This past Saturday we were lucky to have the third brother, Gideon, perform his magic and he arrived on time, easy set up, all prepared, dressed professionally, very friendly and amazing talking with the keiki. Gideon brought a large board with pictures of various balloon art to choose from and makes it easier on the guest which moves the line faster. Or, we've always asked if he can make a Ninja Turtle or Pluto which may not be on the board and most likely he can! One time someone asked for a monkey and he created a large palm tree with a little brown monkey hanging from it holding a banana! That's the extent these guys go to amaze and delight! I visited Storybook Station in Spring 2025 based off a review on Facebook. Prior to that, I've only…read moreseen and interacted with Storybook Entertainment characters performing at various events on the island (examples: Christmas events at Royal Hawaiian Center, events at Wet N Wild, etc). There are 2 physical locations - Pearlridge and Windward Mall. My child's birthday was coming up, so I booked BOTH locations for a "Stay and Play" session. You can either call or book online for a session. A "Stay and Play" session starts off with choosing a costume. There are many options to choose from - unicorn, princess, mermaid, cheerleader, etc. After changing, your child is whisked off for a makeover which includes nail painting and face painting. How fun! Kids can have a little tea party with the Storybook staff (who are also dressed up), dance to the music, and/or have a photoshoot with the props. Although both locations have different props, they are both magical in their own right. I mean, check out my pictures. The colors, the lighting ... everything just adds to the ambiance and makes a very unique and unforgettable experience for the little ones. You won't regret bringing your kid(s) here. They were literally my one stop shop for MULTIPLE things! We did the party package pro + projector and screen rental. Everything from the inquiry, to the emails, to the payments, AND reminders (because I lose track of time a lot) all were such a smooth process. I'm naturally always anxious and stressed, and want to make sure everything runs smoothly. Sooo much of my anxiety was eased because of Balloon Twisters Hawaii. They were organized, timely, cleaned up after themselves, effectively communicated with my husband and I, AND were such a breath of fresh air with their humor. They were able to fit our youngest and oldest guests, 1yo and 13yo respectively, into the mix without compromising price and service. And when my child showed changes in who her favorite characters were, I called and making modifications was easy! It was so nice just being able show up and enjoy the party. I didn't have to plan or order or set up or break down. LOVELY. I did bring our own goodie bags to pass out in addition to the goodie bags that were included only because we did a non-food event and so I wanted to be extra and send our guests off with a tea party to-go. The event went wonderfully. So much so that I wanted to cry happy tears at how much my kiddo (and all the kiddos) we're enjoying themselves. We did add-on a visit from Rapunzel, which was our kiddo's favorite part. She relished in all the attention Rapunzel gave her. The makeover was so good! Better than overpriced face painting at Disneyland. You actually get what you're paying for. The kids were over the moon at getting fancied up and playing with the characters. The littles are still very much believers in the magic so being able to play with a fairy and learn that a mermaid used magic to have her legs for the party was nothing short of magical.
