Saying goodbye to our family dog of 16 years was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do,…read morebut we are so grateful for the compassion and care we received from Dr. Fisse. From the very first phone call, Dr. Fisse was incredibly professional, empathetic, and patient. This was an emergency situation, and she took the time to answer every call, text, and question we had before we made the difficult decision to let our beloved dog go. She never pressured us and made sure we fully understood the process from beginning to end. What meant the most to our family was how accommodating she was. Dr. Fisse worked around multiple schedules so that family members traveling from out of state and those working full-time could be present. She understood how important it was for us to be together and did everything she could to make that happen. During the visit, Dr. Fisse was gentle, loving, and incredibly kind to both our dog and our family. She never rushed us, gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes, and explained each step with such care and sensitivity. Her calm presence brought comfort during one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. While no one ever wants to be in this situation, we couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, dignified, and compassionate experience. Dr. Fisse treated our beloved dog with so much respect and love, and for that, we will always be grateful. Thank you, Dr. Fisse, for helping our family through such a difficult goodbye with kindness, grace, and compassion.

You left for the holiday weekend and provided a hospital in Suffolk County. You did not provide a diagnosis and an actual treatment plan. If you did, email it to me. Perhaps you should not "ramble" in inefficient care with several doctors there, and actually be competent to do your job. I did not pay at Blue Pearl because she was very thin. The CPR would have caused her pain and would not have meant she would live long, or at all, based on your inadequate treatment. And yes, the CPR is expensive. When you go to a veterinarian and see several of them in a "hospital," you expect a thorough diagnosis and treatment. The only responsibility I have is not following my intuition and taking her elsewhere. Yes, I do think veterinarians' often exorbitant bills leading owners to euthanize pets (when they can chip in for patients coming there for years) is immoral. I have more than enough funds for my present cat, but if you paid me millions of dollars, I would not bring her there. I read several reviews where bills were outrageous with no or the wrong diagnosis rendered. To Hernandez: Rather than ramble on talking down to people you think have less money than you do, focus on why after at least $2000 and three veterinarians later, I had nothing close to a definitive diagnosis or treatment. My cat had severe diarrhea with a voracious appetite. Clearly, her capillaries were not absorbing nutrients. from her small intestine. Did you find the etiology? You had blood and stool tests, and at least one ultrasound. Your solution was a duck and venison diet for three months, and go to emergency care [because you are incompetent]. She died before that. You should have been closed years ago after a thorough investigation, and look forward to the day you will be closed. What comes around goes around, and pets are children, so be wary.

I have been going to this place for a decade and have had many animals cared for here. Over the…read morecourse of the last 7 years I had a dog who developed diabetes and died a year and a half after diagnosis and my dog now has addisons disease. I have spent well over 50,000k there just for those two dogs alone. I brought my dog there for some bloodwork because I suspected he had diabetes and was right around the corner. It was a Sunday. The vet who was there at the time was in a rush to leave cause they closed at 3. Even though I brought him in hours before closing, he wasn't cooperating on giving blood because he was scared to death. Needless to say, she called me and told me to come pick up my dog because he was being a bad boy and since they were closing they would have to try again tomorrow. I should have went somewhere else at that point just for her attitude alone but I didnt. By the next morning he went into keto acidosis and I rushed him there without even calling and another vet took his lethargic body into to the back room. I was then informed of their estimate which was $4000 and in order for them to even examine him I would have to give them $1000 deposit to do any kind of work on him. I was so upset and angry because I literally could not take him somewhere else because he would have died. I gave them the grand and waited to hear the worst. Of course he had diabetes but the vet who's name I wont mention did save him from dying and took over his care. She was very good with him and she did the best she could until he died of acute pancreatitis a year and a half later, even though he was well regulated on his insulin and diet. In that time I was billed $31000 total. Which i paid in full. Then I got another dog and started to bring her there. And all was good with her the first 2 years until she developed addisons disease. Over the course of the last two years I have been billed ridiculous amounts of money for all kinds of tests, and even the follow up visits after the tests. These last few months I can't get any straight answers as to what is happening with her and they keep jamming me up with more tests. Oh and basically blaming me for her being over weight even though she is on steroids every single day and an additional shot of steroids once a month. She literally only eats a half a can of weight management food per day. 1/4 in the morning and 1/4 at night. Practically nothing!! In the past 2 months its cost me over 2000k. Im done. I went to another vet today 2 towns over and was charged a third of what bellerose charges for the same exact tests. Never again. The compassion you think you're seeing there, is to get you to spend all of your money. And God forbid you question it, they try to make you feel guilty for not caring enough for your pet because you can't afford their ridiculous fees. The vaccinations are ridiculously priced as well. I stayed out of convenience because of the close proximity to my house. No more. Id rather drive 100 miles than to be as over charged as ive been there.
