We booked the 'Rustic Cabin Suite' which was their lowest price room available at the time, but it was well furnished, comfortable, quiet, and perfect for a place to stay for two. It was quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Don't forget to take advantage of the Carin winery next door, and I hear (we missed out) the lodge offers an add on steak dinner (plan in advance) that sounds divine, and in that environment, will be on our list for our next visit! The lodge itself is well-appointed with a beautiful seating/gathering/eating area downstairs. Breakfast was great with a menu of French toast and apple bake, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice and some of the best flavored coffee I've had in a LONG time (bourbon infused pecan). It had a real southern look to it while still keeping it classy. The venue is real tidy and you can tell they keep it very well maintained.
