He was so trusting and relaxed that my granddaughter felt so proud of herself at the things she got to experience! One example is that she got to walk her horse--Mama Rose--back to the red "barn" all by herself once she had completed her session! She's 6! We arrived early and got to "self tour" without anyone being uptight, which included visiting the goats! Before my granddaughter took her helmet off, she asked to go again! I came home and purchased 3 more sessions! We plan to take her lifelong buddy next time! Experience over toys! Experience is the best gift ever!

I was genuinely interested in their services, but after repeatedly trying to reach them with no response, I've given up. If it's this difficult to simply get someone to answer the phone, it makes me question how reliable their communication and customer service would be once you become a customer. We decided on this venue back in early March, and I communicated with Cindy regularly all the way up to my wedding day. She always responded promptly and answered any questions I had (and there was a lot). She let me go look at the space as many times as I wanted to plan things out and take pictures, and during those months they were working to add things to make weddings there even more magical. Our wedding was the first they had there in many years, from what I understand, but you'd never know that based on how smoothly everything went and how easy communication was with them. From Madeline's excitement from our very first phone call months before, she handled every detail and answered all of my questions with enthusiasm and excitement for our special day. She organized the private horseback ride (2.5 Short Loop), professional photos and private dinner which was nothing short of magical and the horses (Forest and Jack) were so calm and fun to ride. Maddie was an incredible guide for my first time riding and made the whole experience relaxed and filled with laughs. She positioned us perfectly at sunset for me to propose and was so patient while we soaked up the moment. The private dinner afterward was incredibly special with music playing, candles, and champagne - super romantic! The chef curated an amazing meal that was entirely gluten free by request. We ended the night enjoying the company of the other ranch hands around the fire with their dogs as they all shared in the excitement for us that made the evening end feeling like we were celebrating with old friends. It was fun to learn a little bit about her and a lot about just the nature preserve and all the little fun facts that we probably wouldn't have known otherwise. The oak trees are a huge plus. There's actual shade here, not just a few patches, which makes a big difference in this area. If you hike out far enough you'll find old abandoned houses and structures, which is honestly one of the coolest parts. It gives the whole place a bit of history and something extra to explore. Also great for horseback riding and a solid spot to bring food and picnic without dealing with crowds. Simple, quiet, and worth going back to.

Be sure to wear a hat and bring water , this particular trail is my least favorite. I don't recommend to bring your fur baby , if you do. Please be careful this area has lots of over grown horse tail grass, it is so harmful to your fur babies. I would recommend to come during winter and cooler temperatures.

Lesson horses are cared for in same manner as private horses- and most are show quality for any circuit. Prices are very,very reasonable considering the quality of facility, horses and instructors. I am from up north where training like this is immensely expensive, and out of reach for most families. There is great trail access from the property, and the ranch quiet and serene, with a nice breeze not found in flatter parts of area during hot summer months. I highly recommend Showcase to anyone who is in need of boarding/training/lessons. They offer a great deal- $45 for one hour evaluation lesson on a school horse. Trust me, you will not find a better deal.
