Great, Accomodating service. Returns were easy also with the receipt a week after (over ordered on candy and some paper good items for a school function). They also made a small 14th birthday arrangement for me while I waited - it was a last-minute idea as I saw one on their table upon entering the store and thought it'd be perfect instead of helium balloons on balloon weights as felt our twins outgrew balloons. I can get past the mess of the store and the uninterested employees since I do always try to support local businesses. But BUYER BEWARE! This Party Fair has the most absurd return policy or should I say no return policy. They will not accept returns from merchandise that was SOLD BY THEM AND NEVER SEALED IN PLASTIC! Ninety percent of the merchandise on their shelves are not sealed in plastic. Don't waste your time here - take a trip to Party City. read more

I have bought balloons twice from the Party Fair on 33 in Hamilton, NJ, and they lose air ridiculously faster than balloons from the dollar store. The first time was for my daughter-in-laws baby shower (picked up that day) and they lost some air by the time I got them to the site. The second time was last weekend for my husband's retirement. Same situation, however, someone else brought a balloon that they bought at one of the dollar stores and it still looks fine, 6 days later. I took pictures and you would be surprised to see the difference, 6 days later, between the 3 Party Fair balloons $2.99 each, and the dollar store balloon. Wow. How does this place stay open? The place is huge and empty yet the employees cannot be bothered with helping the customers. There is no sort of greeting when you walk in, and it is incredibly awkward because you feel like you are the first person they've seen all day in that dusty store. They dedicated two long aisles to Halloween costumes at the end of NOVEMBER for FULL PRICE?! The prices of items I can literally get at the dollar store are quadruple the price. So if you've always had a desire to enter the twilight zone, your closest bet is to come to this store. Once you've experienced the weirdness, walk out, get in your car and drive to Party City. read more

This place is a mess. Expensive. Kids that work there useless. Place needs to be cleaned.

Every single time I go to the store I leave there upset. The people there are always in a bad mood they are always surly and impatient. I remember at least three occasions on which either they have treated me badly or told my children how to act or just been plain nasty. The first time when my son was one year old he touched a balloon display that was on the floor and one of the balloons popped and they made us all feel so bad. This is an display was on the floor. On another occasion I haven't even finished asking my question in there or anything "no we don't have that" And just waving me away. Today I went to pick up some balloons that I had ordered for my daughter's birthday party. I saw them prepared and I went and got them right in the aisle where all the customers are walking and worry doesn't say anything about not taking the balloons that I already paid for that have my name on them. And I had my receipt in my hand and I didn't go to the clerk directly because she already look like she was in a bad mood. I thought I would just grab the balloons and go to her and give her the receipt and show it to her. Instead she came up to me and made me feel horrible tearing the receipt from the balloons saying something about "excuse me". Didn't look me in the eye she just basically ripped the tag off the balloon and appeared to be so angry. I will never buy one pin from that store again. I would rather buy a tank and fill up the balloons in my living room myself or drive to Clifton or somewhere to pick up those balloons but I will never ever ever set foot in that store again. read more

This place is horrible: over priced, old inventory that all faded. Three people working in the store and only one person knows how to blow up balloons. Couldn't blow up one balloon for my nephew: I guess they enjoy see a child cry on their birthday. I don't know how they let this store fall apart. Also are you every going to fix the floors they have looked like a decrepit mental institution. read more

I walked into this Party Fair at Verona, NJ and I was astounded and offended by the music the store is playing. Instead of Holiday/Christmas music, I heard Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know," with Fxxx word in the lyric. How inappropriate to play music with foul language at a business with customers mostly children and parents! I was glad I didn't bring my kids with me. I will not visit this place ever again! read more

They had everything I wanted however they didn't give me weights for the large "6" and "0" balloons I bought . After I got home I called and they suggested taping them together. That worked but it would have been better with weights. So average for customer service. read more

I've now come here twice for party supplies. It's not the prettiest store (depressing neon lights, dull gray carpeting, somewhat unenthused workers - who can blame them), but there is a huge selection for both kids and adult parties. The space is big, packed with just about everything you need for a party with a budget. The prices are fair (though admittedly the party favors are extremely cheap and will likely be disposed of by your guests), and they even have lots of 50% off discounts on paper cups, plates and napkins. My son's Cars themed birthday party and daughter's Minnie Mouse themed party were both a huge success thanks to Party Fair. Other themes I saw were Paw Patrol, Sofia the first, Disney princesses, Super heroes, Mickey Mouse, minions, and so much more. I decided to purchase balloons a day in advance, and the associate recommended the hi-loft glue to keep the latex balloons inflated for about a week for only 25 cents more per balloon. It's been two days and they are still floating like new. Highly recommend Party Fair! read more

I was recommended to come here after a friend had told me she had purchased balloons from this party store. I decided to go in and place a balloon order for a future date. Upon entering the store I had difficulty finding someone to help me with my order, so I walked towards the counter and was surprised to find the employees sitting behind the counter using their cellphones. I am shocked how the managment of the store allows such behavior by their employees! This store has honestly the worst customer service I have ever seen. I highly recommend others never to shop here. read more
