apologize or make sure I was okay, she told me to move out of her way. I asked her to figure out a different solution, because to get out of her way I would have to walk under the ladder. She stared me down until I finally just did it. Check your receipts! I recently purchased some clearance plates and napkins but was a little shocked when my total was higher than I was expecting. I didn't realize until I got home that I was charged full price. I called the store and they confirmed that I was supposed to receive the lower price. I came in a few days later to get my refund and was treated very poorly. First, the cashier wasn't even listening when I was explaining the issue to her. A manager came over. She was quite rude and never offered any apology for the mix up. After all was done, I received a $14 refund - not chump change, mind you. No apology was ever given, not even a smile or thank you. This location pretty small and cramped the begin with. In the week or two before Halloween it is just a nightmare. Wall to wall people, long lines, the store itself looks like a war zone. Disheveled, disorganized, and pretty much a mess. They are understaffed so the employees are pretty overwhelmed and service can be slow to impossible to get. I've ordered costumes off the internet the last two years simply to avoid this chaos. They have a lot of cute little decoration for whatever the holiday of the moment is, so it's worth checking out other times of the year as well. read more

This party city seemed small to me compared to others I've been to but they seem to have a pretty wide selection. I went there about two weeks ago to find a costume for my Niece and they didn't have it but I was able to get all the accessories. They certainly aren't cheap but I guess it's because they know what people are willing to pay for Halloween. read more

Elvira was very helpful to me over the phone when I called to inquire about the availability and price of jewelry boxes. She offered to go and look without me even having to ask. She came back online to describe the box sizes available and prices. While I was holding I was reading the reviews, some of which are negative, so it was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the store didn't have enough quantity of the boxes I needed, but Elvira again offered to check the inventories at the other stores! Bad customer service: Just needed to blow up two balloons that I bought from their store, and they would not do so claiming that they didn't have enough helium for their orders all the while blowing a bunch of others for their orders. Either they were untruthful and being lazy or they have a bad customer service operation and need to keep a full stock of helium on hand or need to develop a quick back up plan to get more. Plus they were very unfriendly and had negative attitudes. As a Christian, I forgive them in advance because Jesus has forgiven me of all my sins and He wants me to do so, just wanted to help them with this feedback to improve their operations so they don't irritate too many people and eventually go out of business. read more

Pissed is all I can say! I will never come to this location! I came in yesterday to order balloons... total incompetence I mean how hard is it to explain balloons? I got 30 latex balloons along with the foil number balloons in two numbers... I live 30 min away... paid for them $60.60 ... I gave the receipt after being told they only last 24 hrs and not prior to my purchase.. well that wasn't going to work so I decided I would have to come back the next day at 10 am...get here and there is not even half of my damn balloons and the idiot tatted up chick that took my receipt the day before...didn't attach it to my balloon order! Well a hour later I'm still here wasting my damn day! Waste of time! Poor staffing and morons! Only guy that wasn't was named Dante from the day before ... I'm really upset and I will never come to this location ever when I've been coming here for the past 27 Years! All said and done one lady was nice and tried to make it right... even said she would refund my latex balloon purchase. Still the time and energy not to mention the waste of my time... isn't making it better for me. I would of just liked good service start to finish. It wasn't about the money. Worst service ever at this location. Staff was too busy gossiping to help customers and was rude when asked about if they carried anything for a tea party. I was told they didn't carry anything then later found it on the shelves. I told them so they would know they carried it and they rolled their eyes, because I interrupted gossiping I guess. We purchased helium balloons for a child's party and picked them up the day prior to the event. We were asked what balloons we wanted and were told they would they would last about six hours. As the store was closed the day of the event, we felt we had no choice but to get the balloons and hope they still lasted the next day. Imagine our chagrin when we saw them filling another helium balloon order and they were pumping liquid latex into the balloons before adding helium. We asked what did that do? Well, it makes the helium balloons last for 24 hours!!!!! Thanks for NOT offering that option up front. Our balloons died and we wasted $18. I wound up taping the balloons to the wall instead. I work in retail and I explain all options to my guests so they don't wind up angry or disappointed. Will visit other locations in future and hope for more professional service. read more
