As I said in my review, it was the owner that was screaming at the dogs in the back. The police were NEVER involved. I walked out on my appointment day without ever speaking to anyone because they did not respond when I rang the bell. And there was no one at the front desk. I am disgusted that this person is trying to cover up a bad review with a lie!!!!! This is just additional evidence that this is an unethical & non trustworthy business. The facility is welcoming, cozy and clean. I love that it's female owned and family operated! I was very anxious about boarding Sherlock over Christmas because he suffers separation anxiety, but after seeing the daily photos and videos my mind was completely put at ease. Sherlock looked like he was having a great time and it was clear he was being well cared for and getting lots of love & attention! Now I can go on vacation with no worries knowing that Sherlock is in great hands. He now goes to doggie day care weekly. I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. As we began searching for local doggy daycares, we were so grateful to find Happy Puppy! We have been regular customers ever since for daycare, boarding, grooming, and training. When we added another furry family member to our household, it was a no-brainer to let her join her sister there for all the fun. Kevin and his team have always been excellent communicators, and they are truly outstanding at understanding dogs' behavior and individual needs. Our girls are elated every time they get dropped off at Happy Puppy! On our most recent trip out of town, one of our girls had a minor injury that required her to wear a cone. Kevin was incredibly accommodating and worked with us to create a safe, comfortable environment for her while she continued the healing process, all while making sure she received the extra TLC she needed. Twice Simply Pets has really gone above and beyond for us - once when I had a family emergency and they did everything they could to fit us in last minute. More recently we were out of the country when our furnace gave out and Kelsie & Josie did everything from turning on our space heaters to finding alternate housing (in case the furnace couldn't be repaired soon). They kept us informed every step of the way and what's more important, did everything to keep our cats safe and comfortable.
