Leslie, co-owner, communicates right away and will ask questions to make sure you get the best item for your party- is it indoor our outdoor, windy area, beach, how large is the stage, things like that so she can make suggestions which will work better for your party. Things we may not be aware of since they've done thousands of parties all over the island and continent. They know all the party venues, hotels, convention center, cultural centers, restaurants, etc that people have parties at, so it makes it easy for you too because they have info and experience that we may not be aware of. Philip contacted me immediately after I submitted online request and we nailed down the details. He texted a week before so I could make payment and reconfirm details and make sure nothing changed. Philip arrived as promised in the cool van advertising the company and brought exactly what we talked about. Setting up for us, tying on balloon clusters, explaining what works best for life of balloons, and even brought an extra one in case the heat wasn't kind. They give you an option of having them return to pick up balloon stands (we had two columns outdoors so needed to be on the metal stands) or to save the extra fee, you may return it to Hawaii Kai. On the day of the party, they arrived early to set up. We booked them for balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos and all our guests, both children and adults, loved them! Their work was very beautiful and all the kids kept lining back up for more. It was adorable seeing all the tattoos and balloons everywhere! They were so great with the kids and all our guests had so much fun. Dave made my son a Winnie the Pooh balloon and he absolutely loved it. The sweet woman working with Dave (unfortunately I forget her name, my brain was all over the place at the time) made my son a little turtle balloon bracelet and he was obsessed with it! Well, back in 2006 he was still up and running. He was located directly on the corner across of OCCC. Yup! That corner building. This of course was WAAAAY BEFORE Party City was expanded & way before they had deliveries and party entertainment. His price was reasonable too. I had once rented a LARGE TANK for $120. Fully loaded. And that tank could blow up over 100 balloons. Then we just put a deposit that applied towards the cost and if we kept it for more extra days, he'd charge an additional $25 per day. It's worth it if your seriously making good use of the helium. Other than that, you ought as well order balloons from the stores or, buy those disposable tanks that makes 30 balloons. I wish this guy was still around. And even if his business was closed, I wish he would still operate from home. Cause with all the parties we've been doing lately... I think we'd be his number one customers right now. LOL!! But if he ever comes back... I HOPE HE DOES, I would be super HAPPY & IF TOTALLY ADVERTISE FOR HIM!
